The staff was great and very welcoming. They where able to upgrade my room because it was my Birthday , to a swim out king suite . The food was the best I've had at resorts. Drinks were amazing, and service was great . This place is massive in size due to it having 2 sides an adult side and family side. The pool bar on the family side seem more active and fun.

Place is 5 star when it comes to the service. Staff is so kind, friendly and so attentive. I have never seen a staff work so hard! The people made this vacation amazing for myself and my husband. It was my husbands milestone birthday. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming. Comfy and clean room. Housekeeping also 5 stars Bars and severs- 5 stars Coffee going all day in little cafe in lobby Options for buffet breakfast were great. Lunch options were perfect, can choose to enjoy the jerk hut or the Calypso grill which were also great while enjoying the pool area or the beach. Beach area was beautiful and immaculate. Pool was clean and there is tons of options for chairs and shaded areas. Clean towels always available at pool. Overall this place was just perfect for us and we intend to return to Ziva Jamaica is beautiful.

I needed a break from thinking, as I am in an accelerated nursing program and we need those mental breaks! Stayed at the resort for 7 nights. We met a lot of friendly staff, Jermaine at the front, I asked him for [water apples/pomerac/malay apple] and he brought it from home for me. I haven't had that fruit in over 20 years. He didn't have to do that for us, but he did and I was grateful! Ronaldo, Dainocoy, Latoya, Chaze and our main guy Nicholai at the Ziva Pool bar went above and beyond to keep us happy. We spent most of our days there, swimming, catching a few drinks, playing games etc. We met some of the entertainers Carmela & Renaldo, hubby played Pool with Renaldo and Darts with Carmela. I would love to say I remember our servers but I don't, I know them by face though. Exceptional customer service for most part. I love the level of respect from most, but as with every where you go theres a few bad apples. I heard some of them say things without thinking. I am Trinidadian best believe I understand you! The room was cleaned like 4 times on my whole stay, snacks and drinks replenished. The views were beautiful, but the weather wasn't so great. Lots of windy days, so the beach was rough! Would I visit again? Yeah, but not any time soon. Will miss the bonds we made there though, Love y'all! Would I recommend? Yes, totally. I love that you have access to both properties and their events. The rooms were spacious and wonderful. It was a very good vacation! Xoxo

I am sitting in the lobby waiting to head to the airport. I'm so sad to leave. We had a wonderful vacation. I thought the resort was great. The Zilara and Ziva are a shared Hyatt resort. Everything is available on birth. The pool areas were very clean with lots of chairs and space. This time of year is maybe less busy. There is a constant breeze in July that made it so comfortable. We enjoyed the food. I thought it was better than other resorts I've been to. The beach has a choice so even though the ocean was rough, the beach area was calm for swimming. We had ajr double suite which was spacious and comfortable. Our room was in the rose hall building. Our balcony overlooked the entertainment area plus we were in the building with most of the restaurants. After the entertainment ended at 10pm it was very quiet. Most of the staff is very friendly. There are plenty of bars and staff goes around the pool area taking orders. If I had to come up with a complaint the only thing I can think of is it was slow to get a cup of coffee in the morning at the buffet restaurant and no other restaurants have coffee with dinner. They can get you one from the desert shop but again that takes time. Overall this is a fabulous place for a relaxing vacation. I would definitely come again.

First time in Jamaica and it was a wonderful experience! Hyatt Zilara did not disappoint! Everyone was so nice, friendly, and attentive. We had the swim up room which we loved! Buffet and restaurants were amazing! My boyfriend and I loved the veggie burritos that they had one morning and loved the jerk chicken bruschetta that they served one night at Jamaican roots! We will definitely be coming back!

Was expecting better . No evening entertainment that was exciting. A stale singer for 1 hr in the lobby 3 days . An ok violist several nights. Wasn’t given the entertainment schedule for the Ziva on the Zilara app do first few days we didn’t even know they had some . A fire thrower was good but we only found it by accident during this market festival as we came out of a restaurant. Chairs around the adult pool were all taken by & am. We got out there with ours at 6:30 and a third were gone . Food was good but the restaurants brought it several courses at a time. Once we ask them not to do that it was much more enjoyable at meal time. Best restaurants in my order of preference 1 Harbour Bend 2 Paris 3 Italian- worse service there 4 fusion - Asian 5 Jamaica They had a hut for jerk meats that was fabulous but you had to eat at picnic tables in the sun Only 1 bartender at the swim up bar so drinks could take awhile

Overall it was a great stay however there were a few things to note. First, we were told the steakhouse no longer exists and they should take it off the site. The food was good but nothing spectacular. The portion sizes varied by restaurant and the best was the jerk pork. The room was clean but dated. The mini bar stock was subpar for the price and the $10 room service charge was surprising. Maid service took the towels one day and didnt replace them and it took two calls and two hours to get some. Spa service was fantastic although pricey and the pool and service by the pool was great and fun! Overall it was good but if not for a few things it would be great. Also, the location is perfect, away from airport, and although the beach is a little rocky in the water it was still a great area for swimming. Better than average gym and outdoor sports and plenty of music and dancing by the pools and bars!

We stayed at the Hyatt Zilara in February 2025. The resort was very clean and the staff was exceptional, always there to help you and went out of their way to make your stay memorable. The food was amazing. There were many different options at each dining location including seafood and vegetarian options. The rooms are spacious and clean. I always felt safe during my stay as only employees and other people staying at the resort were allowed on the resort properties, including the beach. There are three main pool areas as well as three main beach areas. The resort has non motorized water sports like kayaking and sailing included. We went sailing one day and loved it. I also visited the Zilara spa towards the end of my trip and thought it was worth every penny. Would definitely come back!!

This was our second time at the Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall, and it certainly won’t be our last! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special, especially as we were celebrating a birthday. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our stay unforgettable. The pool entertainment was fantastic every single day—there was always something fun happening, and the energy was incredible. The restaurants were delicious, offering a great variety of food that never disappointed. Overall, we had the best vacation here. Everything from the beautiful resort to the amazing service made it a trip to remember. Can’t wait to come back again!

From Check in to Check out you are given 1st class treatment. Meals were amazing. Chefs Martin and Marvin are outstanding Chef’s and catered to our needs. A truly memorable experience for our family! This was our 1st visit as a family and my husband and I third time. Round Hill never disappoints!

The upgrade to Villa no 12, left us speechless , the views were breadthtaking as was the villa itself , our own private pool was such an added bonus but that's not all breakfast every morning was fabulous which is prepared by two wonderful girls at the villa . The staff go out of their way to please , everyone is friendly truly felt like a home away from home ! Were we in any other room we would have been happy too as the hotel itself just oozes charm and elegance , but yes , our next visit would be a villa , thank you all at Round Hill !

If you don’t like all inclusive factory-like hotels, Round Hill hotel is perfect for you! We stayed at an ocean view villa with a private pool and had a cook, a cleaning lady, a serving lady and a gardener working for us 24/7. We had breakfast in our living room with ocean view every day and went to restaurants for dinners. It was a true paradise experience!

If you are looking for a drunken spring break party with bad food and cheap liquor than this is not the place for you to stay. But if you are looking for a spectacular resort that frequently hosts royalty, presidents, and A list celebrities than welcome home. The photos on Expedia do not do this resort justice. From the moment you drive through the guarded entrance to this meticulously manicured plantation you realize you have arrived to a true luxury paradise. The resort consists of 27 privately owned villas (more like mansions) that are situated on the hillside overlooking a private bay. Each villa has their own staff that will attend to your every need while there. Whether it is making you fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning or preparing a gourmet private dinner they will truly insure that you are spoiled while there. Each villa has its own private pool and secluded lounge area making it possible to never leave your own private resort. But the real beauty of Round hill is appreciated once you head down to the main grounds that are sprawled across a former 100 acre plantation. Whether it is relaxing with a cocktail on the private beaches or strolling through the jungle trails Round Hill has every amenity that you could possibly want. The staff throughout the resort is attentive and polite. They will make each guest feel like family whether it is your first visit or you are a villa owner.

- incredibly beautiful grounds and cottage with several outdoor seating areas, beautifully decorated, private pool etc - very courteous and helpful staff - nice beach area and beach bars - would be good to not have cleaning staff arriving and hanging out until afternoon. Lose privacy and quiet when several workstaff are around the room and then cleaning room while we are there - Hotel should disclose that breakfast is for charge, ask you to order etc but only later do out discover the steep fees - main restaurant is exorbitant but mediocre. Minimum $40 for entree plus a side then fees and expenses comes to $50. Maybe I would pay that at a Michelin star restaurant but this food was bland, cold and not special at all. More dining options would really help improve the resort especially given the limited dining options nearby and difficulty of getting a normal cab (hotel arranged taxis also exorbitant) - gym and exercise classes are fantastic. Donovan a great instructor and a high point of the resort. Jackie very friendly and helpful.

Perfect 4 nights on our favorite quick getaway island! The staff were amazing… especially Rosanna our housekeeper in the Highgrove building, Syovania at the French Restaurant, Marlon our island cabana butler, and Tadean the Club Sandals manager. We had a swim-up room in Highgrove and it was beautiful. Pool was clean and warm! From check-in to check-out, the drinks were delish and food was, too. Favorite meals were La Tavola and the French restaurant. Entertainment staff were very talented. There is some construction going on but for the most part it didn’t impact us at all. We were a little disappointed the island pool was closed when we booked our private cabana for the day but the Club team made sure to take care of us. We will be back!

We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary last week at Sandals Royal Caribbean. The experience was extraordinary. Loved our Swim Up Butler Suite and were spoiled by Jermaine and Candice who served as our butlers. They constantly went out of their way to make sure that our stay was grand. Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at both the pools and beach. Our favorite meal for breakfast was the buffet at Spices, Themed lunches there were good too as was the pizza place and the grill. Dinner at Butches and Tokyo Joes at Montego Bay as well as the Sunday Brunch over there were also big hits. Can’t recommend Sandals enough!

We had an enjoyable 8 days at Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay Jamaica. We loved our HSUP room. This was our 6th Sandals stay but first time in a swimup room. We would definitely book this room and room category again. We appreciated our Room Attendant, Roseann, as she took great pride and attention to cleaning our room. She took quick note that we used our coffee pot, creamer and “yellow” sugar packets and made sure we had plenty of those every day. Shawn from Club Sandals did a fantastic job with our room orientation (we’ve been to a few resorts where they did little more than take us to the room). We needed two things ..robes and distilled water..and Shawn followed through to ensure the items were received. The entertainment was wonderful highlighted by Rosie the violinist, DJ Smooth, Oral the saxophonist, and we especially enjoyed “Happy Feet” Malik. He is a talented and special young man. The food was delicious through out our stay with only one entree not so good. My fish and chips was a bunch of gooey batter. However, Tameka and Rohan at Cricketeers were great! Other excellent servers were Jessica at The Mariner and La Jardinier, and Nataki at Bombay. My husbands favorite was Glennroy who expertly made his omelette to order every day with fun and a smile! We ate breakfast at Spices everyday and I enjoyed seeing Lamar’s cheerful smile and pleasant good morning. We had a relaxing, peaceful and wonderful vacation!

My husband and I just arrived home from our anniversary trip to Royal Caribbean. We had a prefect stay! Our room was in the new Balmoral building, we had a beachfront walkout with private pool. It was perfect. It was windy a few days and we could hang out on our patio where we were shielded from the wind and still had a direct view of the ocean. Our butler team was Jerome and Sherry-Ann. They took great care of us. Jerome would surprise us with a new cocktail when getting us for dinner and brought us evening snacks. They made sure we had beach chairs and a stocked cooler each day. They handled our dinner reservations too. The only negative was I felt no one looked at our butler preferences that we submitted prior to arriving. Not a big deal though. The resort is close to the airport so a short transfer but also means you see/hear planes throughout the day. It did not bother us. We thought the food was good. We ate at Spices, Royal Thai, Le Jardiner, La Tavaola, and Jerk Shack. The Jerk Shack was amazing! Overall it was the perfect relaxing trip we envisioned! I would not hesitate to go here again. All the staff is super friendly and helpful.

This was our first Sandals trip and it did not disappoint. The short drive from the airport to resort was perfect and put us at the pool by 3p after checking in which was seamless. We had a butler suite in the Clarence building. Butlers Kavoy and Chad are the best. So kind, funny and always eager to help. Loved they had our chairs and coolers set up wherever we wanted to be that day. The little things like having the tub filled in late afternoon after returning from pool or beach, the surprise lunches or snacks at the pool or beach was so appreciated, made our dinner reservations too. We really didn’t have to think about anything. All the restaurants had really good food. We didn’t try the Indian food. The resort is very walkable. Short walk to wherever we were headed. Not many stairs and had elevators. Housekeeping was excellent. The grounds are beautiful. Entertainment was good every night and ended by 10-10:30. We could not hear it in our room. We booked again for next year!

This place is amazing! We loved our swim up suite and the short walk to the piano bar and beach! The piano bar/swim up bar is where it’s at! Always a DJ playing great music and the bar tenders are so nice! Leroy was my favorite bar tender, he’s funny, personable and makes amazing drinks! Crazy Chris from the entertainment team was awesome! His pool games were so much fun! If you go please ask for Leroy and Chris, they make our whole trip!!

this is the best sandals by far, it has such a mixture of younger and older crowds and everyone made us feel so welcome especially akeem in entertainment he greeted us right away we played volleyball, pool, and had amazing talks. crazy chris in entertainment made us laugh with his awesome dance moves and great personality. dane at the piano/swimup bar was by far the best bartender and danced talked and truly acknowledged us. every single employee here goes above and beyond i definitely recommend!!

I had previously stayed at two other Sandals so I knew what to expect but this location was even better than I expected. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the resort is very beautiful. It was very close to the airport but I didn't mind the planes flying over at all and didnt really even notice them after the first two days. The private beach was perfect and when we weren't on the beach, we were at the swim up bar, which stays open until about 2 am. Loved this resort and would definitely reccommend!

Check in smooth went up to our room quite nice good sgorage lovely view spa bath mini fridge shower door strip was on the floor and loads of mosquitos. Restaurants were lovely our favourite was the french. Brilliant entertainment the team worked hard. Swim up pool bar was great. The jerk chicken cart was excellent . We paid 300 for 3 days on the cabana first 2 days were fantastic great service they couldnt so enough. 3rd day what a shambles non existant. Didnt feel we had 7k worth of a holiday defo wouldnt come back

Great resort to stay at close to airport with all amenities. We stayed in preferred swim out with butler. Duran the butler is the best. Ask for him if you can and tip well at end. He booked everything we wanted and provided cooler of drinks on beach daily. Prepped our lounge chairs also at beach and pool

This is a very nice resort. The pool entertainment and nightly entertainment was the best I've witnessed at the many resorts I've stayed at. The food was very good. a wide variety was offered for the many different taste that stay there. The only place that required reservations was the Himitsu. Our room ( Non Preferred) was cleaned daily and the room also had great AC . No Irons are provided but they do provide a steamer. Several guests from the preferred side ventured over to the non-preferred side. Preferred was very quiet and no swim up bar. I would suggest staying at the Wild Orchid. Even though St James is attached, All the restaurants and entertainment are on the wild orchid side. The beaches in my opinion were a little disappointing. I was expecting Beaches like we had in Negril but that wasn't the case. They were small and pretty rocky. The Beach behind St James was a tad better. The fitness center was nice plenty of equipment, but it was pretty small. I would Definity stay here again

This my 2nd time staying at Breathless since December. It was wonderful once again. XHALE Club swim out with Butler. Fish nets was a nice restaurant. I also walked over to Secrets. We have full access to Secrets Wild Orchid and Secrets St James. It is a wonderful property. Clean and peaceful. You will get lots of rest and relaxation

Breathless is an amazing place for younger couples and singles to enjoy, be laid back or turnt up. The entertainment staff, lifeguards and bartenders are all excellent. Corey, Jordan, Emely, Chevonne and so many other super amazing employees made our time so enjoyable. They taught us how to play Ludi and made sure we had everything we needed to have the best experience. There are tons of food options and almost everything is good. The environment is totally chill and laid back party vibes. Always something going on in lobby or by the pool, on the roof or at Secrets. The design of the outdoor space is very modern and aesthetically pleasing. The waterfalls and fountains make it a total luxury experience. Views from the rooftop area are INSANE! There are tons of lounge chairs and daybeds around the 3 pools and the lifeguards and entertainment staff are more then helpful with umbrellas as the sun moves throughout the day. Having access to Secrets also makes it fun, since their side is definitely more crowded you can enjoy their food beaches ect and then return to Breathless. They also accommodated us with an earlier check in due to our flight arrival time.

I had a wonderful Stay! It was my birthday and the staff accommodated me very well. The food was great. The pool was nice. The resort was not overcrowded and the access to secrets was great. I will definitely be back.

We hadn't visited the Secrets properties in Montego Bay for many years and I am happy to have gotten back here. As soon as we arrived a member of the staff greeted us with a golf cart, loaded our bags and gave us a quick tour of the property to show us the beach because I mentioned how we had just stayed in Negril and loved that beach. He couldn't wait to show us how they improved and expanded the beach area. Let me just say WOW! What a major improvement! Soooo pretty with plenty of seating options. The room, staff, food, drinks and entertainment were all amazing. You have access to both Secrets Resorts and guests stay in the Preferred Club at either can go over to Breathless as well. Check out the pictures from the Breathless rooftop pool. Beautiful views and a nice swim up pool bar too. I'm glad we went back to this property after all these years to see how amazing it is now!

Upon our week-long stay at Secrets St. James Montego Bay, we experienced exceptional service right from check-in, where we met our butlers, Dane and Chase, who catered to our every need. We had a luxurious Preferred Members VIP ocean view swim-up room with two private hot tubs, providing stunning views. The dining experience was outstanding, with the best food we’ve ever had at a resort. As Preferred VIP members, we had special access to restaurants at the neighboring Breathless and Wild Orchid resorts, which offered quieter dining options. The beach was pristine, featuring beautiful turquoise waters, and our butlers secured reservations for prime beach spots daily, allowing for a leisurely start to our mornings. The resort offered a range of pool areas and activities, accommodating both tranquil retreats and lively environments. Additional perks included a charming shopping area and Coco Café. The staff's hospitality was exemplary, highlighted by a memorable surprise on our final day from Chase, who created a romantic setup with rose petals and a bubble hot tub. Overall, Secrets St. James Montego Bay provided a perfect paradise-like vacation with impeccable service, stunning surroundings, and delectable dining. We highly recommend this resort and look forward to returning.

Our experience at St. James was overall above expectations. The accommodations were excellent. We had a swim out preferred and the amenities that came with that were worth the extra money in my opinion. The butler service was a pleasant addition to our stay. Our butlers, Dane and Tajae did an outstanding job of seeing to our needs and desires. Set us up every day on the beach and took care of our dinner reservations every night. The food was only okay. Some restaurants (Portofino and Teppanyaki Tables) were very good. Others, (Bordeaux and Altitude) were substandard. Blue Mountain was pretty good but certainly not great. Beach was beautiful. Pools were great. Service was outstanding. I would certainly go back.

We just returned from our honeymoon and to quickly sum it up...PERFECTION! Lets dive in. Our package was a Preferred Club Jr King swim out suite and Butler service. From arrival at the resort through the end, everyone was very nice and engaging. Chase and Dane...absolute LEGENDS. They took care of everything from reservations to our daily activities. They are two of the most genuine folks I have ever met. The spa services were top notch and very refreshing. Food was top notch and the private dinner in the gazebo was unforgettable. The sunset magic, meal, and staff were top notch. The food at the restaurants was very good. The entertainment was all top notch. The Silver Birds steel orchestra were unreal. I play in a steel orchestra myself and they just stole the night with a great sound and energy. The piano bar was also a chill got spot for us. 2 bartenders that really stood out was Torrey and Akim. They had us laughing so much. Great conversations and vibes. They both wished us well with some great advice to live by for a long happy marriage. We will return. I will say from my experience, get the preferred club and take care of your staff and they will take care of you. Many blessing to my Secrets Family. One Love! See ya soon!

The Good: Hotel and resort is very high quality. Beach is awesome. Although there are seaweeds, but the amount is neligible and does not block you of having a nice swim. Staff and bar tenders are all 5 star. I would definitely go there again The Bad: We expected more of Jamaican traditional dance and singing events. Most of the events are planned for weekends, while during weekdays you don't ses much interesting events. It is a big miss that the resort does not offer buffet for dinner. The line up for a la carte dinner restaurants was not pleasant. It does not make sense to be in Jamaica and be forced to eat Italian, mexican or French cuisine. The Ok: the number of regular beds around the pools could be increased. The front row for all pools were allocated to previllege guests which was not fair. But there several pools that you can enjoy

Great experience!! The staff was amazing especially Rayan with Guest Services and the Lobby bartender. Rayan was our personal attendant, he brought us whatever we needed and answered all of questions, and he was accommodating and so kind. Easy access to the beach, they thoroughly cleaned our room and the property, and easy to get a table at each restaurant. Not crowded and smaller resort but very peaceful and relaxing. We had a swim out pool connected to our room which was amazing. Whitney with the Spa gave me an A1 Zoetry massage. Beef Pies/Patties at the souvenir store was so good, but only there 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Only thing we didn’t get to do was the Romantic Dinner on the pier due to weather and availability, I recommend booking it in advance. Thanks Zoetry for a great experience!

Excellent Location (<10 min ride from MBJ airport). Plus, great beachfront. No matter where you room is on the property, you are <2 min walk to the beach. Lots of lounge chairs, both poolside and beachfront. Spacious, well-appointed rooms. Friendly, courteous staff. Dinners at Coyaba Restaurant were good. Most importantly, easy, friendly vibe about the whole place.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. All the food was amazing every day, but the food service is a little limited. Our only “ok” opinion of our stay was that the facility was, for lack of better a better term, used. It was just a bit worn down like the poolside bar/restaurant having stains on the walls of what appeared to be old food, the walls in our room had a large condensation spot from the wall AC unit, our balcony light didn’t work, and our room number was missing the last 1 in 311. So while the facility was “used” we still felt very comfortable and enjoyed the people and the facility amenities. It was quiet, small, and not overpopulated which made us very comfortable. We would recommend this resort for any couple or person looking to get away and relax.

I liked the room it was amazing until it started leaking from the storm and had to move to another room on the 3rd floor which was too many stairs. I didn’t like the food or the restaurant where all meals were served. The service was terrible, the staff was slow and not very friendly. It wasn’t anything to do and the restaurant by the pool closed too early on the weekends. It wasn’t any fun for the money you paid it was boring. I loved the room and views but the food and entertainment sucked! Wasn’t worth the money paid.

- The sunsets are the best you can get anywhere in the world. - Snorkeling is great. The coral is struggling for its life, like everywhere else, but there are plenty of colorful fish. To see the best, just swim up to the border of the Doctors Cave swimming area and follow the rope. Also, on the left side (if you face the ocean) there is a pier that is the lunch point for many boats taking people to snorkeling trips (a short ride, the reef is in front of Doctor's Cave). We used a smaller boat, Miss Poly. The captain is a great guy, we recommend him highly. Just walk up to the red boat when you see it next to the pier and talk to him. Occasionally he can be spotted at the left side of Doctor's Cave, where he can pick you up directly from the shore. He has a 2 person minimum policy, so if you are a couple, he will take you right away. - Food is great in the buffet-style Marketplace, and it is really good in any of the three restaurants. - The restaurants have a "high end" atmosphere. Our ranked preference was 1. seafood on first floor; 2. Italian on the fifth floor; 3. Jamaican on the sixth floor. The Italian restaurant had excellent beef tenderloin, the seafood place had an equally excellent warm water lobster tail. The presentation is beautiful, see the photos. - The view from our room was fantastic. - The service is attentive and professional.

I celebrated my 50th Birthday on the 12th and spent a week at the SHotel Montego Bay. This was indeed the best vacation ever! The staff at this boutique hotel were excellent and pleasant. Nothing in life is perfect so I will list some things below, but these things did not impact my overall rating. King Suite Ocean View room - was beautiful. The beds were too hard for my taste but I eventually adjusted. The room was very clean and kept clean daily by housekeeping. This is a smaller resort so it is easy to hear the traffic on the hip strip. The nighly entertainment was right outside our balcony which overlooked the pool and the ocean. We could enjoy right from our room. The food was satisfying. The escovitch snapper at the pool grill was the bomb!!! So fresh and delicious! I had one too many. The Roots Rock restaurant was fantastic. Oxtails did not disappoint nor did the service! The only restaurant available to book on my actual birthday was the seafood one on the main level next to the lobby. That was the only one I didn't care for. We got the shrimp and pasta and it was a super small portion so much so that we left and went to the buffet afterwards to round out the meal. The live music however was fantastic. A gentleman played piano and sang. He was awesome! Could have listened to him all night. Wished he was part of the live nightly entertainment by the pool. The Jam Rock restaurant was pretty good as well. We had the filet which was prepared well

From the beginning of our group trip till the end we had the most amazing time. Upon our check in we were upgraded to a suite and that was able to accommodate group of three perfectly. We received room service everyday and appreciated it because it avoided us asking for additional towels or trash to be removed. Everywhere we went we were greeted by staff. Not many people were coming and going but the staff were very friendly and even remembered our names! Which was a beautiful thing. The pool is an attraction because it’s right there but my group and I found the beach to be way better than spending time at the pool. We also received service from the pool bar at the beach so that was very nice in not having to exit the beach for a drink. They do have designated smoking areas one in the beach and one outside of the lobby with nice benches, chairs, and an outside fan. The community outside the hotel was always very welcoming and made sure we were okay. They have a local store where we saw employees go as well and a smoke shop with good deals. All in all very calm quiet good staff willing to recommend good local spots where you can step off the resort.

We had to change from the Hilton Rose Hall to the S Hotel due to Hilton selling that resort to the Hyatt chain and I wanted my points. The S hotel partners with the Hilton so we were able to get points for our stay. The S hotel was absolutely fantastic! To start with we were upgraded to a Sky Suite so we had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. To give some shout outs. Roan at the pool bar went above and beyond. He even cut up some Mangos for us to bring back to our room. The specialty restaurants were Jamaican food, Italian food, & Seafood. Ricardo and Darol in the Jamrock and Seafood restaurant were wonderful servers. The salon staff were very nice too. It was very easy to go from the pool to the beach and there were no stairs required. The water is extremely clear and you could easily see the bottom even when you were out to the bouys. The resort faces the ocean towards the west so the sunsets are perfect.

The S Hotel workers need to be recognized because they are exceptional and make this hotel worth the stay. Deondra (the manager) - you promised you would read this review and recognize these hard working individuals. I hope you keep your promise because this was a long and detailed review of my experience with the employees. Thank you! At the pool bar: First and foremost - Delroy. What a professional. Went out of his way to make us comfortable and happy. Paid attention to detail and never had to ask him for anything. Was always there when we needed something - I joked with him and asked if he had a tracker on us. More importantly, he is a great person. Easy to talk to, kind and genuine. Good bartender. Needless to say he is now a friend. The S Hotel is lucky to have him represent their brand. Also at the pool bar are the hardest working wait staff. Attentive but never overbearing. Knew exactly what we wanted and needed. Smiled through the long and very hot walks back and forth to the beach to bring us whatever we asked for. Saskia, Orel, Mikayla and Tony the lifeguard- (who does a little bit of everything). Rahyme a.k.a GOVERNMENT! True professionals and cool people. Thank you - my new IG friends! Aladdin behind the grill! His chicken was delicious and made with love. He worked so hard to make ALL the food served at the pool mostly by himself. Absolutely wonderful. Makes a trip to Jamaica possible with no issues whatsoever. The staff is amazing and the food is great. We had pretty much a private pool with the best view of the coast and our rooms were always done up when we left.

The best stay in Mobay! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home. We were welcomed with cold glasses of homemade lemonade and sat on the porch to enjoy the view. We were then given a tour of the room and shared amenities. The pool area is gorgeous, surrounded by flowers, fruit trees and sunshine. The game room offered table tennis, a pool table, air hockey, video games etc. We stayed in a premium king room. It was large and comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with a bidet. Each day we were offered fresh ice and water for our mini fridge. You can request daily house keeping, although we did not require it. Beach/pool towels are also provided. Daily breakfast was offered with traditional Jamaican breakfast options and European options as well. The b&b is away from the noise but only a short walk away. Although, the hill is a bit steep and the stairs can be a challenge. The b&b staff will call you a cab if needed. We walked to Doctor's Cave beach daily...about a 10 minute walk. We paid adult admission and we rented 2 chairs and an umbrella, al costing about $40/day. There isn't a microwave or kitchen available at the b&b to prepare your own food, so it is good to keep in mind when you are put and about, to eat while you're there and/or being something back that you can prepare in yoir room. So happy with our stay and we can't wait for our next visit.

Great location, great staff, the pools were very calm and enjoyable. One has a water view. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was amazing everyday. Beautiful flowers and upkeep of the property. The porch and pools were very relaxing but close to restaurants and the beach.

Clarisa and Jeremy are wonderful hosts; Shirlette and the ladies are the best hostesses and our breakfasts each day were amazing. You can choose between a variety of American or Jamaican dishes, always a lovely fresh fruit platter to start. This is a fabulous quiet location and due to the property size, you are not sharing the pool(s) with hundreds, in fact we had the pool to ourselves each day. The view from the balcony is stunning and even when it rained it was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch it come down, perfectly sheltered but still with a view. The walk to the main road is about 5 minutes so easy access to restaurants.

A Hidden gem, my new favorite spot! I'm older and so a lot of the hustle and bustle of the Hip Strip is lost on me. I want a place that is quiet and beautiful; rest and relaxation are most important to me. Wow, wow, wow!!! Polkerris was Amazing!!! It won't be for everyone; it's up a hill which will immediately reveal what shape your heart is in, and honestly, the hill was taxing enough that I didn't want to walk it every day. Fortunately, I didn't have to!! A gentleman named Michael is the prompt and courteous driver the property recommends, but the property is so tranquil and peaceful that who wants to leave?!? I felt like I was in my own private island getaway!! From the arrival, with Laura's husband taking my bags, to meeting Laura, the manager who made herself available 24/7, to the delightful woman who served us every morning whose name I failed to get, to Ms. Teresa, the matriarch who, though elderly, is actively involved with management of the property - - so much about this trip was simply superlative. My room opened onto the pool, and breakfast each day was overlooking the beautiful waters of Montego Bay. This won't be for everyone, but if you want a place to recharge your batteries, to be surrounded by natural beauty, and to have the option of being right in the middle of the Hip Strip if you want, this is the place! I cannot overstate how much I enjoyed it!!!

The service and ambiance was amazing from the time we arrived at JOIA until the time we departed. Every single staff member went out of their way to accommodate my wife and I. The swim out pool room with butler service was great. Alain, Andre and Glen were our butlers and they were all great. Surprise flower petals in the room each night. We felt the romance. The pool activities were fun and kept the day lively. We loved the food. It was not a problem eating at any of the restaurants. Would highly recommend this resort.

I had the absolute BEST experience at Joia Rose Hall @Iberostar! Our room, (swim up Butler suite), was excellent. Our Butlers , Alain and Andre' were TOP TIER!! Actually, they made our stay worth every cent, catering to our every WANT and NEED, (within their control, of course), and on our next trip, August 2026, I will definitely be requesting both Alain and Andre' again. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The customer service was awesome as well. The beach was lovely and relaxing. The activities, wellness, games, foam party, shows were great!! The experience at JOIA was amazing! From the pleasant informative check in with Gregory, exceptional professional service from our butlers Rushane and Jamie (Berris was adopted by us too! lol!), all the delicious food at the buffet and Surf and Turf, the stunning views from our balcony, fast room service delivery from Andre, the relaxing vibes at the relax pool and turn up music at the swim up bar, to the excellent spa services. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! Our butlers really impacted this trip. I’ve had butler service at other resorts, but this service was top notch! They went above and beyond for us and we truly appreciated them. We will be back real soon! 2 nights was not enough time, but we enjoyed every single minute.

I had the best experience at this hotel. I enjoyed my ocean front room that had views to the pools and the most amazing sunsets. I truly enjoyed my time on the balcony, on the beach, and in the pool. There was always something to do at the hotel. I ate at the buffet every night because it had all I needed. The food options were endless and the flavor was Jamaican and not watered down. The Jerk Chicken was delicious. This was a solo trip and I felt safe. I stayed on the property the whole time and felt warmth from the staff. I enjoyed that there were always each chairs and pool chairs to choose from. I went to the beach in the mornings and it was super clean and well seen care of. The property also had a waterpark for adults. What can I say about the fabulous entertainment? The foam party and pool party. The shows were fantastic. I am coming back.

The hotel has a laid back vibe with some island flare. It was a busy hotel but at no time did we feel overwhelmed. The staff did a wonderful job of managing their various duties so at no time did we feel as though we had to wait lengthy times for service or for anything else. The water park was a hit with the family: well managed, attentive lifeguards and great swim up bar. We also loved the variety of entertainment they offered through out the day. There was always a wonderful selection of food at the various restaurants on the property and everything tasted great! Exceptional security around the property. We always felt safe. Big up Oneil the groundsman for keeping the beach and surroundings clean all day!

We visited as a family of four with two teenagers. This resort is what you want to make it. If you want quiet and zen, you can find that. If you want loud and active, it’s there. It’s a big resort. There’s a quiet pool and a boisterous pool. There’s a smaller beach with too many chairs but then there’s a bigger beach that brought me pure peace. The staff is incredible. We planned this trip for my 50th birthday and it checked all of the boxes. The overall vibe was exactly what we were looking for and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Food and drinks were plentiful. Seek out what you want and you will find.

We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the beach areas and swimming in the pools. The lazy river / water park pool was too busy and noisy during the day but we enjoyed swimming there in the evenings. Having easy access to drinks and food throughout the property was fabulous, particularly Mangoes, the Seaside Grill and the Coffee Shop. Our room was on the quiet side of the property, which we requested and had a beautiful golf course and ocean view - loved it! We had delicious food and excellent service at the Rum Factory as well!

Even though this hotel is at the lower end of the pricing scale you would never think so after staying here. The rooms are spacious , i stayed with my 2 children and there was room for 3 single beds , the bathroom is a good size with a very large walk in shower , we were on the 1st floor which had a lovely balcony overlooking the outside bar and pool area. There is a TV with which you can access the internet (very rare in my experience) , wi-fi through out the complex, some rooms have a fridge and safe , i know this because my sister and her son stayed in a room with these. The staff were all friendly and very accommodating nothing was too much for them , spent a couple of mornings in the on site gym and of course there are two pools there too. The food was very nice too from the restaurant and they provided meals through the day . It was a pleasure sitting on the balcony into the night with a drink listening to the sweet reggae music being played from the outside bar and then retreating into the air conditioned room to get ready for bed. The hotel is situated close to the local amenities and there is a very handy 'corner shop' 4 min walk away which is open till late. With the Doctors Cave Beach very close and plenty of local taxis always around i personally that the Toby's Resort is an unbelievably rare find amongst the central area of Montego Bay and i more than highly recommend it.

Toby's Resort is a good place to stay near the airport, convenient to the beach and also a tennis club. The restaurant had friendly service and was clean. Breakfast started at 7:30am. Our room was clean, with a good AC and nice hot water pressure. The sheets were a soft cotton and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the waterfall pool (and there is a another pool on property). Perhaps the only thing missing from the room was an electric teakettle with coffee/tea service.

Toby's provides great value, a reasonably priced resort in Montego Bay that delivers a very high quality. The pool is very nice, the rooms are clean and nicely configured, the bathroom is very good, the pool and bar is nice, the food in the restuarant is good, and the location is excellent.

Clean and outstanding staff. It’s fourth time staying. Everything is very clean, the pool area is comfortable and you feel safe swimming in the pool.

Very convenient to the airport with nice rooms at an affordable rate. The pool and pool bar are worth a visit for sure!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Jamaica. The staff’s welcome was excellent from the very first moment: everyone was kind, helpful, and always smiling. Cleanliness was good, and the room, simple but nice, had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel pool was very convenient, as was the beach towel service with fresh towels provided daily. The free access to the adjacent beach was a great plus, as well as the entertainment, which was discreet yet engaging. The all-inclusive restaurant was excellent, offering both international and local cuisine, with truly spectacular desserts. There are also two bars with perfect drinks and a coffee kiosk where you can enjoy very good coffee, ice creams, and more sweet treats. The property also offers the possibility to book organized or private tours and has an on-site taxi service, which was very practical. The security service was excellent too, making me feel safe at all times. A special thank you to Rinalda from Chukka, Alexia at the reception, and Donovan and Kevon from the bar for their professionalism and kindness: they truly made my holiday even more enjoyable. What an incredible stay for a solo traveler. This property is located right across from Doctors Beach, which is the best location to be in Jamaica if you live snorkeling like me. I was more then happy with wonderful check in process, where I got super lucky with being able to get room right away. I am still grateful for it. Room was very nice , on top floor, which I was hoping to get as I am very light sleeper and they granted my wish which was super nice. Everyone is very kind and sweet. I absolutely loved the grill that had terrific jerk chicken. I absolutely loved people working at the main restaurant. They are working nonstop while wanting to provide best experience. Food was to die for! So many local specialties that I could only dream of. Options were fantastic! I love everything! I could write an article just on the food alone. Pool was also lovely even that I only stayed at the beach. Hotel provides entrance but you are responsible for chair or umbrella. This beach closes each day at 5pm Views from coffee shop and terrace above are so beautiful. You can see incredible sunset. I would stay here again.

The staff were excellent. So friendly and welcoming. I would definitly stay at Deja again and highly recommend it. Location is perfect. The pool is lovely, a bit small but the beach is a 30 second walk across the road. Thank you Troy for helping us cross the road every day. It is safe, clean. More like a hotel in set up, with one pool, but it was clean, the access to Doctor's Cave beach was included and easy (and the highlight of the stay!), and close enough to the airport that we had time for an ocean swim on the morning of departure. The facilities were kept very clean, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Special shout outs to Renalda from Chukka, to Satia and Winston in the dining hall, to Loretta, to Diedre at front desk, to Andre, and to Troy who stopped all the traffic.

(I didn't know what a fresh baked gizzada tasted like, as store bought are usually a week old -- this one melted in my mouth! A big thank you to the pastry chefs!) We're breakfast people, even on holiday, and appreciated the omelet bar/buffet with corned beef and curry chicken. The banana bread/carrot bread are delicious, too. Thursday night we enjoyed the piano bar from 6-7pm. On Monday night we went again, this time for appetizers, as it was Manager's Special night. (Speaking of appetizers, we noticed them appearing at the pool bar from 6-7pm, which was great, as the dinner buffet opens at 7pm and we're used to eating dinner closer to 5:30pm at home.) We drink a lot of water and liked filling our own bottles with filtered cold water at two locations -- inside the dining room (back corner before you exit to the restrooms) and inside left front corner of the pool bar. Thanks for this! SeaGarden maintains a lovely property. This time the tennis courts were being resurfaced. In the meantime, we found exercise by snorkeling in the bay, walking the beach, working out in the fitness room and through various activities in the game room (both located near the pool bar). (Only one negative comment -- room temp water in our sink/shower, no hot. Couldn't be fixed.)

My husband and I visited for our honeymoon/one year wedding anniversary and had the time of our lives! The location is a huge plus if you’re hoping to be near the airport, it’s only about a 5 minute drive. The grounds are very well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful! We had a tower room facing the pool and the views were breathtaking! We appreciated the nightly entertainment, which we could enjoy from our balcony or next to the pool. The piano bar is a must, the pianist was incredibly talented and knew any song you threw at him! As a vegetarian I was impressed by the food selection. The beach bar & grill was super convenient and tasty, and the buffet offered several regional dishes as well as the classics like mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The vegetable soup in particular, while it may not sound like anything special, was some of the best soup I’ve had! We also dined at the Italian restaurant on our anniversary and it made for a very romantic setting. The two private beaches aren’t huge but it makes for a more intimate and relaxed vibe. We enjoyed the dj who entertained on the beach throughout the day with games and music. We also enjoyed snorkeling one of the days and saw several tropical fish along the rocks. This hotel offers some of the best sunset views and it was an overall great stay. I’d highly recommend this all inclusive for anyone wanting to visit Montego Bay without breaking the bank.

The beach is amazing with the fish and hermit crabs you can grab a snorkel on the watersports bit we did get to see a ray to... the food at the beach bar was nice but the snack bar by the pool of a night was amazing I can't remember the chef name but he always had a smile n a good chat the rooms were clean and spacious with ice cold a/c we didn't use the pool as the beach had everything overall the staff went out there way the ladies at reception were brilliant thank you for our quick check in evening entertainment was really good but all depends on the crowd most didn't wanna get outta there seat overall a beautiful hotel

We loved the beach area and the protected inlet; it was like a giant, warm pool with small fish swimming around. Theres lots of shade or sun areas, and the bbq is really good! The staff everywhere are SO friendly and helpful. Please treat them with respect!! Shoutouts to Shevar- (Lifeguard), Smiley and everyone at the (pool bar and snack bar), Novlette (waitress). The food is amazing, lots of vegetarian options and weekends are traditional Jamaican cuisine. The restaurant can get really crowded so be prepared. Rooms are lovely, very spacious, clean and comfortable with a cute little balcony with sitting area. Great location, would highly recommend this resort!

The housekeeping was excellent. Shout out to Henry and the entire housekeeping staff. Although I asked for no housekeeping, if I needed to change a towel or get toilet tissue, they were ready to help me and my coworker (guest 2), showing their dedication to guest comfort and satisfaction.The best bartenders are Georgette and Andre, who are amazing people with outstanding customer service. If you go and they are there, please leave a tip. They are wonderful people, and the three gentlemen, Cardell, Linton, and Lyndon, who work at the pool bar during the night shift, are also great. I wouldn't go to the bar when they weren't working; I would walk to the pool bar to get service from them if they were there. My favorite bartenders, it was always a pleasure when they were working.The nonmotorized water sports are a definite highlight, and the ENTIRE lifeguard staff were not just wonderful, but also highly professional and respectful. My guest and I had a fantastic time participating in the nonmotorized sports, and we felt completely safe under their watchful eyes. Great property - definitely an older, historic hotel, but that's what gives it charm! It's located directly on the main road in the Hip Strip of MoBay, so there is definitely traffic noise. Staff was wonderful, and helped us to extend our stay by two days when a flight was cancelled. They also connected us with two great drivers/tour guides and made excellent recommendations for local restaurants. Their on-site restaurant was excellent as well! Wonderful 2nd floor balcony/patio area to hang out and chat with other guests. Nice private pool and patio area out back for cooling off and enjoying Red Stripes. Definite traffic noise from the road, and from a major dance party that happened next door (only one night). Excellent central location - great for accessing all of MoBay's attractions. Definitely recommend!

Everything was exceptional. The breakfast was amazing. Breakfast is also free. Friendly helpful staff. Clean room. Nice warm pool. If the pool has a lot of leaves just ask them to clean it for you and they will. The hotel is better than the pictures online.

Spacious rooms and the friendly staff really made the difference for us. We were well looked after by Neo and Paul and Claude at the watersports team. But every experience we had with the bar staff and the staff in the restaurants was felt warm and genuine. We were a little concerned by several negative reviews but we can only imagine they were one-offs or just difficult guests. To dispel some myths, pool temperatures were perfect and we stayed in the water for at least an hour at a time without feeling cold. Also beach was fine … a little bit of seaweed in places but easily avoided so we split our time between the beach and the pools. Room was very clean and everything was working during our stay (no blackouts or elevators not working so again don’t get overly anxious around the negative reviews from people who only experience first world problems).

The staff from point of contact to leaving was Wonderful! Mr Courtney was Great in reservations, Carrol aka Special K our bartender and Milford were funny treated us like family. Our room Oceanfront View was breath taking every day to wake up too!! I loved the stock mini bar, pool, food and All staff welcoming and friendly!!

Their towel system isn’t the greatest You only get one towel they’re always running out, The pool and ocean very warm like 96 degrees I’m definitely going back. But bringing a beach towel of my own lol

We had a great time at Riu Reggae! Check In - We arrived early around 12pm and we given a room right away, even though check in was at 3pm. I'm sure this doesn't happen all the time, but it was an added bonus. We were also greeted with a cold rum punch which was delicious Room - The room was clean, quiet and cold. The staff cleaned our room every day and left fun towel shapes and notes on the bed. The fridge and mini bar was stocked every 2 days. The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. We were on the ground floor and there were a couple nights where there was some noisy people in the hallway around 2am. We travel with a white noise maker so this was not a big deal for us. Bars - We loved all the bars. The staff were always pretty quick at getting you a drink. I didn't see any top shelf liquor (Bombay, Titos, Makers Mark, Jim Beam, Jose Cuervo, etc), but that doesn't really matter to us. The Red Stripe was delicious. Pro Tip - Bring a Yeti or reusable non glass container. Most bars serve drinks in a plastic cup which makes sense because you don't want broken glass with bare feet. Restaurants - We loved all the restaurants. The Italian was our favorite and Jolene was our favorite waitress. Jayson at the steakhouse was awesome too! You need to make reservations, so don't forget to do that the day before. The jerk chicken on the beach was amazing. Pool - We had a great time at all the pools. Bring sunscreen! Although adults only, the property is still a "young" property with lots of activities during the day & evening - a little something for everyone. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. Resort very quiet at night.. The pools are shallow (2'5") and not designed for swimming but one can do laps. The pools close at 6pm, which was disappointing but standard with many resorts. The rooms were very clean & well stocked with a variety of beverages. There are 5 restaurants - we tried the steakhouse, but found the buffet was our favorite as it provided a wide-variety of food choices that accommodated all dietary needs (including gluten free!). The beaches were as clean as they could be but there is always people who leave garbage around vs. depositing it in one of the many receptacles. Security patrols beaches at night. The property is across from a strip mall which has a grocery store, pharmacy and other small stores. I would recommend walking over to pick up any toiletries (we learned this the hard way after paying $10US for a 90ml bottle of Listerine at the hotel when we could have purchased at grocery store!). Similarly, if you are looking for the JBM coffee, purchase at the grocery store. One can walk safely to the mall within a few minutes - there is a free shuttle as well, but as with everything else there, nothing is really "free" - we took the shuttle once and were delivered to a gift store employee. Recommend for an all-inclusive experience.

Overall it was great! Performances were amazing! Will stay at the resort again but during the day I would definitely go to Riu Montego pool side

It was an amazing 5 days and 4 nights at the RIU Palace Jamaica. Other than a checking in issue, everything else was perfect! There so many activities and events going on all day and night. We also had access to RIU Reggae and RIU Montego Bay. Housekeeping came every morning and cleaned our rooms, we had the same severs for breakfast lunch and dinner (Dr. Phil and Audliy). The food was amazing! They had a variety of choices daily, Jamaican, fruits (including local), Sushi, desserts, ice cream, breads, salads, charcuterie, American, Italian, fresh cooking egg station, mimosas, bougie coffee. Mr. Grant checked on us every day to ensure we were having a great experience. Pool parties (Winston) and foam parties every day with the best crew (Gensis, Astro, and Sting Bean). Silent disco, live bands, Bingo, Face Painting, All White parties with its own showZ, with our favorite bartenders (Archer and Oral). All of the other guest were so friendly, most of us participated in the beach and pool activities; basketball, Olympics, pool workouts (dancing), and line dances! We walked across the street to one of the local malls where we could shop and do some sightseeing. Convenient pick up and drop. Off from the airport to the hotel. We would definitely recommend and go back ourselves! 5☆

I like the fact that you are able to go to the other locations (reggae & montego)when you stay at the Palace. I didnt like that you have to have a reservation for all the reataurants for dinner. We were not able to get reaervations so we had to eat from buffet & snack bars. I like the foam party & other pool parties but the pools get to crowded so it would be nice if all the resorts are doing those parties at the dame time so you can attend the one at the resort you booked at to avoid over crowding. The pools do close early (6pm). We were told that it takes 12 hrs for cleaning & chemicals. The stay was nice. I really enjoyed it. When youre on the beach the boat guys can be a little aggressive with getting your attention but if yiu ignore them or say youre good or not interested they leave you be. They really didnt bother us. The beach is nice but beware of the seaweed. Overall the stay was wonderful.

Riu Palace was amazing, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The buffets were pretty good, if I had any complaints the only thing I would say is that there was too much pork at breakfast and too many other options of meat. We had access to both of the other resorts and I gotta say that Riu Montego Bay is where all the fun was at. The pool was lit everyday we went especially on Friday. They also had other entertainment activities at night. I will definitely be coming back to Riu Palace

During our stay, my fiancée and I were part of the “Elite” group of guests. We had access to a separate pool with good quality sun beds. We also had access to separate a la carte dining options. Being “elite” was great as we could choose to relax in a quiet area or join the masses which was fun at times. I’d definitely recommend going elite as a couple.

I really enjoyed my stay at Mynt B&B. I got to the hotel a little early and was still able to check straight into my room. Valerie is very personable and cares deeply about the well-being of her guests. The room was clean and like the pictures. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared. It was specially adapted to my gluteen intolerance. There are many beautiful beaches in the area. I can recommend Doctors Cave. A beautiful and quiet beach not far from the hotel where you can really unwind. In the end, Valerie organized a transfer to the airport for me. When the driver was more than 5 minutes late, she dropped me there herself free of charge. It's remarkable how she had a direct solution and answer for all of my little holiday problems. I can definitely recommend the hotel and will vacation there again.

I liked the very relaxing atmosphere of Mynt Retreat. It's not a beachfront resort so if that's what you're looking for you should keep searching. The only downside is that Mynt Retreat is located right off a VERY busy road!! You will hear vehicles large and small whizzing by, honking their horns, at all times of day and night! If you're a sound sleeper, good for you. If you're a light sleeper like myself, you may want to bring some earplugs if you want a restful night's sleep. I'm became ill while in Montego Bay and Valerie, the owner of Mynt Retreat, and her very loyal employees, Whitney and Suzette, took excellent care of me. Many thanks to all three of these wonderful hard-working women!

We loved our stay at Mynt Retreat! Valerie was so helpful and kind. She went above and beyond to help us get acclimated to her country, plan our vacation, and getting around safely. Breakfast was phenomenal- highly recommend the Jamaican breakfast. Mynt is on the side a mountain with beautiful views of the ocean from the patio. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Peppas restaurant next door had really good authentic Jamaican food for a fair price. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The room was just fabulous. The breakfast was reasonable depending on what was chosen. A fruit platter beautifully prepared and presented each morning. Staff very friendly - more so the owner she was lovely. The views were stunning and the bed was e our ours and very comfy. There was also a nice bar and restaurant next door. There was also a very pretty garden to sit in as well as terrace. There were nice tables and chairs on shared terrace

Everything! The room was lovely, clean and spacious. Breakfast every morning which was just delicious. Really well located - a pretty easy 20 minute walk down to the strip, mere minutes by taxi. Highlight without a doubt was Valerie, Whitney and the rest of the staff who made us feel so relaxed and welcome! Thank you so much for a brilliant Christmas stay - we'll definitely be back!!

We LOVED everything about Hotel Grand A View! We stayed one night on the first floor facing the pool and two nights on the third floor facing the pool with a view of the ocean. Rooms were spacious with comfy beds and the facility was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. But, as previously mentioned, the hotel's strongest and best asset is their wonderful staff. We send appreciation for a wonderful stay at Hotel Grand A View to STUART REED who warmly greets guests as they enter, MARSHA who welcomes guests at the reception desk, MERVINA who always had a pleasant word and who took us to the airport when we left, and JANET with her beautiful smile who served us coffee and juice and always made sure everything was perfect for us. I hope I spelled everyone's names correctly! Thanks also go out to all the staff whose names I do not know but who made our stay so pleasurable!

everyone was nice and happy to help you in anyway possible. Rooms are very clean and spacious. TV allows you to get everything you could possibly want to watch. The day we ate breakfast was not s buffet but a full Jamaican breakfast with a fried dumpling, boiled dumpling, boiled green banana, white yam, swordfish with flat beans and steamer vegies. Nice pool but we did not swim on our stay. Not a luxury hotel by US standards but it certainly suited our needs very well. The shuttle runs at set times. To/from airport and the hip strip

I have to say this was my 1st time staying at a Resort in Jamaica. I usually would stay at my Grandmothers home but after visiting Jamaica as a child since 1981 wanted a true tourism experience and The Hotel Grand A View was the perfect place to stay. From the luxury marble floors, the dolphin pool and the amazing view which is on top of the deck. The complimentary breakfast was above par and I can’t wait to come back with my family. Pool and beach area were clean and the layout of both including the lunch buffet, beach grill and pool bar are easy to access and enjoy. Gym was great.

I personally can not express enough my deepest gratitude to the entire staff at the Iberostar hotel. My stay has exceeded my expectations. Staying at the Iberostar star felt like home away from home. I stayed at the grand, which gave you exclusive access to the other two hotels on site. The scenery, the ambient, the beach, the pool, the atmosphere, the food, the music, and the weather. This hotel is breathtaking and awesome. The staff is brilliant , checking in went smoothly. I was greeted with a warm welcome by all the staff. This hotel is extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The room and the bed were equally comfortable. The bedding and the towels were comfy and soft against your skin. The entire staff, housekeepers, cleaners, securities, and the chef 👨‍🍳 were excellent. The food is excellent and there's lots of different types of cuisine to choose from, which is really good. I was thoroughly impressed by the level of service that I was given during my stay. There's absolutely no question about returning back to the Iberostar in the very near future. Money well spent. Iberostar is simply the best !!!!! You are in my top 10 hotel. I am a solo traveller travelling from Europe to Africa, South East Asia, Canada, America, and the Caribbean. I have stayed in 5 Stars Hotel, and this is my first time staying at the Iberostar. I have absolutely no regret booking this hotel. Thumps up.

The beach and the pool area were very Caribbean. The food was exceptional. I only wish I could have stayed longer. And my butler fixed me a bath. It was ready when I got back from my excursion. Nothing like it

There was a great jerk chicken food truck on the beach. The beach was always clean, calm waters and always a chair with shade available. The pool was clean and had fun activities. Always a chair or day bed available. There was always food available: room service, poolside, beach, restaurants (buffet especially). Breakfast was good. The staff was accommodating and friendly. The bar was good. There was always alcohol available from 6am to 2/3am.

My room was large and very comfortable. The AC worked well and there was always plenty of hot water for showers. The food was good, but I wish there was more alternatives for breakfast and lunch. The lunch truck was OK, but I like jerk chicken and Jamaican patties. The burgers were not very good and there wasn't much else to choose from. So, almost all days were at the buffet. I picked a bad time of year to go for food because they did not serve lobster while I was there. The beach was clean and the ocean was very warm. The pools were also very clean (perhaps not as warm as the ocean), but very noisy. The singers in the lobby bar were great. The live singing and violin at the pool at 4pm was very unexpected, but very good (way better than the noise from the DJ).

I booked the Iberostar resort primarily for its kids' water park, expecting an average experience, but it far exceeded our expectations. The resort was impeccably clean and well-organized, from the spacious, spotless rooms to the seamless check-in process. My wife, who is particular about cleanliness due to her OCD, was thoroughly impressed and had no complaints about the room, which we requested to be pristine. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with refreshing drinks, and the staff, from bellboys to front desk, ensured everything ran smoothly. Doreen and Sean at the main pool bar were exceptional, going above and beyond to cater to our needs, including crafting a variety of virgin drinks for the kids. While the restaurants were satisfactory rather than extraordinary, they surpassed our expectations. The steak and seafood restaurant stood out, offering delicious shrimp in their surf and turf dish (note: lobster is unavailable in April and May due to fishing regulations). We encountered a minor issue when a clean water pipe burst in our room, but the staff resolved it within an hour with remarkable efficiency. They immediately offered to upgrade our room, though my wife declined, preferring not to repack. The professionalism and politeness of the entire staff were outstanding, leaving us with nothing negative to say.

Liked - most staff were great - especially check in agents, buffet staff and entertainment (Stretch and Ruth and fitness instructors). Food was average to great, depending on the restaurant. Property was in good condition and there was lots of activities. Rooms were big and in good condition. What could use work? - staff at gym entrance were dismissive and rude; pool/beach bars don't have enough staff and were not overly pleasant. They definitely have the toughest jobs with all the drinking adults but they ignored anyone without money in their hands, especially the kids.

First choice for a reasonable stay on the Hip Strip. Clean facilities, friendly staff. Nice patio area. Pool on site. Central to everything including restaurants, casino, club, shopping, beach, STARBUCKS lol! And minutes away from the airport. I always recommend since my first stay last year when they opened. Free breakfast daily. They were accommodating when I requested a room change for a different view. Room attendants were very polite. Big up my waitress friend (Zascrise, forgot her name lol) and Geo at the front desk! Cozy, I do recommend! The place a COME ON lol BAP BAP! I have to check out the spa next time. Soon come!

This is a beautiful hotel. I recommend requesting an ocean view. Service was very friendly. Clean room. The shower was a little dirty only where the shower divider on the floor was because it looked like it was rusting a bit. Other than that I had a great experience. Breakfast was nice. Location is nice too and close to the beach with a few nice restaurants and good shops. Casinos close, I didn’t feel safe walking by myself at night but hotel I felt safe in. Pool area is nice too. Great price and value

Great hotel - Reasonably priced with lovely views of the sea and sunset. Family and friends were able to visit in the lobby area with no issues. Some hotels do not offer this. Excellent location - Harmony Beach Park and Garden, a 10 minute stroll down the road, as well as a supermarket. Busy front road, which I actually enjoyed. Exceptional staff - Georgette, Nada, Asheign, Movada, Giovanni to name but a few. Delicious breakfast - the kitchen staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay an amazing one, including making different types of porridge each day. Any issues including a slight water leakage in the bathroom was dealt with promptly. My only observation is that at least two servers should be available each day for breakfast so hotel guests (or non hotel guests who pay for their breakfast) are not waiting long to be served. Georgette and Nada and the other two servers (whose names I have forgotten) did an excellent job at serving when on their own but they were generally run off their feet during the breakfast sitting. A more streamlined breakfast experience would benefit both patrons of the hotel and servers.

Yes, the hotel is a little older and maybe not so modern but it was very clean and our room had everything we needed. Dining options were decent. Buffet was great with lots of food options. My kids loved the magic show and the pool foam party! The one thing that was annoying were the locals at the main swimming area constantly trying to sell stuff including weed however I think it's like that at any Jamaican resort. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. I will most likely stay there again next time in Jamaica.

I stayed here with my family for 4 nights and we all really enjoyed our stay. I’ve been to many resorts in Jamaica and this one stands out! The Christmas decorations were so festive. The staff were great, all so nice and welcoming. As for the food options, they had everything that your eyes and heart can desire. The entertainment team, especially for Michael Jackson night and poolside was fantastic! The pool and beach were awesome, always available seating and close to food/bars which was a plus. We are planning on doing a huge family trip here next year as this resort has it all-ice cream bar, hibachi, jerk hut, ton of food/bars-perfect for all ages!

We just returned from a 4 night stay at Iberostar Waves Resort. I feel like I need to break it down to different sections. Food - we all thought the food was really good. Our chef at the hibachi - Paris - was great and made the experience so fun. We did not have a bad meal while we there. The beach was OK. It had lots of seaweed and was dirty. Lots are garbage. One in five beach chairs were broke, but there were plenty of them. The hotel room was nice. Nothing that made you go "wow" when you walked in, but I can't say anything bad about it. The staff was really great. Very friendly and helpful. The entertainment in the evening was really good. A big variety. Highly recommend going to the Rocktails show. The pool area was nice but the water was so cold. They had lots of activities around the pool all day. Overall, it wasn't the nicest resort we've stayed at but there were more good things than bad things!

We had an amazing time at the resort—truly a beautiful place with fantastic amenities and friendly staff. The property itself is stunning, with everything you could hope for in a relaxing getaway. However, the check-in process left a bit to be desired. We arrived early as our flight came in at 10am. We were enthusiastically greeted by the staff but was informed that the rooms wouldn’t be ready until 3pm which was understandable as that is the usual check-in time. Once it was close to 3pm we were asked to come back multiple times to check in because the rooms weren’t ready. It was frustrating after a long trip, especially with no clear timeline after a long day of travel. That said, the situation was handled professionally, and the staff eventually upgraded our room as a courtesy, which was a nice gesture and definitely improved our stay. Once we were settled in, everything was top-notch. The upgraded room was spacious, clean, and had incredible views. The food, beach and pool was great! Despite the rocky start, the rest of our experience more than made up for it. Would definitely return—just hoping for a smoother check-in next time!

Went on a trip with my girlfriend to celebrate our graduation and it was amazing! Everyone we met was so nice and social, and the entertainers by the pool are always energetic and made us laugh. We tried the Japanese, Italian, and smokehouse restaurants and they were all amazing. I would definitely try to reserve these restaurants rather than going to the buffet every night to switch it up a bit. Also, the jerk chicken by the beach is a great alternative to sitting down at the buffet, especially if you want some great food fast. Our room was amazing and we had a great view and the bartenders are so nice. There is always entertainment from morning to night with time to relax as well. The ambassador, Asani is amazing and made sure our trip was unforgettable!

So if you want a quiet place,this may not be for you. Though I highly recommend enjoying the vibes of the people. Also you can walk on over to the beach, which was a big plus. The beaches weren’t as crowded and you can enjoy the calmness of it. The restaurant section was modern with the options of traditional American or Jamaican dishes. We enjoyed the options! Very clean and quiet hotel. The area it is in, can get noisy at night due to parties , but it is very quiet inside the hotel and you won't notice it. Very professional staff and amazing rooftop pool with views of Caribbean sea. A popular beach is very nearby walking distance. Loved the spa service. My room was exceptionally clean and high end.

This is an honest review. The property is beautiful. The view of the ocean is amazing. The room we were in had an outstanding view of the water, very modest and tame. walls are a little thin so be comfortable about how loud you can get. You can walk on the deck and swim in the ocean at your own risk.The staff was great. They treated us like family and anytime we had a question they were there to help guide us. Don’t expect it to be like a five star hotel, this is a guest house for a reason. It has a cozy at home vibe. As much as you are a guest you are also coming into someone else’s home always respect them. They aren’t here to tend to your every single need 24hrs a day they have their own lives to live with their families, they do their very best in their service. The breakfast in the morning was great it was different every morning of our stay and it wasn’t to simple or to sophisticated. This is a place for those looking to be outside a hotel or resort setting. Smoking is allowed out on the deck of the property; Cigarettes or what Bob Marley enjoyed (some fire). Keep that in mind for those that don’t smoke. All in all it was simple yet beautiful. For those looking for something more rustic you can enjoy yourself and relax.

This hotel is the perfect place to have a small destination wedding.It is very affordable and right on the ocean. You can walk out on the long deck and watch a school of fish swim by. I stayed in the large room on the second floor, which had a grand view of the ocean. The owner, Mr. Robinson, was extremely helpful, friendly, and informative. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable. I mentioned that I wanted to eat some fruits that are not available in the US. Mr. Robinson served some of those fruits in my complementary breakfast every morning. The property is clean and it is relaxing. You can sit outside the room on the tiled veranda, listen to the ocean waves, take in the breathtaking views, and watch the cruise ships come in from afar. I didn’t have a car, but that wasn’t a problem. Mr. Robinson called one of his licensed tour guide friends (Robert) and asked him to escort me around the island. Robert’s fees were reasonable and I felt safe with him as a single woman. Robert was extremely informative about the area, and a patient driver. He took me to get a limestone massage, Rick’s Café, & Margaritaville. I had such a wonderful time in Jamaica. I would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone.

What a lovely mansion-like room! I only needed a one night stay before returning to the U.S. the next day but wow, next time I'm in Montego Bay I recommend that anyone stay at this great home away from home. Very comfortable, spacious, quiet, has beautiful scenery and pleasant staff. The owners should be proud of themselves. I booked a garden view room but they upgraded me to a huge ocean view room with a serene and gorgeous view of the water. I think the Water's Edge bathroom was about as big as the room I stayed in Kingston (I choose the room but still...). They have a taxi driver named Robert who was reasonable, a consummate gentleman and played great music in the car on the way to the airport as he knew I loved reggae. Big up Robert! The food was tasty and I appreciated the sweet plantain for breakfast in the morning. Don't hesitate to try this 7 bedroom bed and breakfast. You will LOVE it.

We came to the Water's Edge Guest House just 3 days after burying someone very close to us and 3 days before big wedding festivities. This was the perfect spot to center ourselves. We were able to reflect and grieve in a environment that was warm and friendly, and quiet. It gave us the space to be able to fully enjoy and celebrate the nuptials of other loved ones. Be sure to order your meals in advance. Jay, who it so hospitable, can coooook! The food was delicious! And enough! Peter was great to talk to. And he climbed up to get us some June plums (my 1st time eating it) and climbed again to cut down coconuts for us. Robert was the driver they arranged to transport us. Great guy! My only criticism, if I have to, was that my towels weren't soft and the bathroom soaps weren't to my liking. But really, so what. Stay here.

Stayed for 5 full days not including travel days. Here's my review: Pros: -Nice beach/only about 3 feet deep. Perfect if you have young children. -Close to airport, "Hip-Strip", "Doctor's Cave" beach. -Buffet food is pretty much average in comparison to other all inclusives, which I guess is all you can ask for. -Swimming pool is big enough. -Lots of options for snacks during the day.(Ice cream station, sandwich station, crepes station, jerk-hut) Cons: -Their restaurants are absolutely horrendous. You're better off just eating at the buffet. I ate at their Italian restaurant. I had the lasagna. They were to cheap to use real tomato sauce, or even the canned stuff. Instead they opted to squirt ketchup all over the rubbery, probably microwaved lasagna. It was so gross, I literally took one bite and was done. I left with my family who also ate none of their entrees after we ate desert, which actually was not bad. We ate at the buffet after to fill up. Catalonio needs to do better here. -here's only like 6 or 7 umbrellas around this big pool. I mean, c'mon. Can you invest in some more? It's a joke to have so few. -Rooms are seriously outdated. -Shower in my mother in laws room didn't work. We complained, they never fixed it. She had to take a bird bath every day. They offered her a room switch, but who wants to pack again after completly unpacking? How about they just inspect the room and make sure everything is fully functioning before giving it out? -Safe didn't work either.

The property is really nice. The service was beyond great. They should made a few adjustments. The pool closes way too early, along with the hot tub, the walk to get beach towels shouldn’t be that far it should be a little closer to the pool and beach entrance. I booked the queen size bed garden view the beds felt like a full size. My room key kept glitching I had to get that changed a few times. I also didn’t invite the cats in the dining area.

We had the best time at Catalonia in Montego Bay!!! I’m having post vacation blues currently. It was literally paradise. The resort is so beautiful and clean, the rooms were so clean and comfortable, the food was absolutely delicious especially the specialty restaurants, the drinks are SO good and strong. I recommend the Jamaican rum punch, coconut mojitos and the Bob Marley drink is so good! The pool bar was a blast we met so many amazing people. The employees are amazing, so welcoming and kind. We loved the jerk chicken but it’s absolutely delicious. I don’t even have one complaint about this resort. The only thing I could see people complaining about is that there are a few cats on premises but they’re the cutest things ever and they actually made our vacation. I have so many pictures of us petting them. Little sweeties. They’re so friendly and it doesn’t smell like cat at all. We will be back! ❤️

Nice spacious room, it was clean and the AC on. Check-in was fast and smooth, at the reception. Poolside views are a plus. I just wish the rooftop patio was accessible as it is shown in the pictures. Proximity to the airport and Sunset beach is a plus.

Very close to the airport and town. Staff were great. The pool is very nice. You have private bathroom and bedroom, shared living room and great wifi as well. Great price, very old building but clean and yard is very nice with beautiful plants.

The staff was friendly (specially the front desk) and very helpful, nice clean pool, beautiful garden, the room was very spacious and confortable with all amenities necessary. The place is quiet and the price is excellent. I will definitely recommend it!

For the price and basic accommodations the place was ok, the staff especially a couple of the guys seemed eager to be helpful and the view from the place was excellent. The pool area was kind of the highlight of the place with sweeping mountain and valley views and the pool was very clean & well maintained. TV in the room didn't get working after the receptionist first turned it on it started downloading a program guide but eventually was useless but I didn't come here to watch TV, though I like watching the morning local news with my coffee but unfortunately no one seemed to be attending the coffee maker in this reception room they had and it was messy & unappealing. It's location was decent to walk down the hillside to the center of town & the beach took me only about 15 minutes so if you a quiet peaceful vacation close to town but out of the tourist zone you'll like the place for sure.

Good location, close to the airport, some form of transport needed, hotel can provide or get a driver for you (at extra cost). Although not really a resort, the accommodation was clean, adequate and reasonably priced. Rooms could do with some updating but very authentic style. The views are beautiful, the food excellent and the pool and pool areas extremely clean, well kept and scattered with lush plants around. The staff and the Sterlings are very helpful and make you feel welcome and at home. We used it as a base to travel around from and had a great two week stay, would definitely stay here again and recommend it. The only complaint we had was the antiquated phone system, which really needs updating NOW.

I absolutely loved my entire stay here. I got my money’s worth. I felt very safe and the staff was so friendly. Verney House will be my go to from now on! Thank you especially to Sanjay for helping me get food delivered, showing me around the beautiful property and for overall just making my time there enjoyable. Miss Jackie checked me in and she was sweet too! The pool was clean and the little shop next to it had my favorite cheese sticks! 10s across the board I can’t wait to go back!

I am so happy that I didn’t listen to the previous reviews. I found the property to be pretty clean including my room! I had a small unit fridge a working TV, working AC and access to Hot water! They also have a small snack shop with drinks and smaller snacks however there’s no restaurant on site. They checked me in early gave me the best care ever and my room was very comfortable and cozy. Swimming in the pool and having access to fresh mango trees was an added bonus!

The staff was exceptional as were the views!!! Marvin and Orane doted on us like we were their daughters. We were cared for in every way. They were humble and kind. We felt very safe. Marvin cooked us the most flavorful and delightful meals from bean stew, brown stew chicken to vegetable rice and ackee and vegetables. Knowing all the hotels in Montego bay I was interested to try this place. 1. rooms clean, well maintained 2. price, inexpensive 3. location good, 5 min walk to beach 4. Only negative if a holiday maker would be lack of beach access/pool offering met the owner who was obviously passionate about the hotel - tis attitude can only mean this place is on the up - well done and hopefully the customers/reputation keeps on the up! will be back

I liked the room space and the set up. I like the ponds with tbr fish and turtles and I liked that it had a bar and skating area. I wish it had more engaging things to do and a pool.

After reading the reviews I was a little sceptical what me and SL there was only that place to stay I ended up booking and thank goodness what a lovely hotel the staff are really friendly and cannot do enough to help the place is very clean I am definitely OCD and I didn’t have any complaints everywhere was very clean the rooms were cleaned every day the bedlinen was top quality and the bed was really lovely to sleep in It’s very close to everything there is a small beach called dead end beach about six minutes walk from the hotel and they are very close to restaurants and local small supermarkets I have just about everything you need and more the manager was really lovely as we had a little problem with the door key and came and fixed that straightaway the grounds were beautiful it’s just a really nice place to stay and close to everything I would highly recommend it And for those that are worried about safety hundred percent the place is definitely very secure I always felt safe during the day and during the night

All was great my only issue was with the schedule for the pool, they close that at 5pm should be until 10pm

The Grand Decameron Cornwell Beach is a pretty nice resort. Beautiful clean beaches and nice clean pools. The bars are nice and the staff is engaging. The dining experience has plenty options. Plenty to do, even if it rains. We were able to catch two live shows. They were both amazing. We stayed 5 days/4 nights. I was celebrating my 54 birthday. The resort is literally 4 minutes from the airport. You actually can see the planes landing from the beach! So cool!!! Check in was easy-peazy! The WiFi was just ok, not the greatest. But would I stay again? The answer is yes. One suggestion, invest in some anti slip flip flops. Next time I wlll. Look for Courtney, Rodney, Jerome (front desk) and Samuel (lifeguard). Have fun….

Awesome stay, enjoyed the entertainment on site. We love that we were able to access the Montego Beach property. Pools were clean and quiet for great relaxation. Buffet had great food options, however the snack bar at nights had limited options. Staffs were superb. Will definitely return.

I'll applaud each and everyone that's working at Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach. From the time I checked in with my family and friends we were greeted with a smile. To the waitresses, waiters and bartenders were excellent especially Mr. Andre also know as Dre you were exceptional. Food was amazing, every single thing I ate I enjoyed, thank you chefs. The entertainment team you guys were amazing, I enjoyed the magic show. My overall experience here was phenomenal. Thank you all for an amazing experience and I'll be back.

The best value for an all inclusive you will find on this beautiful island. Staff is amazing - from management (special shout out to Charmaine!) to the entertainers to the waitstaff to the bartenders to the porters to housekeeping (bring your own wash clothes!) to security to the lifeguards to the chefs to the maintenance crew…who did I miss? Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcomed. Beautifully maintained beaches, pools, and grounds reflect the hard work and dedication of the staff. Rooms are clean and are a bit dated, which made no difference to me as I was hardly in it because there is so much to do between the beaches, pools, food, and the (very interactive and fun!) entertainment.

This was my second trip to this hotel. I caution you not to rate your opinion on all the negative reviews. I give this place 5 stars even though it’s a 3 star resort. I have traveled a lot, been to over 10 countries. I am not a boujee traveler and I’m okay with an outdated shower. I prefer places that offer charm, relaxation, friendly staff and character…if this is you then you will fall in love with this place. Water is hot Food is amazing Pools are clean Drinks are strong Beaches are beautiful I’m not sure what more you could ask for? There are stray cats around the property but this will be anywhere you go on the island. 5 min drive from the airport which will run you $20usd. Book it and try for yourself, you can’t beat the price for everything that you will be getting.

We had a wonderful time at this resort. The food was better than expected, I loved their Big Bamboo drink, and the beach / pool areas were clean & gorgeous to be at. We also enjoyed a massage while there and it was beyond relaxing. I highly recommend this resort, if you don’t mind things being slightly outdated (the rooms)! We had no issues with anything, but the noise levels from the entertainment on site in the evening could be deterring to some. The room was clean. The view from the balcony was unbeatable! The sunsets and sunrises from the balcony were perfect.

If you enjoy a laid back vibe this is your place. Do not book if you prefer a 5 star resort because this isn’t it. I have zero complaints. The water was hot, food was good and drinks were strong. You will have access to two hotels. So you will have 3 pools and 3 beaches. The food is amazing, breakfast was my favorite. Take water shoes and sunscreen. Close walking distance to shops if you care to leave the report but everything is the same and you can get almost everything at the airport on your way home.

The resort was amazing. The beach was clean, very clear water, the pool and sauna were amazing. Their staff were really amazing really showed they care. They have 24 hours security strategically placed around the resort so there's always a good feeling as it relates to safety. All u can eat buffet style restaurant, a grill and several bars. There's so much more to say but u have to really experience it for yourself, my time there with my wife was amazing .

This is a small hotel that needs some work and updates, but the staff is nice. I like the access to pool/private beach & Spiritz restaurant. I enjoy this little jewel 💓

I did not enjoyed the first night in the hotel due to insects in the room, but next morning when I talked with management, it made all the difference in the world because they were so kind and professional with our group. Courtesy, empathy and professionalism goes a long way when we get service and manager Deyver really made our experience in the hotel so special that there is no other hotel in the area that we would visit. I will definitely keep coming back to Cariblue Resort.

Hotel view is amazing, the room was large, bed was so comfortable. Renovations being done but does not effect my stay. The staff were friendly, helpful and made me feel very safe. I y has a great restaurant next door and a convenience store here as well so everything is very easy and accessible.

It is beautiful quite and have a private beach. I love it the people are very friendly
