Everything was amazing from arrival to departure. Amenities all perfect and the junior suite with private pool was worth paying extra. Staff all exceptional so unfortunately no complaints! Will certainly rebook to go again! 5*****

We arrived at this beautiful hotel around midnight and we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who made us feel very welcome. The staff are so friendly and polite.The food was really lovely. The bars and restaurants are all great with lovely staff. Big shout out to the staff at the outside pool bar. Our room was amazing with our own private pool. Only thing I can complain about is that the room was quite open and not very private. You won't be disappointed with this hotel. Thank you.

All inclusive was brilliant value for money- wide range of breakfast, lunch and dinner options, along with really good veggie options. Drinks lists were extensive and there was always plenty going on around the hotel, (poolside games, beach Pilates, Greek dancing in the evening!!) The staff were so lovely and incredibly attentive, (your glass would be filled as you were asking for your order sometimes!) The hotel also has absolutely everything that you would need, from towels to a mini shop on site and a spa! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a beach holiday in Cyprus. We only wish that we could’ve taken more advantage of the swim up pool bar, (although we did visit in April when it is a bit too cold to enjoy yet!) On top of all that, the room was fantastic. We were very lucky and got upgraded to a suite, which was so incredibly spacious. Staff ensured that towels, and toiletries, were stocked up constantly.

Our second visit to this fabulous hotel. The staff are so hardworking. Our room was kept spotless by the cleaning staff, our plunge pool was checked everyday, the food in all the restaurants was top class. The staff at the Ariadne bar and the Thetis pool bar were attentive, hardworking and friendly. They remembered what your favourite drink was, which considering how many patrons there are is no easy feat! A wonderful stay overall and we have booked again for next year. My one and only criticism (if you can call it that) is we’ve not been able to prebook the room we want for next year. That would have been a lovely touch but we understand how busy this hotel is. I will email them ahead for a request (I did this year but unfortunately didn’t get the room we requested. Still had a lovely room but it wasn’t as good as the one we had last year as it was more overlooked and had a smaller decking area, a slightly smaller plunge pool and the interior was slightly smaller as well) so fingers crossed we might get the room we would like. Other than the above I cannot praise the hotel enough. For us to book for a third time speaks volumes. Fabulous hotel that we truly have fallen in love with.

Our second stay at this hotel- just as amazing as the first - and we plan to come back! First is the staff who are super friendly and always go our of their way to be helpful.. including: Helen on reception, Kusmi, who cleaned our room thoroughly every day with a big smile, Fotoulla who greeted us every morning with smoothies at breakfast, Carlos in the Italian restaurant, Tamara in guest relations who helped us book our restaurants, Katharina who came to ask us if we were enjoying our stay, the guys in the pool bar who prepare expert pina coladas and the lady who gives out the towels at the pool.. and all the staff in the dining room... and many more. The service is truly exceptional. Although I assume the hotel was full (high season in July) we never felt crowded and there were always places to sit and the pool never seemed overfull. The pool entertainment team were great, especially the young lady who did the daily water Zumba which was fun. The food is amazing at all meals, wide choice and well presented, and the snack bar open daily was great for a light lunch instead of the main restaurant. Our garden suite was fabulous, with all amenities, clean and comfortable. The private pool was heavenly . And the Elvis show on our last night was the icing on the cake - just superb. We felt like VIPs throughout our entire stay and loved every minute. Thanks to all the team for making our vacation so memorable.

Meticulously maintained, everything was convenient, multiple pool options, which included our own plunge pool. The beach just yards away. Property Restaurants were as good as any Michelin restaurant that I have dined at. While the Hotel is beautiful, it’s just a building without the people working there. it’s the staff that made stay personable and truly memorable. Pay the extra for Elite All Inclusive it’s worth it

Beautiful well laid out hotel and grounds. Good size never felt crowded peaceful great place to unwind and relax with the added bonus that we had the private pool which we all loved. All inclusive had a lot to offer 24/7. Given the package we had the welcome room with beverages/champagne was a nice touch, not to mention the welcome wine and the farewell champagne. We were fortunate enough to be given a late check out thanks to the manager as our flight was quite late in the evening.

The Athena is a large beech front hotel , a number of Pools and some adult only restaurants and activities. Guests are either ordinary, elite or super elite, based on their room booking , this entitles them to perks, such as elite class breakfast and roof top bars. The food is good, although some of the hot buffet items, were less than hot. The hot cook to order eggs were very popular. I would say that the food was of a good quality. The room we had was exceptional , we had a sea view and large balcony with an 1800 check out as a perk of our booking - we did have to give up our room the. Owning of departure but we’re rewarded with a fantastic room with a swim up pool. The staff are all utterly charming and multicultural, but all strive to make your stay and wonderful and fabulous as possible, from reception, the elite check in staff, to the waiters and cleaners, all were lovely . This is an expensive hotel, however, you do get what you pay for in this instance and I would highly recommend it

Fantastic massage with Liza 10/10…. So relaxing and just amazing! Best massage I have ever had. Hotel was beautiful, swim up room was fab and all staff were friendly. Very clean everywhere, food was great with lots of choice. We would definitely come back.

We stayed at this resort for 4 nights in the swim up room (upgraded by the staff :) ) What a room! Loved it! Our kids had so much fun in the pool just outside our back door, indoor (heated) pool and the outside pools. The buffet was great and had many choices. Kids club was good. All the staff were very kind and helpful. They really made our stay relaxing and fun! We took a stroll to the harbour twice during our stay. Lovely location! Overall a memorable stay!

A large group of us In Cyprus for my daughters wedding and we chose this hotel for our 2 week accommodation. Staff were lovely and helpful at all times. All areas of the hotel clean including rooms & pools. Great entertainment for children. Food: lots of choices each day which was delicious. The spa was great - I had a full head to to toe massage - ask for Sisi. (Note 1: we stayed at the hotel last May in order to do a recky, which at the time house whisky was drinkable. However things change and we had to upgrade our drinks package this time in order to have a drinkable whisky… house vodka was still ok though according to some of our group. Note 2; my daughter had a swim up room for her 2 young children- Room 1355 - we reported the day after our arrival (4th Sept) and again on the 12th that the gate from their room in to the water didn’t shut, unfortunately this still hadn’t been addressed by the time we left. Obviously very concerning when you have 2 young children. ) All in all were we happy with this hotel ? Yes!! Great for families - and the pool bar for adults only was a god send 😂

We arrived late night, very easy check in with drink welcome. Lobby / reception area/bar was very busy. Our seaview room was perfect, sandwiches Prosecco and fruit welcome gifts. Breakfast varied selection. Pool area sun beds very plentiful although rather hard no mattresses. The area round pool lovely, busy pool bar. Lots of workers keeping area tidy. Towels from little area. Lots of activities if you are wanting to join in. The poolside lunch area Stars&stripes (at night) is very canteen vibe. Was grand for ice cream, coffee and drinks. The main restaurant was fine, same type of food most days. We did try the Asia restaurant which is actually just outside the main restaurant it was very nice. Hotel very clean. Down side for me. I felt the privilege lounge was soul destroying no atmosphere and the lady that was overseeing the area was more interested in rules and making you feel uncomfortable i definitely did not enjoy the vibe she created. This area needs to be more user friendly or just lighten up! The hotel is quite far out from any type of other night life and taxis where expensive. We like to be all inclusive but like to eat out and only found one nice restaurant opposite within walking distance.

We stayed at the beginning of April just before the school holidays. It was really quiet until our last few days, we were so pleased with our stay and it was great value for money. Rooms were great and well looked after. The pool area was great, and there is a jacuzzi by the bar for adults only which is great in hot weather. There are so many sunbeds by the pool and beach, there were no early mornings to get a sunbed which is great. The animation team were great fun and didn't pressure you - shout outs to Kai, Mika, Kim and everyone! They put on a great range of activities during the day. The bar staff were great and looked after us well, although some of the common popular cocktails are on the "ultra all inclusive" which is a shame - e.g. mojitos and espresso martinis - but there is such an extensive cocktail list without paying extra still. If you love these or specific beers such as Coronas, this might be worth it for you. They do some great iced coffees and mocktails too. Food was really good - we also visited the asian a la carte and had a lovely meal (although the others weren't open yet). The snack bar near the pool was handy and we tended to eat lunch here. We would definitely return - especially out of peak season as we got a great deal.

It is a wonderful hotel, we had great time. The food, service and private pool was excellent. The restaurant manger in the beach marios was great and most welcoming perfect service .

About everything Very pleasant hotel, nice rooms, we had a private pool with garden view which increased privacy, room very clean and spacious. Staff very friendly and pampering, always on attention for any requests or needs. Beach a bit rocky with a floating pier that is a bit tricky to manage if waves are a bit high. Restaurants very good, food fresh and very tasty. A bit pricey on water bottles at dinner. I recomnend this hotel and if i may attach a note for management, you might consider slight renovations. Dvd's and usb sockets are a bit nostalgic.

This is an adults only hotel, and it shows :) Very quiet, very clean. We came to relax a little without the kids so it was a total plus. Took a suite with a private pool facing the garden. The ones facing the sea are nicer, but the cost difference was too great. The room is huge, very clean, beautifully decorated. The food is great, for all the meals (we were half board). The service is amazing, everyone is so nice! I also had a massage at the spa - highly recommended !

Recently returned from this amazing hotel. The cleanliness, friendly staff, food, entertainment and special mention to the animation team, namely, Wika, Chab, Haroon who were amazing with my son, who has SEN. They were the reason, my son enjoyed it so much. We played, mini golf, shuffleboard, darts, aqua dance, corn hole and there were a few demonstrations during our stay - cyprus coffee, brandy sour, wine tasting. The a la carte meals were delicious. The quality of the food and service were outstanding. The resort is huge. Adult only areas, swim up pool bar, grassed areas, branded spirits. In the evenings, there was entertainment, Elvis tribute was brilliant. Or the Nectar bar has a singer every night. Kids disco, karaoke. The Cyprus night with food and entertainment outdoors was really good. The staff are a credit to Athena Beach, they work so hard. If you walk out from the back of the hotel and walk left on the path, there is a lovely little church, 12 mins walk, well worth a visit. It is beautiful inside and also, the perfect sunset viewing spot.

We stayed at the beginning of the school summer holidays and so it was starting to get busy but not too bad so very relaxing. We went as a family and have a 14 and 16 year old. The interconnecting superior rooms were spacious and clean - I would recommend for families. The beds were comfy and we all slept well. The resort has a large area full of sunbeds (by the sea, on the grass, by the pool). We did not need or want to be right by the pool and there was no need to be up early to get a sunbed as they were available throughout the day which was great. The a la carte restaurants were gorgeous and offered a variety of meal options. The buffet had options for all and we did not go hungry. If you have an opportunity and it is part of your package I would recommend the adults only roof top bar - the views are amazing at sunset and the bar staff are friendly and attentive. The staff in all parts of the hotel could not have been more helpful. We went for a relaxing family holiday and definitely achieved this. I would recommend to families with teenagers as it met all our needs (the hotel does cater for younger children as well but we did not need these services).

From the moment we stepped into the Athena Beach Hotel we felt comfortable with a genuine welcome. The reception staff were excellent with Satwar, Michael and Kenny to name but three and I mustn’t forget Anna and Katerina who were the guest relations to see if there was a problem or you needed any advice. We stayed here on B and B elite basis. The sea view room was excellent and cleaned daily. The breakfasts were taken in the Leda restaurant and the staff there were great with special mention to Adriana, Melina, Geeta and of course Dona (who cooked wonderful omelettes, crepes and eggs) but they were all very good and a credit to the hotel. The pool was also excellent and was cleaned daily, there was a choice of sun beds around the pools and on the grass areas and these were nicely spaced out. The beach was rocky but there was a little jetty for you to get into the sea for a swim, the nearest sandy beach is about a 10 minute walk away.

My review is based on half board, standard room for two adults and one child. Number of quests did pick up later in the week, full could cause issues. Although the hotel was looking a little dated, particularly our room, it wasn’t at all shabby or falling to pieces. Every member of staff was very polite and friendly, all day every day. We could choose to have our paid for meal at lunch or evening in the buffet restaurant which was excellent. Very good, different choice every day, which was always fresh and hot. I would definitely return to Pathos and would be more than happy to stay here again. Great location for hoping on the bus. Listed are my pros and cons PROs - Cleanliness, all staff, food, location, grassed areas for sunbathing, simple walk to harbour, pools. CONs - Very few sun-beds around the pool and they were always taken. Hotel did try to address this. Drink service at meal times was slow, dated rooms, immediate beach area.

The staff at the hotel were lovely on arrival and throughout our stay at the hotel. Really helpful and accomodating especially with our 4month old baby. We went for bed and breakfast and the breakfast was delicious, great choice of food and tasted good. The indoor swimming pool was heated and warm to use with our baby as the outdoor pools were too cold in winter. Great sunsets at the beach area and a lovely walk along the sea to the harbour area with more restaurants. Great use of masks and sanitizers throughout the hotel during this 'covid' times and felt safe throughout our stay. A hotel we would recommend to visit if going to Paphos!

Communication was great with the owners and they were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. There was a lovely and very convenient surprise when we arrived very late at night, food supplies were provided in the fridge. House was very clean, everything we needed was available in the house and the location was fantastic. Lovely private pool at the house. A shop right round the corner, restaurants and beach a short walk. The waterpark at the top of the street. Couldn't have been better. Highly recommended!

The swimming pool and outside area was fantastic, we used the pool everyday. There was everything you need in the villa, to cook/ eat at home. Washing machine was fantastic. Also the air con made a big difference to our stay.

The property was clean throughout and set out really professionally. Pool maintenance came to the villa 3 times whilst we were there to ensure we had the best experience with the facilities on site. Beautiful balcony that was easily accessible and a very large space. ideal for relaxing and sunbathing all day if we wanted to. Shower room was beautifully decorated, for our convenience shower gel and shampoo were already in the villa. A suitable amount of towels for during our stay. Extra bedding and pillows in all rooms. As we arrived quite late, the host arranged for some food for when we arrived and for breakfast the next morning which was super kind. The host, Helen, could not have been more accommodating, kind or friendly. she made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and was happy to answer any questions we had during our stay. This villa had a real, “home, from home” feeling and my family and myself enjoyed our holiday immensely

The property is gorgeous, great location and peaceful. The property was perfectly sized for 4 adults and a teenager but would be comfortable for 6 adults easily. The pool is a decent size, great outdoor space for dining and sunbathing. The downstairs bedroom was great for my parents who have mobility problems. All ensuite and well sized. Communication was great and easy access to the property via key safe. We all enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back

Everything about this place. The host of this place is the best host I've ever dealt with. They were super kind, helpful and very responsive. The location is good - not in the busy area. Not far from hyper markets and 5 minutes walk from a big aqua park, close to the beach. The BBQ area and the pool are magnificent.

Excellent hotel with many amenities. Unfortunately as stayed in November a lot of amenities were closed. However, we really enjoyed our stay, beautiful hotel & has everything. We have a toddler & pools were great for her. Supermarket on site too. Would recommend. Staff were wonderful.

We had a great stay albeit it was only for 1 day and would love to come back. The only weird thing is our room didn’t lock? Really strange and we didn’t realise this until we were going which would have been worrying had we been there longer. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are super comfortable

First time in Cyprus so wasn’t sure what to expect. Ivi Mare - Greeted on check in with a cool towel and homemade lemonade. Quick,easy check in procedure. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, pillow menu and fully stocked mini bar which is included on all inclusive. Branded soft drinks, water, beer, topped up daily. Shower powerful and has all different settings. Turn down service every evening with water and chocolate. Food is flavoursome, and excellent quality. Themed nights plus Greek and Japanese restaurant. Large pool, proper sunbeds like sofa beds, super comfy. Towels available pool side, no limit to what you can take. Great App for pool side drinks service. I would recommend that a towel bin is put in place on way back to the main building, it may encourage guests to pop them in the bin when leaving the sunbed area. Would save the pool staff and other guests judging whether beds were still being used or not. We had a great stay here would definitely recommend that you try this hotel, you won’t be disappointed. It’s a tranquil resort, so if you want loud music and activities you may want to look elsewhere. Huge thanks to all the staff, attentive and friendly. Special shout out to Radost, Popi the omelette lady, Olga in the main restaurant and Youssef at the pool bar. Appreciate you looking after us. All in all, a wonderful experience at The Ivi Mare, will definitely be back for sure.

Excellent hotel. This is the cleanest hotel I've ever been to. It was spotless. They have an army of cleaners that do an amazing job. The rooms are a really good size have comfortable beds and pillows lovely quiet air conditioning and good showers. There is an iron, ironing board and hairdryer in every room. Also they provide body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. The hotel staff are incredible. Very very friendly, excellent service at dinner and from the bar, and they serve incredible cocktails in the mirrors bar and by the pool bar. The food is very good quality, lots of choice and freshly made. The breakfasts are fantastic and we enjoyed our coffee overlooking the pool and out to sea. The service is brilliant. Sun lounges are amazing. The Pool is huge and it's the same depth the whole way along. There is a costal path at the end of the hotel which runs into Paphos, and takes about 40 minutes to walk it. There is a bus that stops outside the hotel and goes into paphos....or for around €10 you can get a taxi. There is a small beach just outside of the hotel which is a little rocky, but there is a sandy part so it is possible to walk in. This is a very nice adults only hotel, incredibly well run and has very professional staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The transfer time from Paphos airport by taxi is 20 minutes.

Another great holiday at this lovely hotel, we have been here several times, the staff work incredibly hard to mention a few Youssef from the pool bar, Veronika who always kept our room lovely and clean and Tom, Rajan, Mohamed, Barbara, Diane, Pampos and Sofia from the Palettes restaurant and Agni in the Mirrors bar. There is always an excellent choice of food in the Palettes and the Fiki Japanese restaurant is a real treat, we did not go to the Greek so cannot comment on that. The evening entertainment is low key we enjoyed that with a range of different acts. The hotel always looks very clean if we were to point out anything it would that some of the furniture is looking a bit shabby and needs replacing which we believe is being done over the winter, some of the pool towels are looking very worn and should be replaced. We have seen some comments about noise from neighbouring hotels this is minimal and only about half hour twice a day and is obviously out of the hotels control. The pool is only heated by the sun so pick your time to come carefully, late June it is very hot but late September a lot cooler but bearable. This hotel is not very large and it is lovely and relaxing, it may not suit everyone as it is a quiet hotel so do your homework first, we will certainly be back.

Fantastic holiday at the Ivi Mare. Lived up to its high expectations and more! (We loved it so much we actually stayed at extra night!) The pool was great (massive and never too busy), along with the all the restaurants having great food, including the buffet. Also, the comfiest sun beds we have ever experienced - proper 5 star. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff - especially Youseff by the pool (although all the staff at the pool deserve a shout out!) and Mohammed in the buffet restaurant. Mohammed was really a ray of sunshine every day and making our stay extra special. I hope he gets a promotion as he was fantastic! We would definitely visit again with the price also being very competitive and will look into the other Louis Group hotels if they are held to same high standards. What this hotel does well is the little things - and it makes a massive difference to your whole experience. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday, with great service, food and weather, then you can’t go far wrong with booking the Ivi Mare!

A fantastic hotel, great pool, staff and food/drink. Pros - app to order easily by the pool and brilliant and friendly staff by the pool. Very good food and drink, one of the best AI I’ve stayed in, decent wines and cocktails. Good location 10-15 mins from airport and 30 min walk into Paphos along the coastline. Tips for improvement - poor gym, one one running machine and one set of freehold weights. More a la carte restaurants and with a better range of food, it’s a set menu so doesn’t feel as much of a treat.

The hotel is comfortable, clean and well equipped. We were in room 209 which was a big room with a great balcony with table and chairs and 2 sun beds overlooking the pool. The breakfast was great with good choices including eggs, bacon etc. The pool was spotless and extremely well maintained with absolutely loads of comfortable sun beds and chairs etc. more than enough for everyone. The bar and restaurant were lovely and again looked after with care and pride. The owners were great and so helpful, as well as the staff going the extra mile to ensure we were well cared for.

We stayed at Fitos Inn in April, during the low season. It’s a small, family-run hotel — simple but clean, quiet, and very well looked after. Our room was large, with a very big and comfortable bed, a proper bathtub (which is not easy to find in Cyprus), and a spacious balcony with chairs, a table, a bench, and soft artificial grass on the floor. There was hot water almost all the time, and one time we used the private water heater in the room — it worked well. Breakfast was included: basic but fresh — cheese, cold cuts, salad, olives, bread with a toaster, eggs, cereal, jam, coffee, tea and juice. It was enough for a good start to the day. The staff were friendly and worked hard. The owner, his family, and the team really care about the place — and you can feel it. The outdoor area is also well maintained — clean pool, flowers, shade, and even a sports area with a tennis net. It’s a great base if you have a car — only 5 minutes from Paphos. There’s nothing nearby on foot, but with a car it’s perfect. Parking is private and secure, with a gate. This is not a luxury hotel — don’t expect that. But for the price, and for the care they put into everything, it really deserves its high rating. If you come with the right expectations, you’ll enjoy it.

We needed somewhere to stay on our last day on Cyprus for about 8 hours before flying home, ideally situated near the airport. I contacted the hotel and received a response almost immediately from Kiki that they would be able to let us have a family room just for the day. We arrived at lunchtime and we’re in fact given 2 rooms for the 5 of us including my 3 year old grandson which helped considerably as he needed a sleep after lunch. There was no problem getting lunch for us all from a very impressive menu. We spent the afternoon at the poolside and towels were provided for those who wanted to swim. All the staff we met were first class and went out of their way to help make our short stay very pleasant. Kiki and her husband are wonderful hosts and like many of previous reviews say make you feel like one of the family. Driving to the airport takes about 20 mins so getting the hire car back was no problem. If we return again in the future to the Island we shall most certainly stay at the hotel for much longer. It’s great value.

The stay was comfortable, the facilities were brilliant. The pool was a great size and the sunbeds were always available alongside the towels. We had a great variety of breakfast daily and the meals we tasted in the evening were of an extremely high quality and the price of the food overall was perfect. The owner Fitos was so kind and helpful. The staff we met, especially Richa and Ellena were great and hard working. Our room was at the back overlooking the trees and hills. There were a variety of animals to visit too including peacocks, hens and rabbits! The Tennis court and table tennis were a bonus to break up your chilled visit! We thoroughly enjoyed this 6 night break. We would highly recommend this place to you all.

This is a good, well run and maintained hotel. The facilities and restaurants are pleasant. Rooms, whilst a little dated, are comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Not enough sunbeds round the pool. The major drawback is distance from the centre of Paphos. It's not really walkable. Check in. Received by Eva. Very quick and efficient. 5/5 Room. Slightly dated but very clean and comfortable. TV with UK channels. 4/5 Food. Decent and varied enough. Pool snack bar with burgers, salads etc. 3/5 Pool area. Nice pool. Not enough sunbeds around it. These are metal framed and could do with updating. 3/5 Entertainment. None that I saw. Housekeeping. Excellent. Every day my room was cleaned to a high standard. 4/5. Staff. Very helpful, efficient and friendly. 4/5. Location. A one hour walk from Paphos harbour. A bus will take you every 20 mins. 2 Euro. Only 2 or 3 places to eat within 20 minutes walk. Recommend Tea for two. The nearly bars including one nice open air cocktail bar show sports events. 1/5 Value for money. 4/5. Overall. A generous 4/5.

Really calm here, spatious pool, delicious food, very friendly staff and bartenders, there were a lot of sunbeds near the pool, so there was no trouble finding one when needed. Hotel is near the sea coast, the coast itself is a bit rocky, but water shoes are not necessary there. Very big and well-equiped gym for those interested in it. Outdoor pool works 8am-7pm

Just come back from a lovely stay at this lovely hotel.The location itself is very pretty and right on a small sandy beach.The pool itself was great and always clean.Plenty of sunbeds.The beachside cafe was great for lunch times.lovely food and a good service.I had a superior side sea view room 530 on the 5th floor.View a bit of a let down as we could only just see the sea itself,but the room was very modern with plenty of space,and a very nice bathroom.The highlight for us was the food,which was outstanding on every level.Breakfasts had everything you could need,fresh fruit,cheese,eggs and evening meals were even better,with a great choice for everybody.Reception staff were very helpful,and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard.Only thing that lets the hotel down is the neglected grass areas by the pool.Some of the areas were muddy.Taxi to Paphos harbour was 15 euros.Would stay at this hotel again but would book a superior seaview for a better view.

My children and I just spent 1 week at the aquamare and honestly can’t fault the place one bit. Management were very helpful when we needed to upgrade our room (special thanks to duty manager Valentina). The food was impeccable with a great variety every single night! Staff very friendly and helpful. The children pool was perfect and warm so my children really enjoyed playing and swimming. This was a great plus for us as some hotels we’ve stayed at in the past had cold pools so the kids were not thrilled about swimming. Location is absolutely perfect. We often took long strolls along the beach and my goodness the views are breathtaking. Only downside is the room needs a little bit of refurbishment but outside of that every single thing was perfect. We would definitely recommend and visit again.

A lot of negative reviews on here. Yes the rooms are dated and yes the grass needs a good watering every day but… the staff are so kind, especially the lady in the gift shop. Food had so much flavour, it’s a smaller selection than other hotels I’ve stayed at but the flavour was a 10/10. Pool was fab and the pool bar was perfect to have a break from the sun. Check out is at midday. Our flight wasn’t until 11pm but you get to use the spa facilities to have a shower and freshen up before your flight. I travelled as a single parent with my 8yr old daughter. I just now need to master the Donald Duck cocktail for her as that was the best drink she’s ever had!

Good hotel for weekend stop. Breakfast a bit on the cold side due to air con in restaurant and poor heat lamps. Swim up suite was excellent fun for my daughter and well recommended.

Had a great week. After upgrading to the aegean swim up room, I've got to give a huge shout out to Sunil at the swim up bar. He made my kids feel so welcome and made our experience so much more relaxed knowing that they had an extra pair of eye on them. He was a credit to the hotel, great barman and I wish him well. Excellent spacious apartment. Nice private pool and good breakfast. Didn’t like the fishing village area but we were far enough away not to be disturbed. Convenient location for our short break. Didn’t like the degrading astroturf areas around the pool with micro plastics everywhere. Coffee machine in room no good and no milk but could get drinks elsewhere no problem. Overall would recommend.

We've just returned from a fabulous 7 night holiday, staying at the swim-up suites at the Aegean village. My wife and myself stayed at room 7111 on the 1st floor and our daughter, son-in-law and our granddaughter were staying in the swim-up-suite below us. We felt like royalty, with our own swimming pool and we even had our own swim-up-bar with the best barman in Cyprus called 'SUNIL'. He was so polite, helpful and the nicest person you could ever meet. I felt like we were all one big happy family. Our room was so big and so modern. It was strange to find that bathroom walls were all made out glass. We had all modern contraptions like the lighting system etc The only down side to it all, was the building works that were on going from 7 o'clock in the morning. Machines driving about the site, shuttering works ongoing and men shouting. But we just put with it all. The food was amazing, the staff everywhere else were amazing as well. We've been to 2 other Holiday villages in Spain which were much better than this time, but we still had a great time. All in all, we all had a marvellous time and if the aeroplanes had more leg room, instead of being packed in like sardines, I would love to go back there. Obviously when the building works are complete.

We arrived on 31st Aug and was surprised how close it is to the airport, literally 20 minutes. The hotel has lots going for it, lovely staff, great clean pools, water slides brill, kids pool new and great for 2-8 year olds, the food was good quality and there was plenty of choice in the main restaurant. We had a lovely view of the beach and pool from our room (G170 👍) There was only a few gripes which was the blue carpet in the hall ways look dated and not right, the rooms could do with a tiny bit of tlc and maybe an al carte restaurant on site would be a big bonus, there plenty of room for it or the pool bar could turn into one on an evening for a few hours! We loved our holiday all in all and the coastal walk to Paphos is a must. Thank you

We had a fantastic holiday at Louis Phaethon, as a family of four, with two girls aged 4 & 6, it was just brilliant. The food, staff, entertainment we can't fault any of it. We were greeted by a very friendly team at reception, given drinks and snacks whilst we checked in. Our room was lovely and bright and airy, we had a great view of the landscape and we could also see the beach and sea. The pools were clean and well kept, with a lifeguard at each pool. Huge shout out to the lifeguards, who whilst being very professional had a great relationship with the children, they knew most of them by name and had a little fun with them when they were around the splash pool. Kareem was a firm favourite with our girls, they looked out for him everyday and he just came across as a wonderful person so thank you. The food was excellent, we never struggled to find a good meal, always a great choice of food and done to a high standard. The children's section was fantastic too. The entertainment team were just brilliant, my god did they put in the hours but they all did it with a smile on their faces. Everything was well executed and it was fun. Our girls loved the mini disco every night. Jamie and his team worked so hard and it didn't go unnoticed, thank you all. This is the first holiday we've come back from that our girls have asked if we could go again next year so that just speaks volumes.

Recently we went on our first family holiday with our 6 month old to Cyprus which was also our first time in the country (beautiful country) We had such an amazing time! It was made that much better my Ahmed amer the waiter that would greet us every morning calling you by mr and your name which was a lovely touch. He is an exceptional guy with so much talent when it comes to this type of work he made people feel special and appreciated and welcome. The hotel was beautiful with great settings along the beach wonderful pools, a food bar near the pool which food and drink was available almost all day which was a good touch. The entertainment was good in the day by the pool which we joined in with when we could. The staff inside the hotel was so polite and always catered for every need whether it was a fan in the room or just a couple of extra bottles of water they were always happy to help with a smile on their face. Food was wonderful had lots of choice but what made it so special when eating was Ahmed he was so welcoming and always made you feel like you were the most important in the room GREAT service by Ahmed once again.

A well remembered and enjoyable week at Louis Phaethon Hotel Paphos Cyprus. The rooms are very well Air Conditioned and cold considering the extreme heat that time of year. House cleaning is excellent and daily without fail. The pool areas are facilities around them are very good having daily activities for kids and adults daily. The whole staff, Bar, restaurant and pool area are very friendly and helpful bringing drinks to your seats every 10 minutes. Excellent service there. A particular thanks to Ahmed!! Wow what a man, never known anyone like him. Outstanding customer service all week from the second we arrived to the minute we left, Ahmed allways greats you with the friendliest and nicest ways never forgetting your name and even shouting your name around the pool area asking if you ok and need anything. Shall miss this guy. To the lovely ladies doing the fresh Omlettes every morning, once again just 10/10 and all the other foods during the day and night. Would definitely recommend this hotel without fail. 10/10 Best wishes to you all.

Amazing! Me and my partner have never been to Paphos before, so we weren't sure where to stay. We booked this hotel and we were not disappointed! From the lovely rooms, pools, food, and campus of the hotel, we were very impressed and loved every minute of our stay! The staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. The staff during the day at the pool kept us entertained, and all were very friendly. The multiple pools and mini water park were kept in great condition, and there was so much space around the areas we always had a seat. Food had a variety of types in the evening and usually at other hotels the quality can did, but here it was really nice every night. Our room was a perfect size for both of us to stay in and also kept in good condition. A bus also runs outside the hotel for a quick 10 minuite during up to the harbour. All round my trip for 10 nights was amazing and I'll definitely go back!

Pool area is big, clean and tidy. There is more than enough space and sunbeds for everyone. For those who prefer sea, beach is infront of hotel. Upon arrival you receive beach towel so you don't need to bring yours and you can save some more space in your bag for summer dresses and swimsuits. Also free drinks and cocktails at pool bar! 🥳 Staff is really nice and polite, glad to help. Hotel is equipped with billiard table, air hockey table, darts... you just cant get bored. Every night there are some fun events and parties organized in pool area. Breakfast is really rich and full of options. You can find variety of cypriot traditional food such as fish roe, tzatziki, olives, cheeses. Variety of bread types and buns, cereals, fresh eggs prepared infront of you (boiled, scrambled, omlete, fried), fruit, nuts, baked bean, quiche, bacons, potato, ham, pancakes, waffles.... coffee, tea, juices, yogurt, mimosa... Rooms are clean. We had room with balcony which was really great.

Hotel was not too big as others - exactly what we were looking for! There were activities and program every evening which was nice, pool activites as well, there is indoor and outdoor pool and it looks exactly like in the picture - there is sea right in front of the hotel beach chairs. I appreciated thant on the chairs we had also mattraces which is super comfortable and everyone gets a beach towel. Our room was situated on the first floor and the room for music was very close, but we didnt hear any noise at all. Free 15 min massage was offered, but we didnt have time to sign up. Great selection for breakfast - anything you can imagine, even if you have different kind of diets or allergies. Cleaning service working all day long, stuff is very nice but always busy - I guess thats the key for everything to be working :) You can walk along the hotels all the way to any side you choose - that was a nice surprise, we didnt expect it. Bus stop is almost right in front of the hotel (take a bus from the airport for only 1,50 eur), supermarket accross the street (a bit pricey). Also very nice italian restaurant close by and dont forget to try Fiesta for nice meals and drinks ! Just be aware of cats near hotels and basically everywhere, but it is not annyoing - putting it as a plus as we like cats :) And to not forget - bottle of champagne free of charge in the room + local refreshments as gift. Hospitality is fantastic from the time we reach, the staff is just so welcoming and always smiling. Room was spotless. Balcony had pool and sea view. I definitely recommend if you go with infants or toddlers, as they have an external small pool around 40 cm deep, shaded and lots of toys provided by the hotel for the kids to be entertained. We will come back once again . Thank you to the lovely staff 💙

Breakfast are ery good, a lot of choice of meals. Room was comfortable and clean, in the bathroom soap. Nice view from the balcony on the sea and pool. Pool area is good, many sunbath there is no need to wake up early to reserve. Very good staff, especially at main bar - Alina doing the best aperol spritz and margarita!
