Great location, good for getting to places like to Valletta ferry and down to the promenade. Many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. A bolt can pick you up and drop you off right to the front door. The terrace and beach club were great with an infinity pool at each, the terrace pool was only waist deep, but the beach club pool was reasonably deep and amazing views at both. The beach club is right on the sea front. Even when the waves were big and splashing at the beach club we were still able to use the pool which was great too! Staff were friendly and helpful and accommodative when needed. The concept of not having room keys was great and worked very well too. We had breakfast included and there was a great variety and it was good to know we had that there to start the day. In our second room on the 10th floor we had a lovely view from our balcony.

Stayed here in Sept for 5 nights, we wanted a modern hotel with a nice pool well located to explore - very pleased with our choice. Our room & en suite was small but that was fine as we spent little time there. We spent a couple of days at the beach club - nice chilled vibe with comfy beds, lovely infinity pool & a good menu for brunch & meals in the restaurant. Club was 5 walk from hotel so easy to get to - we didn’t try the rooftop pool area as this needed pre booking & when we looked there was no availability. Hotel staff were really friendly, & location was about 10-15 min walk from Sliema bars & restaurants - though mostly down hill on way out, is a steep walk uphill on return so maybe a challenge for those less abled. We didn’t take the hotel breakfast or use the spa, but still enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Hotel and great staff. Nice size standard room. Small balcony but didn’t use much and a bit overlooked but not an issue to us. Great breakfast selection with both British and continental. Excellent cocktails especially the Pina Colada’s. Super friendly bar man! They also have a happy hour 2-1 cocktails most evenings. Lovely roof top pool with loungers and gazebos but has to be booked in Advance. Best part for us was the beach club a short walk down the street. Wonderful pool! Plenty of loungers. Not too overcrowded. Even had steps at the side of the pool into the sea so you could take a dip. Beach club - No cost to hotel guests apart from food and drink but reasonable prices and v good food. Beach towels available. Overall great holiday and would go back again. Thank you 1926.

We loved everything about this hotel spa resort . So clean and pristine . The staff is so kind and very friendly . Front desk Paolo, Juan , Justin and everyone else were so exceptional . The breakfast was so delicious and not expensive for what you get . So zen and incredible . Drinks and food is super amazing . Housekeeping was incredible . Felt like royalty . We loved the upper rooftop pool . So comfy and relaxing . The beach club pool was fabulous. We loved the spa and went everyday . The steam , dry sauna and the pool was so relaxing . We also had massages . Millijana Pavlovic was fantastic . By far the best massage I ever had . I would definitely recommend this hotel spa resort so luxurious and extremely well located . Thank you for such an exceptional vacation . One I will never forget . A+++

What an exceptional hotel. This should definitely be a 5* hotel. From the moment we arrived we just knew this was going to be special. Cold water on arrival. Check in with Francesca was quick and easy with everything explained. No room key, access to room is keypad which is a great idea. The room (Premium suite) was simply stunning, bright, spacious and relaxing. Incredible views of the sea from the balcony. Every single member of the hotel staff were so friendly, attentive and would do anything they could for you, even making sure you had cool water in your room fridge. Rooftop pool was amazing, although getting into warm water for a swim was a little shock (it’s heated only by the sun). You don’t have to leave your sun bed for drinks or food, simply scan the code on your table to order and it arrives. The beach club/infinity pool is not attached to the hotel, it’s across the road off the promenade. It too is stunning, cold and refreshing with unbelievable views across the sea. Spent many hours in the water watching the cruise ships coming in and out. Again, staff here were amazing, attentive and very friendly. I have booked to come back already.

The location is ideal for travel in and ouf of Valletta, with the ferry terminal and bus stops with multiple bus routes into Valletta within a 10 minute walk. There are lots of bars, shops and food establishments along the promenade which we didnt make use of, but were reassured to know were an option if we desired. Reception staff were very friendly and had great information and tips about sights to see around Malta. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had lots of added amenities! The facilities were also great.. Made use of the gym, sauna and indoor pool during our stay, and all were very clean and relaxing. Breakfast could be busy around 9am, but the staff were very quick to turn over tables and do their best to accommodate everyone. The choice and quality of food was also excellent. I would definitely recommend staying at Verdi :)

- staff: very nice and friendly, well welcomed, tried to help in every situation - breakfast: standard european (sausages, bacon, bread, vegetables, eggs); some days they added traditional Maltese pastries. there is also fruit, cereals, coffee, tea, juices etc. - room: very cool spacious terrace in the Deluxe room (I was on the 10th floor), the room is clean and tidy. there is air conditioning that works both heating and cooling - location: very convenient, a couple of minutes from the bus stop, there are cafes and restaurants nearby - other facilities: there is also a swimming pool and a gym, but unfortunately I didn't have time to visit them. also i liked complementary bottles of water

Great location on the main promenade. 3 min walk to the bus stop and under 10min walk to the Valletta ferry. Hotel was well kept, the rooms were modern. Shower gel, moisturiser ect provided in room. Defo stretch to getting a sea view if you can, the views over the harbour are lovely. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and 1 day i had an early boat trip and they gave me a bag to go with fruit and pastries. Rooftop pool was lovely, small but didnt get too busy. Gym was well equipped

We stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of Oct. Our room was on the 10th floor, with a side view, overlooking the pool of the building next door. Very comfortable chairs on the balcony, wish I had some for my own garden! The bed was comfy and there's a fab shower. We found the reception staff to be friendly and helpful - and we really appreciated the anniversary bottle of wine and card, thank you. The hotel is in a great location for dinner options, all the boat trips (including boat to Valletta), and local buses. We used this as our base from which to explore Valletta, Mdina, Rabat, Marsaxlokk, St Julian via local buses (€2.50 per journey, any distance). Also took the bus to the Gozo ferry port in the North. The pool is great, with stunning views. They did run out of pool towels a lot though! We really enjoyed a swim after a hot day sightseeing (temp was around 26 -28 degrees in Oct). We only had breakfast on one of the mornings - everything was delicious with a great choice.

Beautiful, clean hotel. Great location to restaurants, 3 minute walk to the Valetta Ferry. The front desk staff greeted us with warm smiles and words, making us feel right at home. There's 2 elevators and rarely waited long for one. The rooms are well appointed, modern amenities and the chilled water was a nice touch. Bathrooms have nice linens, soaps and hair products. Loved the smell. One complaint, the hot water went quickly when showering, but good pressure and relaxing. The pool, spa have a harbor view from the 11th floor. Nice big pool towels. Overall, great location, staff and hotel. It will be our go to hotel in Malta. Fabulous experience.

Room was very spacious. Staff were friendly. Shame pool is indoors, but there is a pool outside that has connections with the hotel. Room service and the food from restaurant was great! Lovely friendly service from breakfast staff.

The most impressive at the Land's End Boutique Hotel is the incredible views on the Bażilika Santwarju tal-Madonna tal-Karmnu, Valletta, Manoel Island and Sliema shoreline. The reception staff during our stay was exceptional. They make you feel at home and are helpful with any reasonable request that they can resolve within their own expertise. I have rarely seen such dedicated staff. The room was clean and the toiletries were of excellent quality. The rooms were cleaned daily and were very clean. The living room which is available to guests free of charge is another optional service. During the opening hours of the lounge, there are always snacks and drinks available for guests to enjoy. The in-house swimming pool on the eleventh floor invites you to relax and swim and like all other areas, it is very clean. Although the hotel is located on a very busy corner of Sliema, our room was quite quiet and was equipped with almost everything a traveler could wish for, hairdryer, ironing board and iron, and a very good fridge. There are plenty of power sockets and there are even USB ports by the beds for charging your cell phone or tablet.

Land’s End was a great find. There were friendly staff on arrival and we had a spacious room with a magnificent view of the capital Valletta. The only downside was the noisy road below but that’s to be expected when you stay on a popular strip of the island - the balcony door was pretty soundproof so had no trouble sleeping. The beds were made every day and room was very clean. We made use of the pool facilities, and the hotel restaurant ‘Hammett’s Monastik’ served some of the best food and drink I’ve ever experienced! The restaurant uses 99% local produce and has a seasonal menu - we enjoyed it so much we didn’t venture out to other restaurants because the quality was of such a high standard and the staff were delightful. I believe the hotel is also introducing a bakery in the not too distant future. Overall the hotel experience was excellent, and location wise perfectly situated close to the ferry terminal for trips to Valletta and further afar.

What a lovely hotel! It felt very modern, very clean and there was easy access to the town and waterfront of Malta. We found it easy to book excursions from the area as the hotel is located in such a convenient spot. It is attached to a luxury hotel next door which is more expensive, however you still get to utilise all of the same facilities as the hotels are attached. Unable to comment on the restaurants as we did not use them, only utilised the breakfast each morning - breakfast was good, a decent amount of range and good quality, hot food. Good service and all of the staff were very friendly. The room appeared small in the pictures however appeared much more spacious when we were there. We also utilised the balcony which was lovely in the evenings. The only flaw I would say is that the pool was freezing cold - however, what do you expect going in October! This did not let us down, we enjoyed the cold pool for short periods. I bet it it a lovely relaxing spot during warmer seasons. Poolside bar was lovely and staff were friendly. Overall we had a lovely time at the Victoria and we will definitely be returning

I cannot fault this hotel, wonderful from start to finish, we came on half board, the breakfast has everything you could want and The tabloid restaurant has plenty on offer from the buffet! The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond, we had an unfortunate encounter with one staff member but it was quickly cleared up and handled very professionally, the cleaning staff are super fast and take care of the room, I don’t know who the cleaner was doing our room 320 but he/ she is amazing! So nice to come back to a made bed, mopped floors and our stuff neatly folded, thank you! Malta itself is beautiful if not a little too hot for me, pools are lovely and the adults only downstairs is great, super quiet and away from the crowding upstairs, one unfortunate feature would be that The Victoria shares the pool with the sister hotel The Palace and I feel the pool is too small for this however this is only a tiny issue and doesn’t take away from the Ax Victoria at all, everything is clean and tidy and staff are superb, thank you so much xxx

Beyond delighted with this location. We will be back. Reception staff so helpful they make sure your stay is great. We get to our room and it’s so lovely and super clean. Son also has an adjoining room that really works for us. It’s so hot we are delighted air conditioning working. We try the indoor pool and love it. Nice for sunloungers inside alongside pool area and fresh towel top up. The rooftop swimming pool and sunloungers are great with towels provided. Also tables and chairs on rooftop. We choose to have drink at rooftop bar which is amazing in an evening. They provide a lovely pizza for supper and lovely cold drinks. It’s a beautiful place to cool down after a hot day the views are outstanding of Malta. We watched some lovely food given to guests. We went half board at The Tabloid and that food was superb. The morning buffet breakfast in Victoria had a choice for everyone. Son needed an iron for his shirt reception staff promptly arranged this. When we next come back we are bringing the rest of my family.

Visit 64 was for 10 nights and Visit 65 was for 17 nights in July. Everything was as good as ever, breakfast is taken in The Copperfield restaurant and is a varied menu of both hot and cold items from cereals, meats, salads, freshly cooked omelettes and much more. Dinner as mentioned in earlier reviews is taken next door in the attached 5* AX The Palace Hotel. There are swimming pools on the 8th & 9th floors which are used by guests from both AX The Victoria and AX The Palace and the 8th floor pool is an adults only pool, during our recent visit we saw and spoke to guests that we’ve seen on previous stays so they are also regular visitors also. Finally the other thing that makes our visits are the hotel staff, they are so friendly from the reception staff, chambermaids, restaurant staff, maintenance staff and management. Looking forward to Visit 66, 15 weeks yesterday on 5th November.

Rooms were spacious, lovely sea view and decent sized bathroom. The Hotel was 5-10mins away from the shops (Zara especially) with the boat docks and restaurants in the same area. Loved the rooftop pool, we didn't realize there were 2 which was a nice surprise when we arrived. There's 1 main infinity pool and a smaller/quieter one on the below level. The rooftop bar was lovely too, you had 2 bar options to choose from, the staff were great! There's a huge spa with a sauna and pool (We didn't use this but would have if the weather wasn't great)

The location is great with lots of cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. A nice beach club 5 minutes from the hotel. The hotel had a parking which was really helpful. The breakfast was nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool was tiny but I didn't go to Malta to use the hotel pool.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It’s in a great location, the staff were very friendly, and it was the perfect hotel for the price. The wide range of options at breakfast and access to the pool, where pool towels were provided...

Location. Good size room, clean & functional. Nice side-sea view. Pool area on the roof is lovely (although the pool is very small).

Great stay, exceeded our expectations. Conveniently located 50m from Gzira promenade and a bus station for a bus from the airport (TD3 bus from the airport terminal). The staff was polite and helpful (especially Ivan and Nikola). Reception desk works 24 hours and you can check-in late, we checked in after midnight without a problem. The room was spacious and clean, bathroom was big, and it provided all necessities such as kettle, safe deposit box, cable TV, streaming services. Beds were comfy with extra pillows. Breakfast was diverse and tasty. There's a swimming pool on the rooftop with amazing panorama view to Valleta, Gzira and Sliema. They even let us store our luggage because we had a late flight. All in all exceptional experience, would visit again.

Location was perfect, just a few steps from main promenade, but noticeably quieter. There are parking spots available on the street (white lines) so when returning at early hours it should be doable to find a spot. Breakfast was standard, diverse. Dining room have many tables you can sit at. There is a rooftop swimming pool, deck chairs, bar. The view is great, a light breeze gives relief on hot days. Room was clean, with a quite big bathroom. Balcony that two person can easily sit and have some rest. Bed was comfortable, room had all equipment we needed.

The hotel room was beautiful! Had everything we needed! Beds were really comfy. The rooftop area was lovely! Nice small plunge pool which lovely views over Sliema. Great to have access to Aqualuna pool, and to the other hotels! We can’t remember his name but the male receptionist that checked us in was so lovely, made our stay perfect- so thank you!

Great size room with balcony, good location & nice and clean. Great location about a 7 minute walk to the ferry to Valletta, with lots of restaurants and bars near by. The amenities were very good, especially enjoyed the pool access across the road. Great to have use of wellness area and rooftop pool also.

Lovely staff that went the extra mile and even decorated the room for a birthday celebration. The beds were comfortable and rooms were perfect. The pool was just across road and was a lovely pool. Would 100% recommend

Location was on a quiet side street that was very close to the main strip in Silema. We liked that it was a quiet room. The real benefit was access to the beach club across the street, and access to the rooftop pool at the sister-hotel around the corner. This location has a small rooftop pool too, but it's more the size of an unheated hottub - I'm sure it gets very warm in the summer but as were were there in Autumn it was chilly too get in. It has a great view though! We liked that the receptionist helped us store our luggage - it was a very common request amongst guests. We loved having access to everything there, near to Valetta, great restaurants all around, decent pubs and a few michelin star places about. The hotel itself was comfortable and good value.

Room was good, just as shown in the pictures, staff was very friendly, cleaning service did a great job. Location was great for my needs (depends what you are looking for, of course) - it had bus stop just next to it, so reaching Valetta centre or other parts in the island was easy, area full of caffes and shops, etc. A small and very basic pool available on the rooftop, but there is also a possibility to go to a big fantastic beach club/pool on the other side of the street, which was great. I was also given a room on one of the top floors and really appreciated the view :)

Excellent rooms, friendly staff, very generous and delicious breakfast, with pancakes and omelets prepared to your liking by the chef working at the breakfast table. The indoor and rooftop pools and the gym are shared with AX Victoria, as the two buildings are connected. Both swimming pools are great, there is a superb bar next to the rooftop pool, and there is also a sauna next to the indoor pool. The area is very nice, just a few minutes' walk from the waterfront. Bus stops and numerous small and large shops, including some that are open 24 hours a day, are also just a few minutes away.

Fantastic hotel, in a quiet area of Sliema yet only a couple of minutes walk to the seafront, harbour and main area of Sliema. Our room was clean and comfortable with a partial seaview and a balcony. The infinity pool area located on the 9th floor was a great place to relax, the views looked out to sea, across to St Julians and beyond and in the other direction Valetta which looked beautiful especially at night. There was a great pool bar up there too serving food and drink all day - Happy Hour between 3pm and 5pm served cocktails 2 for 12 Euros. Breakfast buffet to start the day was so good with plenty of choice for everyone, there's no reason to leave hungry. We ate in three of the onsite restaurants, the food and service was great in all of them, especially in Temptasian on the 9th floor (best to make a reservation) the food here was amazing. There is a tour desk in the main lobby, thanks to Sandra for sorting our excursions. On a last note one of the best thing about this hotel is the staff, from the Management and down, the customer service was second to none. Too many to name but thanks to Dominica, Kristjan and Chang at the pool bar and Puja and Julia at the Temptasian restaurant. We would like to say thanks to you all for such a wonderful stay and we look forward to coming back.

We stayed at AX The Palace with our 6-month old baby for a week and we had the loveliest time. The hotel is located centrally in Sliema, 5 minutes walk to the sea front, including the Valetta Ferry, tour boats and bus stops. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-looked after. Staff are incredibly friendly - every single staff member we met went out of their way to help us, but a special mention goes to Sailendra & Leonie at breakfast and Dominika upstairs at the pool bar - you really made our holiday, thank you! Breakfast was fantastic - options for everybody, fresh and tasty, and coffee was good too. All of the facilities were excellent and well-maintained. The pools are all great, we only used the rooftop pool, which is fabulous on a hot day. The view of Valetta from the roof is fantastic too. Guests were all respectful, with well-behaved children. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I would book again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 week as we wanted to visit somewhere in Malta that had good access to all the major towns and historical sites. From check in to check out, the hotel did not disappoint. We had one small issue with workmen in our room that was quickly resolved in a timely and professional manner. The staff are exceptional - the names I got were Vijay and Ranjan but also several during breakfast who I did not get! Breakfast was fantastic - so much choice and never struggled for a seat. The hotel itself is a perfect 5 star city hotel. The rooms are beautiful, massive beds, power shower and bath separate for us, great WiFi and a lovely veranda. It was very quiet and fab for a great night's sleep. It is close to all attractions, particularly the ferry and boat trips. We used both taxis to get further out and walked everywhere else that we could. Malta itself is very hilly so please consider this when booking. The pool area does get very crowded in the afternoon and again the scene of people reserving sunbeds at 6am, however we knew this is a city hotel and not resort style so used the pool early when we wanted too. All in all we had a fantastic stay, exactly what we needed and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed here at the beginning of September for 10 days, booked via EasyJet. Sometimes the actual holiday experience fails to match that described online, but not on this occasion. This is a beautiful hotel, with extremely welcoming and helpful staff where nothing was too much trouble. I'm fairly confident that we were upgraded in terms of our room, and although we had a limited sea view, the room was spacious and perfect for our needs. The breakfast offering was vast (cooked and continental) and the food served in the TemptAsian restaurant was superb. There are outdoor and indoor pools with plenty of seating, with food served in the evening by the outdoor pool on the roof terrace. Sliema may not offer much to the adventurous tourist, but it's a short hop to Valletta and there are excellent bus and ferry options nearby. I would strongly recommend a stay at AX The Palace Malta. P.S. Our flight back to the UK was delayed by 24 hours, but the hotel welcomed us back and allowed us to use their facilities (including showers) which we really appreciated. Really great choice for breakfast, lovely pool area with comfy sun loungers with towels provided and umbrellas. The pool is smaller than it looks in the photos but a lovely refreshing temperature so is welcome respite from the searing heat in August. We found it very relaxing to spend a day chilling by the pool. Diego was very helpful and we could leave our bags while our room was getting ready. It was useful to be able to order drinks and food while by the pool. The shower in our room was also amazing with plenty of hot water for all four of us! Not far from the sea, shops and restaurants.

Amazing hotel set in an old Maltese Town House, beautiful inside. With spacious room for families, well laid out, two bathrooms, a small living room to relax in. We were really close to the pool and the pool although on the smaller side was perfect for the kids to have a swim in, poolside was clean and tidy everyday, towels laid out and ready on the sun loungers. The rooms were so quiet at night, such a peaceful hotel. Location wise near the bus stops and a ten minute walk into Silema. The staff were so friendly, helpful, would definitely come back here.

Beautiful hotel, the room was even better than the pictures. The pool area is private and secluded, a nice place to relax at the end of the day sightseeing and a perfect spot to enjoy breakfast. Our room had a kitchenette with everything we needed to make a lunch or drinks with a little table and chairs. The kids loved the homemade smoothies and mint lemonade at the poolside. Location is great too, walking distance to cafes and restaurants/town. The staff are very friendly and helped us make bookings.

The hotel Is lovely, it's a historical building in the centre of Sliema, yet in a quiet area, very close to bus stops to go to Valletta and other main attractions. We got a free upgrade with a two floors room, AC on both floors, private balcony with view on the pool. Staff is extremely kind. Breakfast is not huge but It offers both sweet and salty options. It Is possibile to stay by the pool on the last day after having checked out.

Perfect location and easy walking distance to restaurants etc. The bed was so so comfortable and the room very spacious. They provided plenty of towels by the pool. Jurgen who was working nights while we were there was amazing and so helpful, nothing was any trouble for him. The pool/restaurant staff were also great and very attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel.

If you want to be treated like royalty – this hotel is for you. Very good communication before our arrival, and upon entering we were immediately welcomed with a drink. Quick check-in, fantastic view of the bay from the 7th floor. It was our anniversary and the room was beautifully decorated in a romantic way. Every staff member we interacted with was smiling and helpful – Marika at the reception, Jecko from maintenance, the gentleman from the wellness area who also performed massages (highly recommended, super relaxing), and the breakfast staff who were attentive and caring. The hotel has an indoor pool and a gym, and as guests we could also use the outdoor pool. The hotel also takes great care of guests’ hydration – there is a carafe in the room and water dispensers throughout the hotel, where you can easily refill your bottles. The breakfasts were fantastic – there’s a coffee machine as well as a barista who can prepare drinks upon request. There’s also a machine for freshly squeezed orange juice and great selection of food (also vegan and gluten free options). The location is great too – close to many restaurants and the ferry to Valletta. If we ever come back to Malta, we’ll 100% stay at this hotel again.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. It has very nice central location next to the sea view and promenade. Shopping malls are about 750m away. about 500-600m is a ferry terminal, from where you can go easily to Valetta (2 eu-one way), only 5 min by ferry Reception gave us a very nice room with execellent view. and we have got welcome prosecco during check in. In the room was a very big bed and good pillows and soft big blanket. Free bottle of water, bathrobes, slippers, shampoo, gel, hair conditionair, soap. Room is quite big. Inside swimming pool works until 21.00, in mornings usually no people at all Outside swimming pool is open untill 18.00 and tickets you can get from Reception. Brekfast is good: eggs, breads, pastry, fruits, vegies, coffee machine and you can ask to make fresh coffee too, fresh orange juice, and machine which makes fresh small pancakes. Housekeeping service is every day, which is nice. Free wifi AC could be regulated and made room warmer. Stuff is friendly and very nice, especially reception and restaurant. thank you.

Hotel in a very good location. Close to all major activities. The views of Valletta are simply stunning. We had a room with a side view and it was very well equiped. Coffee, tea, sweets were added daily. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast is very varied and tasty. Spa 10th floor was very warm. The pool was small but not crowded. The hotel also cooperates with the Aqualuna complex across the street. Hotel guests can use the heated swimming pool and sunbeds with umbrellas free of charge. You just need to pick up the coupon at the reception. Thr staff were very polite and helpfull.

Location was great - right on the marina, 2 min walk to the ferry which goes over to Valletta. Loads nearby - restaurants, bars, shops right outside the door. The lido was across the road, pool was heated. Indoor pool was lovely too! The staff were great, very helpful and accommodating, breakfast was lovely too. Good social scene in the hotel bar even in December. Rooms were nice, we had a great view of the marina, comfy beds, everything in there you would need including ironing board, hairdryer etc. Would definitely recommend!

Great hotel, friendly and welcoming staff. Room was a family room, spacious and clean with plenty of lovely touches. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choices, we used the indoor pool once kids enjoyed it apart from another guest telling them to shut up whilst they were in the pool (they were not shouting or splashing but laughing and enjoying themselves ) I did have a few words to say back but it put my youngest granddaughter off going again. I would definitely recommend and would consider staying again.

Looking at reviews , I was wondering if I’d made a mistake, as mentions of no towels or not replaced daily would have been a big no for me ! however happy to say we had a lovely time, for a 3 star hotel it surpassed my expectations (been in many hotels and normally only go for 4 star plus ) . Lovely room , modern and I liked the urban roof style . Bathroom was lovely one of the best eco flush toilets I’ve ever had (wish my new one at home was as good ) and the waterfall shower was lovely and powerful. Great location , yes it’s up a side street but not as bad as I was expecting having read the reviews. Guessing most room views won’t be amazing , but you are not paying the cost of an amazing view . Short stroll to the ferry port and regular ferry’s to Valletta and short uber rides to other areas so ideally situated. Breakfast covered most items and changed slightly each day , at about 7.40 each morning there’s was plenty of tables and food was replenished as needed . Check-in was I think 2pm which is generally standard and having arrived early the wait was the only negative for us , however of course happens in all hotels . Not really being pool people we didn’t use the pool but it was just a short stroll across the road . In all we had a great time and would certainly return ! (Hopefully get a room in the same area as this time ) looking at next December . Thanks st azur !

Great hotel set about 50 meters up a side street from the main road. The Breakfast served 7 - 10 am is verry good with a wide choice to choose from e.g full English,continental, cerials, fruit ect. All the staff in the hotel were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you . The hotel doesn't have its own pool but you have free access to the lido pool a short 2 to 3 minute walk where you can lay on sun beds swim and get great food and drinks . We will definitely be stopping at the Azur hotel again in hopefully not the too distant future.

Good location, standard breakfast, the pool was very good! The pool is not in the building, but it is around the corner - big enough, comfortable, with beautiful view - my daughter was happy about it :) 20 min by foot to the sea swimming area, a lot of tasty food all around. This is the place where plenty of boats start their trips. Hotel offers free luggage storage, thank you very much for this!

The hotel is on a little side-street, just off the main road going along the front at Gzira, near Sliema. Lots of restaurants nearby. Walking distance to Sliema fast ferry to Valetta. Nice buffet breakfast included. The hotel provided free tickets to the pool complex Aqualuna, about 2 minutes away. Lots of loungers and umbrellas, nice pool and waiter-service.

Hotel was ok…. Bedroom was very nice and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was huge too. Overall, a comfortable stay. However, breakfast room very small and tight. Too many tables and chairs crammed into a small room. Very busy most mornings. Pool was across the road for which you had to book and get a wristband for. Nice pool though.

We stayed 6 nights in August in Standard Room of The Londoner Hotel Sliema. It was high summer season 36+ C. outside. The air-condition worked very well although the balcony sliding door of our room had a problem with its automatic shutted-down when the door wasn't closed at the right angle but hotel receptions always reacted fast. There were hot water kettle, coffee & tea in the room which was nice. The room had enough space, balcony over looking neighbor building. Breakfast buffet had everything for everyone. It served in the restaurant next to the hotel entrance (same name of the hotel). The hotel itself had no swimming pool but free entrance ticket for Med Asia Playa pools (about 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes with a bus from hotel) helped cool the heat down. It was nice pool next to the beach.

Really liked the room was clean and staff are lovely. Only two things that were slightly disappointing was the breakfast but I think that’s because I was expecting a proper breakfast not a continental. Also when I was booking this trip I clicked pool as an option and this hotel come up only to find out when I arrived there was no pool.

Lovely quiet stay here. Hotel is adults only and I think this is basically for safety as my room was on the 13th floor and had a balcony. Hotel didn't have a massive reception with loads of noise etc and I couldn't hear anything from the bars downstairs but I did have the city view room. What I liked was there was only 4 rooms per floor so you don't have the constant noise of doors shutting and people going up and down corridors. My room was modern with a massive bed and lovely modern clean bathroom with a great shower. This hotel is ideal if you are planning to be out and about all day as there is no pool. My only regret is I didn't get a harbour view room as the harbour is stunning and if you can grab one then the view would be amazing. Breakfast in the attached bar was a buffet style and a decent enough choice. All the staff I encountered where very friendly and polite. Location of hotel is ideal only being a 5 minute walk from the ferry port that takes you to Valletta. I would probably stay here again if offered the choice.

I moved here after staying at another hotel that I wasn’t impressed with. Immediately I was made to feel welcome. I could check in early. Room is large with a big terrace. Unfortunately starting at a wall/someone’s apartment. Breakfast is ok. Served at the pub next door. Pool you have to go to a beach club at the Sliema promenade about 10/15 minute walk. Ferry few mins away. Surrounded by shops and restaurants. It is noisy, so if you’re after quiet, stay on the promenade side.

Located in what others on the island refer to as the posh area. They mean that because of the very high cost of properties and it is an up and coming area with a new designer shopping centre. It’s in a continuous strip of bars and restaurants all pretty standard but either side within minutes are very good places to eat offering a variety The road outside is fairly busy but in your room you don’t really hear it. Fantastic views of the bay if you have a front facing room. The boats/ferry to Valletta are within minutes walk. Our junior suite had a large bed, bigger than a super king and very comfortable Everything else you would need. The bathroom was great, nice shower the only negative part being there was nowhere to put your wash bag/toiletries other than on the edge of the basin, no hooks on the door or anywhere to put your clothes other than the floor. So we had to put a bedside table and stool in there to use so hopefully the hotel picks this comment up. Breakfast is taken next door and was better than expected certainly not just continental with the addition of cooked if you want it and very friendly/helpful staff to prepare something to your needs. So overall I would recommend a stay here, better than its 3 star rating on Expedia. The site also shows the junior suite image as having a double aspect window whereas ours just had a single patio door out to a balcony. The view was great so we were happy. Reception staff very friendly and helpful and went out their way.

The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. The location was great..close to all the restaurants and buses to Valetta. Across from the water and had a private pool and beach area on the water. Would definately stay again.

After reading the reviews of this hotel, I was quite sceptical as to what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Before arriving I phoned the hotel to request a room away from the noise of the ongoing building. They facilitated me. We had a room with a balcony facing the sea. To be fair, there are building works being carried out everywhere in Malta so no matter where you stay, there would be construction noise. It did not interfere with our sleeping though. Breakfast was good. There was a huge selection from cereal, to continental to full English. As with any food though, if you eat the same for too long, you will get bored. The majority of the staff in the hotel were excellent. The hotel pool is across the road beside the sea. It was nice. The staff around the pool were extremely helpful. We didn’t have too many days where it was very crowded and difficult to get a sunbed. The staff at the bar/restaurant beside the pool were so slow with the exception of two of them. However I’m saying that, they were all very friendly. The rooms in the hotel were lovely and clean. All in all, we did have a lovely time and we are planning on visiting again next year.

We loved the hotel room and the staff all round were excellent. We loved the food and its plentiful choices. Only issue we found in room 2113 was the lack of wardrobe space for hanging dresses. This was immediately addressed by the staff with a portable rail which was very satisfactory for us. Biggest disappointment was the lack of poolside cover in the extreme heat. The hotel has been and still is being expanded hence the poolside needs extending in line with development. Building work at the side of the hotel never disturbed us at all. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we intend to return in the autumn.

Staff were amazing, couldn’t do more to help, lovely saltwater pool which is across the road from the hotel, does get busy though so be quick to get a space, also had access to the sea via steps from the edge of the rocks, the spa was absolutely lovely! A must if your staying! Saunas steam room and a lovely indoor pool! Would defo stay again with no hesitation :)

I had a very pleasent stay this time no construction noises at all it was nice and quiet … room where nice … the cleaning staff where kind and very friendly … amazing views on the ocean … only the aircondition was bit to weak … and the shower situation not realy work out for tall people … The poolbar is ok … drinks sometimes a bit weak (maybe of the guests that have all inclusive) … the Poolstaff seams a little bit unsecure , i remember a lot of people having problems with snacks or drinks. The plastic glasses dont work for me when it came to cocktails ,vine or some other drinks in a certain price range. in my opinion the early closing time from the rooftop bar is sad and a missing highlight for your clients … because this stunning view is outstanding and the cocktails where amazing! … in normal ways i take cocktails after my dinnertime 22:00/22:30 and last order was 23:00 or 23:15 ! and u have to hurry up because u must leave before midnight. When i stay in the exelsior hotel the bar stay open all night long.

We were originally booked into 115 The Strand, but were offered a free upgrade to the new Regional Hotel, and it was absolutely worth it! A brand new hotel with beautiful rooms! It was super clean, and the staff could not do enough to help across both hotels! They were very accomodating and helpful. You have free access to the pool, Aqualuna, which is about a 10-minute walk from the Regional. It is a nice pool, but it does get very busy. The a la carte breakfast was exceptional, and the location of the hotel means there are plenty of options for meals in the evenings! It is also easy to get around the island from where the hotel is situated. There is a small shop directly next door to the hotel, which is handy. We were a family of 10, over 4 rooms, and we can not thank everyone at the Regional and 115 The Strand for everything they did during our stay!

Perfect location. Easy to reach Valetta, sea side, bars and oth. Main bonus is free entrance to pool/ bar Aqua Luna. You can spend half day on the beach and half day near the pool.

1. A delicious breakfast with a stunning view: The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of breads, vegetables, scrambled eggs, yogurt, and more. However, I personally didn't like the taste of the Nescafe coffee machine. 2. There was a water purifier in the hallway on each floor, which was convenient. 3. There was a safe for security. 4. The complimentary Aqualuna swimming pool tickets offered to hotel guests were a great bonus. 5. There is an induction stove in the room, so simple cooking is possible.

The hotel clean, easily accessible. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite arriving early I was able to leave my luggage until check in time. There was an onsite restaurant and access to a pool area directly opposite the main hotel. Breakfast was good quality and lots of choice with fantastic views overlooking the harbour area. My room was decorated with balloons and artistically folded towels and confetti sprinkled as it was my birthday on the day I checked in which was a lovely touch.

This hotel is lovely. It's clean and the staff are all amazing. Breakfast was good, with a range of continental and cooked breakfast. The pool facilities are across the road in which you are issued with a ticket for. Happy hour was also great from 7-9 half price cocktails, on the beautiful roof top bar with spectacular views across the bay

Absolutely loved location, right on the promenade, shops, restaurants, bars and stunning view on doorstep. Beds very comfortable, family room spacious and spotless. Toiletries all available. Rooftop pool excellent, plenty of loungers on different levels (shaded and unshaded areas). All staff, from reception, breakfast area and cleaning staff were polite, attentive and helpful. Poolside bar staff also very polite, friendly and helpful. Courtesy room and luggage hold on last day (toiletries and towels available also) is free bonus. Value for money for B&B (varied choices of breakfast) at his 4* hotel. Public transport frequent, affordable and regular. 15-20 mins taxi from airport. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay in Diplomat hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Adarsh we had a lovely room on 7th floor with fabulous views. Bed was very comfortable. . We enjoyed the breakfasts and the pool area was lovely. Jerry at the pool bar was very friendly The hotel is in a great location, near to port and restaurants but not too noisy. We were happy we chose this hotel.

As far as location goes it couldn't be much better. Facing the beach, close to a bus stop, not in an overly busy part of town, but also by no means far from action. Checkout at 11:00 allows for early morning beach or pool visit. The rooftop pool was not big, but relatively deep and pleasantly devoid of other guests.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Bus stop right outside Hotel. We had a sea view room with balcony and the view is amazing right across the water.Rooms cleaned every day and fresh towels. Air con was fab and needed especially at night as it was so hot. Shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and lots of tables and some with the same amazing view. Rooftop pool was great to cool down in with enough sunbeds and seats and pool bar was open for drinks. All the staff in Hotel were friendly and helpful. We were allocated a room on the first floor but asked if we could move to a higher room which the lovely lady on reception ( sorry cant remember her name) arranged for us the next day. We moved to the 6th floor which was a lot better with the amazing view. Would defo return here and ask for a higher floor when booking.

Excellent location right between Sliema and at.Julian’s so gives you both options! Air conditioning throughout was fabulous and all hotel was spotless. Towels and room cleaned everyday - compliments to the cleaning staff who were also very friendly! Special thank you to lovely friendly smiley receptionist who was on during the day during our stay who was exceptional and very accommodating ( sorry didn’t get your name) and also the pool bar man who made lovely cocktails! Pool itself was exceptionally clean

The location was lovely. Plenty of nice bars and cafes nearby. Bathroom.was excellemt, with clean towels provided daily The bed was firm.but comfortable. Safety deposit box was a good addition. The fridge and kettle are a great facility in the room. A few English channels on the TV as well. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of options to choose from and the food was a good standaed. The dining area itself was spacious affording a lovely view of the sea. The pool on the roof and pool bar was a nice touch if you're a sun worshipper.

The location is very good. On the water front and 15 minutes by Foot to the Valetta ferry terminal on one side and St Julien on the other. We had the studio appartment on the 8th floor. It had a huge terrace with an amazing view. There was a water cooker, iron, microwave in the room. Bathroom had a shower place and a bathtub. The breakfast was great. Had everything that a continental breakfast would include. The indoor pool is small but was nice and warm( some people mentioned that was not warm enough but we found it very nice and warm) Bus station just outside the hotel

The rooms are big and fully equipped. The location was very central and convenient. The rooftop pool was incredible, with breathtaking views and lots of space to chill, sunbathe or have a drink/snack (there's a bar). Our room even had a beatiful sea view. Highly recommended!

The view was fantastic,best view ive ever had. It was great sat with a drink on the balcony watching the world go by. The room was huge, like an apartment. Double bed was comy. We had a sette and table, desk and units. We had tv,tea and coffee,hairdryer, fridge,safe, air con and free bottles of water. It had everything you need. Upstairs was a jacuzzi. In a perfect location,but a lively one. So great if you like lively,maybe not if you like a quiet area. The silema ferrys are across the road to valletta and cost 2 euro. very cheap. Also lots of resturants and a macdonalds next door for those maccy d lovers.The hotel is great and I would recommend. We will be back.

I had a room on the 7th Floor with a large balcony overlooking the bay and Valletta, the view was spectacular. The room itself was large and spotlessly clean, and the beds were comfortable; however, the hotel does need a revamp. The location could not have been better, across the street from the ferry to Valletta, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants right next door. the location could not have been better. The staff are outstanding and could not do enough for you. The breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of choices. I will be visiting Malta again, and will definitely be going back to this hotel. 1st Class Hotel in a 1st Class location with 1st Class staff

This is a really super hotel right in the heart of Sliema. Whilst it is not 5 star the service and rooms are really great. We get a superior sea view room which is large and has a big balcony overlooking the sea and Valletta. It is so big it has a subbed on it. The room is very comfortable and bed is king size and very comfortable. There is a useful small fridge and shower is great. We love this hotel which whilst not the poshest we stay I over our holidays does give us a great holiday. The wrist thing is the poor lifts and the bullet fried eggs at breakfast!!

We had an incredible experience with this hotel! The facilities were great but what made it special were the staff who went above and beyond for us. My gf wanted to organise a surprise for my birthday by decorating our hotel room for midnight. When she reached out to staff, not only did they upgrade our room but also did their best to help her with the surprise. Special thank you to Jonathan, Daniel and all others involved who helped coordinate the whole thing and make us feel welcome! We would really recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel is in a quiet area of Sliema, yet only ten minutes walk from the two coasts- port area and bay. Two minutes from the bus stop to Valletta. Staff were very attentive, beds very comfortable and room was well equipped. Reception staff could not do enough for us. Rooms facing pool were quiet. Pool area is a little haven in the bustling city. Extremely pleased to find this boutique hotel.... Thank you for a perfect stay!

Nice clean hotel located in a quiet residential area in a narrow street. Everything was good at the hotel didn't like the pool area. Very very small pool surrounded by a tall building and high wall that limits direct sunlight you are mostly in shaded area so can sun bath

We stayed for 3 nights, although we weren’t told we think we were upgraded. Room was on the top floor, very spacious and comfortable. The balcony was massive, there was a table and 2 chairs, but maybe could do with 2 sun loungers especially as the pool only gets the sun for about 3 hours a day. Martin at reception was great, couldn’t do enough for you. He arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport, which was there waiting for us as we came through arrivals. The taxi was slightly more expensive than other quotes but it was a high spec merc that picked us up and was a comfortable journey to the hotel, other taxis that we used during the holiday were not as nice. Hotel is in a quiet street and we didn’t hear any noise at night. 10-15 min walk down hill into Sliema, 20-25 min walk to St Julian’s. Overall a very pleasant stay and would stay again for a short break

Palazzo Violeta was a wonderful place to stay. A short walk to the Sliema ferries, and close to a bus stop so a great base to get around Malta. It is in a quiet part of town, but bars and restaurants of Spinola, St Julian’s and Sliema are close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful, offering advice about things to do. The whole hotel was spotless, the rooms were comfortable. The rooms all have little kitchenettes cleverly hidden away (only microwaves, no hob/oven) which was perfect for simple meals. We didn’t get to use the pool because it was too cold in January, but the outdoor area was lovely. The comfort room was very nice, but we switched to the duplex during the stay to have some more room and a balcony, which was great. A great boutique hotel with excellent service. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at the Bayview Hotel a few weeks ago. We hadn’t booked, we just went to see if they had availability and initially were told it was booked. But after a bit of a search around Raj on the front desk found us a room. The front desk staff are wonderful and pleasant, Raj, Ani, another lady that begins with A and one with dark hair that helps with trip bookings. The breakfast is very good and Bjorn and Edwin and Blake work there and look after everyone really well. Bjorn is very professional and friendly and also shared travel tips for Malta and nothing was too much trouble for him, a wonderful guy. The roof top pool is great, with a little bar. Never too crowded and overlooking the bay, perfect. They have a large indoor jacuzzi, reasonable sized indoor pool and a big enough outdoor pool with loungers. Restaurants line both sides of the street immediately outside and buses to Valletta and the airport are available opposite. The manager of the Hotel, Dragana (spelling?), is super friendly and a great asset to the Hotel and the group. We had a fantastic stay and the staff couldn’t do enough for us, thank you all.

Thank you St Bayview for a wonderful stay (10 nights). We found the hotel to be lovely - large spacious room with a gorgeous sea view. Breakfast cold and hot choices - menu varied and was prepared to very high standard (delicious) staff very welcoming and friendly. Room exceptionally well cleaned and bathroom although compact was modern with a great shower . We were on the first floor just above the restaurants and bars but this did not trouble us at all. Location is the main thing - absolutely central and easy access for the Ferry and buses and pleasant walk towards shopping area. The rooftop pool area was great - we enjoyed going up there, there is also a sauna, in door pool and jacuzzi. We used the Spa too having massage treatments and would well recommend - thoroughly relaxing and beneficial to well being for rest of our stay a lovely experience and not expensive. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants all around the hotel - spoilt for choice we particularly enjoyed Susie Q’s which is in the hotel but independently run (great cocktails and the young staff were so friendly and welcoming getting to know us our favourite table and our favourite drink - caipirinha) definitely our first and last stop on a night out. We had a brilliant time, whilst there are some niggles (design fault with shower tray) we found the hotel to be overall fantastic and exceptionally good value.

Excellent service, clean well isolated room. Breakfast with more than enough variety. Attentive crew and service. The tour organizer at reception was the cherry on top, it made our life easier for plans to visit and enjoy Malta. The pool on roof top too small but with the sea and beaches at proximity, who needs a pool? All in all, top rate for Bayview Hotel.

We were a little hesitant to book with this Hotel after reading some past reviews. However when we arrived we were very pleasantly surprised. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful and throughout the week always smiled and said hello. The restaurant staff were the most efficient people and kept the table cleared and food topped up. We are vegetarian and there was always something for us to eat, very pleasant experience for us at breakfast. The hotel itself was kept clean and well run and we had no complaints. The room was small but that did not bother us as we only slept there but it was clean with towels changed every day, pool area Yes it was small but in our opinion had sufficient sun beds and shade ( people were ‘reserving beds🤣) we swam first thing in morning and again in the evening so again the size never bothered us . The area was clean and pool bar sufficient. The Hotel is on the main road so in the area for walking the Strand, catching buses, the Valletta Ferry and booking ferry trips, this suited us so this Hotel suited our needs. If I had one negative… our room was directly below the roof top gym… who lifts weights at 11pm at night🤔 so there should be a time limit on the gym use… but on the whole the hotel was kept clean, food was good at breakfast and staff friendly we would book to stay here again .

Not a bad stay, after reading some of the reviews, The hotel was lovely and clean better off with a sea view We had a room on the 3rd floor and looked over some other apartments, , staff friendly and always smiling, a nice pool area and lots of sun beds, good pool bar , great views from the roof top, breakfast was ok the room was a good size with a kettle and fridge the rooms were clean late in the day some days around 5, which is not great when you getting ready to go out,we stayed on the half board, and in the evening we have to eat at different hotel which is another st hotel just around the corner called the Novotel where the food poor not a lot of choice for all three course. Probably won't go back to the hotel because of the food and rooms being clean late

I stayed 2 nights and was so happy with my stay. The staff was great and friendly. The hotel is brand new only opened in June 2023. The room was spotless, new and comfortable. The bed was a bit hard for sleeping but I still slept good. Roof top pool has a great city and ocean view . Less then a 10 min walk to shops and restaurants Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Bardzo czyste miejsce, blisko "centrum" Sliemy i głównych przystanków skąd odjezdzają autobusy w prawie każde ważniejsze turystycznie miejsce. Obok znajduje się także prom płynący do Valetty. Łazienka czysta i przyjemna lecz brak w niej gniazdek, aby na przykład wysuszyć głowę. Pokój w bardzo ładnym, bardziej europejskim stylu niż południowców (wrażenie ogólnego ciepła wystroju itp). Największa wada to klimatyzacja w moim pokoju, która mimo poprawnego działania została wbudowana w taki sposób, że wiała bezpośrednio na łóżko wiec w nocy ciężko było z niej korzystać bo mocno przeszkadzała

Hotel located in an optimal position, less than 500m from the point where the ferries leave for both island tours and La Valletta. Very clean room. Comfortable bed and not particularly noisy, I therefore disagree with some reviews that mention noise. We did not find any difficulties in checking in at the reception which is located very close to the hotel. Very nice and helpful staff. The cafeteria on the ground floor is great.

It was very pleasant stay, very close to all main happenings. Had electric kettle in the room and tea and coffee that were filled daily. Breakfast was great, always a good choice of sweets and salty goods. Room was cleaned daily and towels changed when needed.
