Incredibly beautiful and peaceful property. Waterfront room with plunge pool has incredible layout and was quiet and private. Staff were all amazing. This resort is 5 Star in every way and the location, being away from the hustle and bustle of Venice but yet a short and convenient boat ride away, is absolutely perfect. Pictures do not do the views justice; amazing views from the rooftop restaurant and bar and pool. Food was excellent. I will never stay anywhere else in Venice.

Highly recommend this hotel especially in the heat of the summer!!! Our family of 5 was upgraded to a loft suite with private plunge pool (La Maisonette) which was incredible. We arrived late in the evening by water taxi to a stunning lobby. Once at our room, we ordered amazing pizza, aperol spritz and other beverages, to eat pool side, which was such a great experience. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, we went early in the morning and then took the water shuttle to San Marco and explored the sites. Never a problem getting a seat on the shuttle at any time. We would either find lunch near the square and then hop on the shuttle to return to the hotel for an afternoon swim and siesta, or return and eat lunch poolside. So nice to cool off with a shower and dress for dinner, head back on the water shuttle and explore the sites further after the crowds have left, and have a nice relaxing meal. The adult pool showcased stunning views of Venice, and we took some beautiful pictures, but given we had kids with us (ages 8, 11 and 15) we mainly were at the family pool which was spacious and perfect. Lunch by the pool was not as great as breakfast, so we only did this once. I would 100% recommend this resort, well worth the ability to escape the crowds and heat and relax while still being so close to all of the action!

It was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend if you’ve already been to Venice and stayed main part and you want to stay away from all that crowds and wants to chill! We did choose to stay because of it and it basically made us love Venice more! The hotel is in separate island only about 10-15 minutes by water taxi which we love and special things about Venice. ( or their complimentary boat ride) Once you arrive in style :) entertaining beautiful entrance of the hotel, you will feel suddenly so peaceful and feels like you’re world away from everything! Hotel has such beautiful grounds! Our room was absolutely stunning it was suites with huge private pool and deck we didn’t even bother their famous rooftop pool! Well we went to see and it’s beautiful but we loved our suite so much. One last and the most important thing was that we have two small dog with us and it was the most welcoming feeling that every staff & guests gave us we were so happy about that. Yes they charge a lot extra for dogs which I was shocked but at the end it was worth it because they had a great time!

We were a family of eight and thoroughly enjoyed the JW Marriott. The location is on a private island looking back at Venice. We loved the location as it got you out of the hustle of St. Marks. The hotel did provide a shuttle that left every 30 minutes and it would take about 15-20 minutes to get to St. Marks square. We enjoyed this and did not consider it an inconvenience. We were checked in by Matteo and immediately upgraded to their two level suites with a plunge pool. The accommodations were great and the breakfasts each morning were very well done with a lot of selections. The activities at the hotel were very plentiful with pools, bikes, sports activities, and spa facilities. All were excellent This is definitely a family hotel so the restaurant for breakfast could be very busy. We had dinner one night on the roof top of the hotel and the food was great and the view just amazing. We would highly recommend this hotel. We also want to give a huge shout out to Matteo who checked us in. He handled any issue we had with professionalism and timeliness.

We arrived late in the afternoon to the JW Marriot and were impressed immediately by the entrance. The service there was 1st class and it didnt drop at any stage. The staff at checkin were amazing, the porters were informative and polite and the room was INCREDIBLE. We were upgraded to a ocean front 2 level apartment with its own plunge pool. For 2 people it was huge and made the morning rush with 2 bathrooms a lot easier. Breakfast was terrific with the usual selection of foods and you could always find a table. The shuttle back to Venice made daily travel easy with services running every 30 minutes, we never had an issue getting a seat. The hotel even run a shuttle for travellers leaving Venice via train, with services leaving the hotel daily until 11 am. Overall, I couldnt recommend the JW Marriot enough. We cant wait to get back there but will definately allow a few more days to enjoy the facilities and tranquility.

I recently had an exceptional stay at one of the best hotels in Venice. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that this hotel excelled in every aspect. The staff truly deserves special recognition for their exceptional service. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive assistance throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to cater to my needs made me feel like a valued guest. The hotel's design was another standout feature. The attention to detail in the decor, furnishings, and overall ambiance was evident. The blend of modern elegance with traditional Venetian elements created a captivating and inviting atmosphere. After a day of exploration, returning to the hotel and relaxing in such a beautifully designed space was a true pleasure. Furthermore, the amenities provided were top-notch. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a luxurious stay. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impeccable, ensuring a pleasant and relaxing environment. One particular highlight was the amazing breakfast view of the canal. Enjoying a delicious breakfast while overlooking the beautiful waterway added an extra level of charm and tranquility to my mornings. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice. It promises a memorable and delightful stay that exceeds expectations.

Gorgeous hotel. Perfect location. Rooms are brand new as the hotel itself is new, and the design and amenities are perfection. The beds are so comfortable, rooms are quiet, bathrooms are beautiful, modern and large (for an Italian hotel in a historical building), property is immaculately kept and the design blends traditional Venetian with chic modern (think Fortuny lamps, Venetian silks and fabrics, and travertine mixed with contemporary fixtures and modern art). The restaurant and it’s location right on the canal has the most incredible view and makes you feel like you are in a movie. Not only is the hotel the perfect blend of modern comfort and luxury meets old world Venetian charm, but the staff is the BEST. Some of the best customer service I’ve experienced at a hotel in years. Every member of staff we came into contact with was friendly, warm, helpful, and went above and beyond. Special shout out to Valentina who made sure we were always happy and any/all needs or requests we had were considered. My husband’s birthday was during our stay and the team sent us a lovely note and a birthday treat for him - so thoughtful! I highly recommend this property for anyone planning a visit to Venice. We will definitely come back!

Just wow.. staying in Venice Venice Hotel is one of the absolute best hospitality experiences of our life. It was like this cosy sophisticated and seductive place was competing with the Venice itself. It was honestly hard to leave it to go see Venice! We ended up having our breakfast (on a cute private deck on the Grand Canal), 'aperitivos' and dinners in the hotel the whole stay. Our mesmerising room took our breath away when we walked in. It overlooked the canal with a private balcony... every detail in our space was meticulously studied and encompassed the very essence of refined, contemporary aesthetics. We were surrounded by subtle art and unique design. The service was luxurious.. every person of staff we came in contact with emanated readiness to help, good naturedness, responsibility, enthusiasm and warmth. We were taken care of from the beginning till the very last moment with an exceptional care that made us feel like we were or the most important guests, or.. their only guests. Now THAT is what true luxury feels like.

The staff were amazing we met Claudia by accident on the water taxi. She saved us by staying with us and calling her colleague to help us walk our luggage to the hotel especially over the bridge. When we wanted a quick drink before our dinner reservation by the canal they would not let us in at 7:20pm despite us wanting just one quick drink before our dinner reservation (outside of the hotel). We were told the tables were "getting ready" for dinner although they were all cleaned and ready. Those table sat empty and they could have sat people in there for quick drinks by the water. Again, Claudia saved us and called the restaurant and got us a table close to the water. We were gone before our reservation at 8:00pm and were able to enjoy a drink by the water. Many details in the room we enjoyed like the coffee being set up for the next morning, the products, the shower, just many of the details that are often over looked.

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I cant wait to go back. They made the entire hotel such an experience and it made me love Venice more than I ever thought that I could. Breakfast every morning and dinner on the grand canal was our favorite part of all of Venice, and I've never been so relaxed in a hotel. They set up someone to meet us at the train station and we arrived by water taxi, which felt like something out of a movie. They also have complimentary service to take you to Murano / Burano if you would like, which we didnt have time to take advantage of (you just have to pay for the taxi back to the hotel from Burano). The entire mini bar is included in the stay, including alcohol. The shower, the shampoo, the hair mask, the music in the rooms, the turndown service, the staff, the location, the food. You must stay here, just book it. Its worth the price.

Location was perfect, on the whole; staff exceptionally attentive, especially upon arrival. Warm welcome, and made to feel like old friends rather than another hotel guest. Intuitive customer service, and nothing too much trouble. Ambience relaxed luxury :-) Location and views; hotel Cipriani boat service a fabulous service to have at your disposal! Cip's club restaurant lovely, again we were very well looked after there. Relaxed atmosphere and the Sea Bass was one of the best I've tasted. All in all a very special place that we enjoyed immensely to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were also kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite with terrace/ direct pool access, which would be fantastic in the warmer months, very much feels like a resort hotel. It was lovely in March, but it will give us good reason to return in summer!!

Wonderful property, we stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms and it was beyond beautiful. Bathroom details were amazing and the products they give for use are great! Loved the saltwater pool, amazing pool bar service; dining at Cip’s for dinner was divine and has a great view of the sunset. Great breakfast offerings. Impressive how they have falconers patrolling the dining areas with hawks, to keep the pigeons from bothering by the diners. A pricey stay but SO special.

We love this landmark hotel. It is an institution in Venice and we don't think anywhere compares to it. It is five minutes and a world away from the heat and hustle of the main island which means seeing the sites of the city couldn't be easier but when you want some downtime you can stay by the hotel's beautiful pool to relax and keep cool. The Dior pop up cocktail bar overlooking St Mark's Square is the perfect spot for a sundowner and the Cips restaurant serves the most delicious food on the lagoon's edge with Venice as a backdrop. The staff are super friendly and efficient. The concierge team were extremely helpful and organised. However........ the interiors of the rooms are tired and dated. The housekeeping team keep them spotlessly clean and there are comfy beds and beautiful linen but the rest of the renovations planned for this year can't come soon enough. However, don't let this put you off. it is still the bee's knees!

Arriving at the Cipriani always puts a smile on my face and a spring in my step. The property is stunning, nestled in lush gardens with views out the Lagoon and to St. Mark's Square. When the temperatures rise and the city gets busy, this is where you go to hide from it all, yet never farther than a gorgeous 10 minute board ride from Harry's Bar. The staff are absolutely amazing. Anything is possible, and we felt they were there to look after us and make us feel special. The breakfast is one of my favourites in the word. The heated saltwater pool with a view of St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace is just beyond. Definitely worth splurging and booking a suite with a roof terrace. You will never regret this! Save time for a walk in the gardens, and remember they have tennis courts!

Hotel Cipriani is a beautiful oasis on the edge of an amazing vibrant Venice. The private boat that takes you to St Marks within 5 minutes is truly fantastic more importantly it takes back to this little sanctuary after a long day or night in central Venice. However what makes this hotel is the staff from housekeeping to front of house everyone was so friendly and efficient. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, if you are going to Venice and want a hotel with amazing views and its own swimming pool you will do well to find somewhere superior.

The staff were really respectful and helpful, regardless of what we needed they helped us out. They spoke a variety of languages which was helpful for my parents that speak only Romanian. The place was clean and the breakfast had a good variety of food, fruits, vegetables and beverages. Dogs were allowed everywhere on the property , obviously they can’t use the pool, but they can sit outside on the tanning bed with you or while eating on the terrace. Also a dog beach is available in a 10 min. walk. The access to the beach is right from the hotel pool, literally not even a minute away.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, isolated from the noise from the main promenade. This hotel does not deserve such negative comments previously. Everything is very clean and tidy, the rooms are cleaned every day and clean towels and bed linen are always at your disposal. The staff consists of really young people and they do their job well, they are always at your disposal (of course everyone needs experience). The food is excellent, breakfast is varied, lunch and dinner are also available to choose from. The area around the pool is clean and tidy, and there is also a bar for refreshments throughout the day. All in all, you will not go wrong if you choose this hotel.

Приветливый персонал, своевременная уборка номера. Пожелания: разнообразить завтраки, добавить, например кашу, сменить сорт кофе (мягко говоря оставляет желать лучшего), оснастить балконы раскладными сушилками для одежды.

A truly exceptional hotel! Spotlessly clean, with the warmest and kindest staff you could imagine. Perfect location, just steps away from the sea. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding, and the staff’s kindness was beyond words. Dinner wasn’t just food — it was a work of art.

The villa feels secluded but is 10 minutes drive from the beach and right next door to Jesolo and a shopping mall. The property has all the facilities you need (football ground/tennis court/swimming pool/air con) but has been beautifully restored retaining original features.

We had a wonderful time in Villa Tania. ✨ Amazing renovated old family villa, huge cozy spaces, nice and calm location. I would definitely recommend to any group or family who wants to spend quality time together. Our personal favourite is the tennis court 🎾 The host, Tania is very kind and helpful. 🙏

An amazing place that exceeded our expectations! We stayed here with 7 adults and 5 children celebrating my fathers 80th birthday. The house is very beautiful and the pool and garden are very big. The rooms are spacious and clean, beds comfortable and the AC works. The tennis/ football turf was frequently used and with outdoor lightning/spotlights it was also possible to use after dusk. Cooking facilities and BBQ were excellent. Stefano the host was always available and helpful. A special thanks to Massimo who did a really good job looking after us! Wonderful place - highly recommended

The house was very large. The pool was great, and the tennis court was in very good condition.

The garden and the pool area were very large and beautiful and quiet. The poll is very large and there are many places to rest. The three rooms in the old wing ground floor are very small for two persons and the bed is also small. We were transferred to the first floor with a much better room.Breakfast was very nice. The staff is exceptional friendly. The only thing to criticize was the cleanliness of the pool. While the surroundings and the water itself were very clean, the walls of the pool are in need of cleaning, there was a brown layer on the tiles which can easily be removed.

The hotel was lovely & clean & the pool was great. The whole team were great with a special mention to the pool girl Mireya, she was fabulous & very friendly & looked after us so well. Also to Chef Fabio, his food is the best we have ever eaten!! He explained how he made the dishes we chose & was also so friendly. They a both a huge credit to your hotel & we won’t hesitate to recommend you

They have really good restaurant here, also the hotel itself has aura looking nice and cosy, Good pool area would provide a pleasant stay in hot days. We were staying in the Autumn so the weather was already mild, so the pool season is over, however we still used it at least once:)

The sweetest girl worked at the pool bar. Shout out to her! We loved the pool area. The breakfast was good but we would like to have some more cheeses. Parmesan for you example.

The property was lovely 😊 very clean was a perfect little spot lovely swimming pool ! The swimming pool didn’t have many snack options at all and the evening restaurant is open between 7-10 so if you hungry you have to go the local town , the local town is picturesque just beautiful, but eating out there is very limited and Sunday absolutely no where is open ! The hotel could definitely offer more snacks during the day ! The breakfast was small options but very nice to be fair if you just want a light breakfast for me it was great ! All in all we had a nice stay but do think that hotel should definitely offer more day time snacks ! If I was in Italy again I would definitely stay again :-)

Location was amazing, lively corner with all you need arround. Lovely walking distance, 15mins till St. Mark, which we preferred, rather than using boat busses. Lots to see on the way. An extra point to the splendid, well heated pool that we used every day in between our wondering arround Venice. Our 7 year old was thrilled by it! And to mention also the evening bar by the pool, so cosy .Very pleasant stuff as well. We would definitely visit again, thank you!

Walk back in time to one of the oldest hotels in Venice. The staff was wonderful and super helpful. Make sure to ask them restaurant recommendations, because wow. The one they recommended was AMAZING. Our room was clean and stocked with amenities. The bed was comfy after a long flight. The pool was greatly appreciated after a long hot day- although it sucked you only got 30 minutes a day to use it (they are very strict) And the included breakfast was amazing. Tons of options! The hotel is situated close to shopping and about 10 minutes from the Rialto bridge. We will definitely return to this hotel :)

The water taxi we hired from the train station dropped us off at the nearest location to the hotel and it was a short, straight walk down the street to the hotel. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. It's a short walk to the Ca' D'Oro ACTV Water Bus stand. The hotel offers a free taxi and a glass-blowing experience on Murano. The taxi takes you right to the glass-blowing facility. The best thing was the heated pool with a waterfall and water jets, which is an excellent way to relax after a long day of walking around Venice.

Fantastic hotel. Perfect location- few minutes to Rialto yet very quiet, off the beaten track. Also easy to get to/from airport (catch alilaguna ferry to Fondamenta Nove for EUR 15 and walk 7-10mins). Friendly staff, especially at breakfast (shoutout to Albert!) and reception. Nice courtyard with hot tub/pool- but be aware that kids only allowed in 11am-2pm. Junior Suite big enough for us as a couple with 1 kid- not lots of unpacking space/drawers/hooks, but not surprising for central Venice. Still can’t quite believe how many boxes this ticked for such a reasonable price. Highly recommend

We stayed at Hotel Giorgione for two nights in a classic room. The room and shower room were small but all we needed. The hotel was traditionally decorated and felt like we were in a historic building. Breakfast was good and eating outside was great. We didn’t use the pool but the whole area looked clean and well maintained. The hotel was located at the end of the main shopping area and within ten minutes of the Rialto bridge. The check in process took a long time although staff were pleasant. Bed was comfortable.

Super hyggelig campingplads med styr på tingene. Rigtig fine faciliteter og masser af tilbud for børn og unge. Stor poolområde med flere pools til både store og små. Hyggelige bungalows med alt hvad der skulle være og smilende og serviceminded personale.

Tolle Ferienanlage . Es gibt Mega viele Aktivitäten für Kinder. Die Animation ist auch super nicht zu viel. Die Häuser sind super eingerichtet und sauber . Als einziges Manko die Pools könnten sauberer sein die Kinder Pools waren voll mit Sand. Ach ja die Mücken die da unterwegs sind, sind auch eine andere Nummer , denkt an ganz viel Mückenspray Wir würden trotzdem wieder kommen.

Check-In / Check-Out: Reibungslos und mit kurzer Wartezeit Mitarbeiter vor Ort: Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Unterkunft: für das alter noch in einem sehr guten Zustand, wir haben es auch sauber vorgefunden und natürlich wieder verlassen. Die Wege in der Anlage sind ansprechend angelegt, mit Hilfe vom Parkplan, findet man sich auch super zurecht. Die Poolanlage ist sauber und bietet für jedes Alter ein passendes Becken. Das Highlight bei unseren Kinder, waren die Rutschen. Der Strand, der direkt von der Anlage erreichbar ist, war zu unserer Zeit sehr sauber. Dieser wurde auch jeden Abend berreinigt.

Boede i helt ny de luxe mobilhome og det var virkelig lækkert. Poolområde og pladsen generelt meget flot men pladsen er så stor at hyggen går lidt tabt. Stranden fornuftig men ikke helt som lidoen længere mod nord. Fint supermarked så man ikke behøver at køre. Største minus er at det ligger øde og vi var plaget af myg om aftenen.

stayed for 4 days whilst visiting Venice. Hotel was clean and comfortable. easy access to main island by regular bus and waterbus services. Pool access was very welcome after a long hot day exploring Venice.

So glad I chose this hotel for our July break. The public transport (bus and boat) into the centre of Venice is quick and easy but it is also great to be able to escape the crowds and the heat in the middle of the day back at the hotel. The pool is very large and the air conditioning in the buildings is very effective and we slept extremely well despite the heat wave. The breakfast set us up well for the day, and in the evening there are plenty of restaurants on Lido or it is easy to go back over to the centre to eat. Highly recommended (but be sure to chose the room rate with pool access if you want to use it).

Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant on arrival - and throughout our visit. Grounds were quite extensive and general facilities were well organised to provide a nice relaxed environment. The swimming pool was rarely crowded, even during peak hours. The bar by the swimming pool was open for light refreshments for most of the day and full meals in the evenings. Breakfast was well stocked every morning and provided a decent choice of items - although coffee machines could be improved. Rooms were cleaned every day and new bed linen and towels were provided. Rooms could do with independent tea/coffee making facilities. We found the location very convenient. After buying a travel card for a week, we found that getting to various places in Venice was quite straightforward due to regular and frequent buses and water transport - which seemed to run 24/7. After the hustle and bustle of Venice, it was nice to return to the peace and tranquility of the hotel and enjoy a coffee at the bar while the children played in the pool.

Staff very helpful, hotel was very clean. It was exactly as we had read about it. Others complain about things that are clearly stated on the website and booking sites. We wanted a few days to lie by the pool after a busy cruise from Venice so it was perfect. Breakfast was beautiful, we bought lunch from pool bar and then got the convenient bus to Lido town for dinner in the evening. €1.50 each, one way. Lots of Sun loungers around a very clean pool which wasn’t very busy. Lots used the beaches on the island but we didn’t. Could have got the bus to the town and the water taxi over to Venice each day, lots of travel packages for buses and trains etc. Would recommend this hotel!

Great place to relax after two weeks of holidays. Breakfast was awesome! Pool was large and great pool deck with lounge chairs. Room was clean and spacious for my family of four.

The staff including Vincenza and Barbara go above and beyond and treat you like a friend. Nothing is too much trouble. Vincenza emailed us all the options of how to arrive and arranged this for us. She called us in the airport arrivals to let us know a change in pier for picking up the boat. We were given really good directions for attractions and Barbara even telephoned one to help arrange this. Vincenzo booked our dinner reservation. A gentleman on the desk knew who we were and greeted us by name and knew our room number and carried our bags out to the water taxi. When we left the hotel, we took a water taxi to the port to pick up our ship, my husband left his phone on the water taxi. I telephoned the hotel and Barbara arranged extremely quickly for the boat driver to come back to the port, I thought, an impossible task for her to find him in Venice. Barbara then telephoned me to check we had received the phone. We were so grateful. The hotel was beautiful, room spacious and you could not hear any outside noise in the room or hotel. The hotel is situated right on the water but just off the grand canal. The location is perfect. It was a the best start to our holiday. We highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Moresco was fantastic. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Our bags were whisked up to our room and we were offered a welcome beverage while they checked us in. Once we made it to our room, we were very pleased. The hotel has temperature control, lovely furnishings, and very comfortable beds. Water is complimentary and there’s a stocked mini bar. The bathroom had great lighting and the shower was very nice. There were plenty of outlets including one on either side of the bed. The bed had two pillows per person which is a must have for me! The location was very convenient to access from the train station and the plaza where you can grab the bus to the airport. It is slightly separated from what I’d consider “downtown” but still very easy to get to the grand canal in about 15-20 mins walking. They also offer complimentary apertivo snacks starting at 6:30pm every night, and you can order a cocktail and relax in their lounge area. Also, the breakfast was fantastic, they serve eggs to order, great cappuccinos, and a variety of fruits, yogurts, meats and cheeses, and bread/pastries. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice!

Just returned from visiting the lovely city of Venice. We stayed at the Moresco and we cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel is ideally located to explore both the many sights and locations the city is famous for as well as an abundance of wonderful restaurants and cafes to visit to simply watch the world go by. We arrived at the Marco Polo airport and transferred to Venice by local bus. It only takes about 20 minutes to the Piazzale Roma bus station and the hotel is then about a 5 minute walk away. The hotel staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing seems too much trouble for them and they are very good at their jobs. Breakfast each morning was brilliant with so much choice and it was great to get back each evening after a long day of sightseeing to relax and enjoy the local wines in the comfort of the bar. The wonderful team on reception were happy to share recommendations and advise on places to eat or visit and help with any arrangements you needed. The bedrooms are stunning with comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, a safe, coffee machine and wide screen tv. You just have to visit Venice and you have to stay at the lovely hotel

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of May and really loved it. It's located away from the centre of everything in Venice (25 minute walk to San Marco square) which affords it a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredible - so warm and welcoming, offering us a complimentary drink and pastry on arrival. They were available 24/7 at reception, should anything arise for their guests and we saw them interact with many guests in a helpful and professional way. We had some drinks in the garden area one of the afternoons and they were delicious (limoncello spritz and peach Bellini)! The breakfast was good with many options available, staff offered tea/coffees and eggs from the kitchen with everything else self-service - fruit, yoghurt, cereals, juices, pastries, cold meats, cheeses and breads. They were really good with allergies, my partner has a severe nut allergy and they advised us well. The bedroom was old fashioned but charming, with everything maintained well. Bed was super comfortable, there was air conditioning and the shower was fabulous! Lots of charging points in the room with micro-USB ports, which was so convenient. Bathrobes and slippers were provided on arrival. Would highly recommend!

We saw the great rating and jumped at the chance to stay here. When our train pulled into Venice it was pouring and by the time we got to the hotel (less than a 10 min walk) we were pretty soaked. But as soon as we walked in we forgot all about it. They took our passports and directed us to the lounge for a welcome drink and some pastries, and encouraged us to take our time while they checked us in. When we finally finished they accompanied us to our room where we found our bags waiting for us and they had even taken our jackets and hung them to dry. The service is friendly, the room is comfortable and the details are like this the whole stay. They have a nightly happy hour in the lounge where if you order a drink you can help yourself to finger foods, little sandwiches, salames etc. Beyond that the hotel is very classically decorated and has a nice garden. It’s close to the train and the Piazzale Roma (for buses and water taxis) but walkable to the main sights. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely hotel - staff were very friendly and were happy to answer any questions. Hotel was nice and modern but still with quaint Venetian style. Great location near to San Marco piazza, about 5 mins walk. Room was lovely - we had the one right at the top with a sky light where you can see the tower and across all the red rooftops - beautiful! Bed comfy (although it was two singles pushed together, but that’s quite common for Europe!) and bathroom newly refurbished with a nice powerful rain head shower. Hairdryer provided in room, and although there was no kettle, they brought one up for us when we asked. Breakfast served in small lobby area, which doesn’t really have enough room for all guests but you can choose to have breakfast brought to your room for no extra cost. Breakfast had a nice selection of bread, pastries, cereals, ham, cheese, etc as well as juice and hot drinks. Thanks for a great stay - would definitely recommend to friends visiting Venice!

This was the 3rd leg & hotel on our trip, from Milan, Bellagio & then to here, Relais Venizia which was easily the best hotel, (taking into consideration that the first two were 4star hotels). Frederico, Elena & Leonardo were VERY welcoming, friendly & very professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them to accommodate our needs. I accommodated the two rooms suite for my friend & myself which was exclusive from the other rooms, which gave us complete privacy. The breakfast area is furnished beautifully & does not resemble a dining area at all, it is that comfortable.The hotel is sited adjacent to the canal with the gondoliers & water taxis passing continuously, is a sight to behold. In the other direction via the little alleyways are the Restarants, gelato parlours, shops, Marco Polo Piazza etc. I would have scored this hotel 11/12 out of 10 if it were possible &.would recommend if you want genuinely lovely welcoming people that make your stay as comfortable as possible,then this is the Venzia hotel for you.

We had a fabulous stay in this well appointed, clean and spacious hotel, 5 minutes from San Marco. We stayed with our two sons (18 & 20), in two rooms. We had excellent pre stay instructions including details of how to get there by both public and private transport. And everyone was so helpful with recommendations of what to see and do and where to eat. The breakfasts are excellent. You chose what you want the night before and the wonderful Elena serves everything beautifully. The rooms are big by Venice standards, modern and spotlessly clean. But it’s the staff that make this the best place we have ever stayed in Venice (and maybe Italy) Leonardo is a wonderful host who understands the highest standards of customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. We left a set of AirPods in our room and they were sent by fedex the next day! We are going back!

Arrived to a Lovely warm welcome at Relais Venezia. The hotel is situated less than 5mins walk from st marks square and less than 10mins away from Rialto Bridge. Pretty much perfect location for us. It wasn't loud at night either(but this was January can't speak for the summer months). Upon arrival the host gave us some great restaurant recommendations. The room we had was exactly like the pictures and very clean.The bed was quite firm but we slept very well on it. Not much choice on TV just the usual bbc world and cnn. Breakfast is adequate fresh croissants and coffee/tea. We had a lovely stay at the Relais Venezia and would strongly recommend it. Between the hotel and the square is a brilliant fresh pasta takeaway called 'dal moro's' great for a quick lunch you can miss it this is always a que outside.

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the main sights of Venice. It is tucked away in one of the many narrow streets-alleyways between the Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square. We stayed in a room at the top of the hotel ( it is only 2floors) which had lovely views over the rooftops. The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed the air-conditioning! Breakfast was great and prepared freshly for us each morning by the lovely Elena. The host, Frederico made our stay - he was welcoming, friendly and very helpful with recommendations for visits and getting about the city. Nothing was too much trouble; our flight home was early so he arranged some breakfast in our room which was beautifully presented on a tray and in the mini fridge. He also arranged a water taxi to take us to the airport.

We had a fantastic experience at the Santa Croce Boutique Hotel. There were a slew of highlights: 1. The reception staff was A+. Friendly, thorough, patient, and kind. Guided us well without ever making us feel any question was too simple for them. Special kudos to Matteo who greeted us on a late evening arrival and helped us several times. We also met the hotel manager who was a pro and very courteous. 2. The breakfast team was A++. They were service-oriented, smiled and asked what we needed, prepared delicious made to order eggs and variety of coffees without complaint, and generally left us feeling very pampered. 3. The location is ideal - we took the Alilaguna to San Stae and walked in the night (about 12 mins) no problems. The hotel itself is in a very quiet almost residential area. Pharmacy, supermarket and all very close by. It was away from the bustle of Rialto yet only a 15 min walk to the Rialto, Dorsadero, and every place. The vaporetto stop for exploring is Riva di Biasio which is about a couple of hundred meters away. 4. The hotel has a lovely protected garden with comfortable chairs and tables. Great for the breakfast and for just lounging between explorations. 5. The room was fine. It was not huge by US standards but had a (no charge) minibar, good AC, and a very comfortable bed. We travel a LOT so I feel we have some judgement on hotels :_) This one was well above expectations for us. 5-star treatment and location.

Absolutely fantastic. We generally don’t post about our stays but in this instance I think the hotel deserves it. We had a junior suite and a double room for four of us. It being a relatively new hotel, room and set-up is very good. But what compelled us to write the review is the level of service we received at the hotel. There was an incident during the first night of our stay there. It was purely due to the night porter’s somewhat lack of English. But the way Ricardo, Roberto and the manager Paolo handled it the next morning was exceptional. I can’t fault that. One of our highlights in Venice was sitting at the front concourse of the hotel sipping a fabulous cocktail made up by Mattio, the in-house mixologist there. As our flight was late in the evening they were very happy to allow us to sit in the lobby and provided us with all kinds of assistance. Over the years. we have been fortunate enough to stay in some of the big name hotels in Europe and North Africa, I will say the personal touch and level of service this hotel provided is up to that standard. It was like the exact correct level of service without getting overbearing. All the restaurant recommendations provided were brilliant, all the tours they arranged for us were very good and value for money. I don’t know when I will go back to Venice again, but when I go, I know where I will stay.

This hotel was the 3rd destination for us in our recent vacation to celebrate my brother-in-law's 50th birthday. It was the perfect way to end our 10 days in Italy! We arrived via the train and with the assistance of a porter, arrived to the hotel in the early afternoon. The staff were really wonderful on our arrival, carrying our luggage to our room. We were welcomed with unexpected but delightful bottles of Prosecco. It was an excellent touch and underscored how well we'd be treated. Throughout our stay, we were treated very well by the staff. They knew our names on our arrival, welcoming us into the hotel. The bar staff, Simone, also treated us one evening to his own take on the local Spritz (which was truly the best we had while in Italy). Everyone was wonderful and we cannot say enough positive about the staff. The rooms were small but not cramped in any way. We did not come to Venice to stay in the room so we have no complaints. The bed and other accomodations were very nice, comfortable and we slept very well. When we checked out, the staff carried our luggage to the local water taxi stand and helped us get to the airport at an appropriate time. This small boutique hotel was perfect. Simone, again, was truly wonderful...but the entire staff were the best of the hotels we stayed in. Would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

My wife and I stopped in Venice on our honeymoon and we both loved this hotel. Everyone was so nice and helpful. From the moment we walked in to check in to the moment we left, everyone seemed they genuinely wanted to help with anything they could. We enjoyed the food they offered for dinner and the service. So much so, we had dinner twice there. They also offered to make any reservations we wanted at any restaurant but we didn't take advantage of that. They helped with any questions we had regarding things to see in Venice. We needed to go to the airport once we checked out and they booked us a private boat direct to the airport which was a fun experience and very convenient. The location was ideal for us. Some may want to be closer to the Rialto bridge and shopping (it was about a 15 min walk) but we didn't want to deal with noise etc. It was also close to the train station. We would like to visit Venice again and I can confidently say, we will come back. I wish I could recall everyone's name that helped us so that I could name them individually. Stay here if you want a great stay.

We booked the Santa Croce Boutique Hotel on the basis of other positive TA reviews and the location and were not disappointed. We had an absolutely wonderful 4-night stay in this charming Venetian hotel, and while the accommodations were wonderful - we booked the Suite, room 108 - it was the staff that really made our stay. We were greeted by Martina and Roberto (front-desk Roberto, not to be confused with barman Roberto) and they were both unfailingly polite and helpful. Barman Roberto furthered our experience that evening with some fantastic libations for aperitivos, followed by local amaros and fantastic espresso for our nightcaps (as well as tips on sites less traveled, including the Chiesa si San Pantalon. Here he told us we would find artwork on the ceiling, the "Martyrdom and Glory of Saint Pantaleon" which appears to be one giant frescoe but is actually comprised of 40 canvases joined together, and is considered the largest in the world). We enjoyed meeting Franco and the Resident Manager, Paolo. We unfortunately did not get everyone's name, but the staff serves a very nice breakfast and greeted us very warmly each day. If we could give the Santa Croce Boutique Hotel and its staff 6 stars we would!
