Lovely food in the restaurant. We were in the cottage enjoying privacy and the private pool.

The best hotel from our Italian roadtrip. Every detail was excellent and I couldn't recommend this hotel more. On arrival, you are given a nice welcome drink on the terrace with a beatuful view whilst they sort all the details out and deliver your luggage to your room. The room was superb - very well decorated, very clean, comfy bed, and unbelievably good view from the balcony. The staff were attentive, considerate and polite. Some of the nicest hotel staff I've dealt with for a long time. The dinner at the restaurant was some of the best food of our trip as well. So good that we only at dinner there for our entire stay. Wonderful specials and the waiters were attentive, and gave wonderful tips on wine selection. They even chose one of the daily specials as they knew it was my wifes favourite! The breakfast buffet was excellent, everything you would normally expect but at better quality than usual. They squeeze the orange just for you whilst you are there! A very nice swimming pool with comfortable surroundings. The staff even come round occasionally asking if you want anything brought to you. This list could go on for a long time - simply a wonderful hotel. It's the quality of a lot of 5* hotels I've stayed in, but much better value. We are defintely going back there one day.

The hotel is in a stunning location with views over the lake for breakfast,lunch & evening drinks. The staff are excellent,very helpful & pleasant nothing too much trouble. The pool was very welcome after a hot day exploring the area although not very many beds available & the sun bed cushions really could do with being replaced,. The breakfast choice was really good,excellent choice of fresh fruit,bakery & eggs. We ate at the hotel for dinner both nights & the food,wine & service is exceptional,some of the best dinners we had on our trip. Definitely book dinner here you will not be disappointed & the setting is very pretty . Good area for cycling,hiring bikes down near the lake is easy,& there is a lovely ride all around the lake mostly on bike lanes but not totally, some short bits on roads with traffic. One of our best hotels of the trip & thank you we would thoroughly recommend to others.

This hotel gives you a 5 star welcome in an amazing location overlooking the lake. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the balcony in our room had a fabulous view. The addition of the pool and jacuzzi were very relaxing. We ate in the restaurant both nights and would highly recommend it.

We liked everthing and particularly the staff who are amazing Our room was very confortable, the pool area is nice and secluded; and of course the restaurant is great. We really felt pampered at I due Roccoli

Great stay, really nice hotel with great staff. We paid extra for the suite with the private pool and it was great for the view and the pool but it was disappointing that it also had a connecting door to another room that you could hear everything from. Highly recommend if you bring ear plugs.

We had 4 amazing days with a private pool on the roof top terrass. Friendly staff, free parking and good service! Just a 10 min walk to the main center and 3 min to the beach

The property was very nice. It was in a mixed residential/hotel area. Room had room for suitcase. The shower was large with a rainfall shower. The staff were very gracious and kind. They went beyond my expectations. Bar staff brought soft drinks and ice to my room. Plenty of lawn chairs and umbrellas. Only drawback was the icy cold pool. The water at the lake was much warmer than the hotel pool. It cost 8.5 euros to rent lounge chair and umbrella at the beach. The beach and lake bottom are rocky. Wear your water shoes.

Ideal location a short walk into the town Lovely views of the mountains great pool with lots of beds and umbrellas. Spa was spotlessly clean and good Breakfast was excellent and very clean and good selection Waiter service around the pool was excellent a real treat. Rooms were very clean and modern. Exceptional receptionist nothing was too much trouble even dropping us to the train station when we couldn’t get a taxi outstanding customer service thank you. We had a lovely stay and would come back again

The property was beautiful and located in a calm area, just 10 minutes from the city center. The room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony overlooking Lake Garda. The pool area was perfect with plenty of sun beds and one jacuzzi as well as a spacious swimming pool, which could have been a few degrees hotter. Breakfast was perfect with plenty of choices including fresh fruit, different pastries, scrambled eggs as well as a coffee bar which you could order anything from at any time.

Lovely staff, good food and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our overall experience at this hotel. A couple of minor glitches i.e. safe not working and lost TV reception on last night. The hotel gym was very good. Food in restaurant is excellent and the cafe/bakery/bar (difficult to categorise) next door was fabulous. Try any of the ice creams, coffees, cakes or chocolates and you will not be disappointed. Not a great deal to do in immediate vicinity, but very good central launching point for day trips by car. Only downside is that I think the charge for access to spa and outside space to hotel guests is excessive. Though the spa pool is very attractive, it is a spa pool not a swimming pool (bit misleading).

An unusual hotel!. The bedrooms at the front are all glass so the blinds went up and down like yo yos. We were at the front so nearby houses could see in. It was a bit like being in a goldfish bowl To have any privacy the blinds were dropped but then you lost the views. .Due to the expensive local stone which lines the walls in the bathroom, there are no towel rails so get used to leaving them on the floor. The hotel has a chocolate factory and coffee shop at which hotel guests get a discount. This was very popular with the locals due to the variety of cakes for sale both to take out and eat in. We tried a couple and they were delicious. The hotel had a spa but was fully booked on our arrival. We did have the use of a very small outdoor pool and loungers The menu in the restaurant did not appeal to my husband ( he is a steak and chips person) and we went to look unsuccessfully for an alternative. There was non so back to the hotel we went. The food was lovely and even my husband enjoyed his meal. Breakfast was a feast! Each table had its own buffet and more kept coming. We asked for a doggy bag and left with a small picnic. The staff were very good and helpful. We very much enjoyed our overnight stay

It felt like an oase, green scenery, quiet, peaceful, incredible staff, amazing breakfast, pool open till midnight and the gym was my favorite place. Also 30 min away from Como, great location. I totally recommend this hotel.

The staff was great and the food excellent. The room was nice size and comfortable. My only gripes with this hotel are 1) location is in the middle of know where 2) the room was VERY hot and the in-room A/C wasn't functioning because they were actually controlling it from a central area and they were trying to save money or something...but I slept miserable due to the excessive heat even with the windows open. I asked the staff to turn down the temp in our room, but whatever they did didn't seem to help. Opening windows helped a little but of course allows bugs in, so heat or heat and mosquitoes either way not a good solution and 3) the spa is nice, but the water in ALL of the pools needs to be heated....way too cold. This a very modern and unusual place and I would recommend it as well as stay there again....only in the cooler months. ;-)

Great design and friendly personel. Trouble is, the sleek room design makes for unclosable toilet door and complicated lighting system. Oh, and no real mirror. The spa (a nice small indoor pool, steam room and an outside tub) should be free, considered it's really small, and not 20 Euros per person for an hour. I might consider coming back if in the region, but with slightly lower expectations.

In the ground floor there is a huge living room with dinning room and open fully equipped kitchen. In the basement there is your own gym and sauna with its own batheoom. In the same floor there is your huge private parking which can fit 4 cars at least. The private huge pool and nice garden is yours also. Everything in the villa is luxurious with smart home features and taking care every single detail. The view of the Garda lake whether from the pool or specially from the top floor master bedroom let you feel that the high price paid is worth. The restaurant is good not super. The staff are very nice as well.

A wonderful brand-new hotel just opened. Amazing design amazing facilities great location but what really highlighted this hotel for me is the staff. Thomas at reception was extremely helpful . Big thanks to Lucas at the restaurant looked after us so well . Special thanks for another person sorry we forgot his name starts with A, that gave us cigarettes free when we could not buy it was out of hours. Even though this hotel is New, the owners have multiple hotels and brought some of their most experienced guys. The restaurant is Michelin star grade food make sure you stay for dinner. The area surrounding is full of trails and beautiful places they have amazing electric bikes that you can take around the area. Spa has an amazing sauna and indoor outdoor swimming pool. The hotel room is fantastic brand-new fresh beds great mattress amazing view from the helicopter pad. I think you can arrive to this hotel on a helicopter as well. We absolutely loved our trip and will be back again for sure.

Everything was just perfect. The view is absolutely breathtaking, breakfasts were excellent, and the hotel’s design is stylish and thoughtfully curated. The staff deserves special praise – they’re truly top-notch. We arrived before the official check-in time, but our room was already ready and we were welcomed immediately. My clothes were washed and returned in no time. We were also given full access to the pool and spa whenever we wanted, without strict time slots – which made the stay feel extra relaxed and luxurious.

Loved the location of this hotel, set back on the hillside.. you do need to get transport up and down though to the main town..It was a very peaceful setting if that is what you enjoy. The staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.. Breakfast was a delight on the outdoor terrace… The pool and Sauna / steam room were a very lovely added extra.. The hotel is very nicely kept and was spotless throughout.. The grounds and view were beautiful..

It has a magnificent view of the lake, the service is superb, the breakfast is amazing. The spa is also well equipped with a cool pool which has an indoor-outdoor connection. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting lake Garda.

Superb interior design, brilliantly well equipped kitchen, quality bedding, lovely indoor and outdoor space and every bedroom huge and gorgeous, generous extras like lovely honey, Nutella, loads of coffee. A really special place for a treat. We loved it. Short walk downhill on cobbles to village, steep walk up (if you've got older people in your group), otherwise a nice bit of exercise. Local restaurant 2 mins walk away

Our stay in Casa Santo Stefano was just perfect. The location is great, the design of the whole Casa and the rooms is unbelievable, not to mention about the host. He is very kind and helpful. The breakfast included a variety of goodies, all handmade and delicious. There is a private parking also. Highly recommended.

We spent a few wonderful days at Claudia’s house and truly couldn’t have asked for more. The property is beautiful – clean, tastefully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the peaceful garden, the refreshing pool, and having breakfast outside with a view of the mountains. As a small family with a toddler, we felt incredibly welcome. The house was spacious and safe, and our little one loved exploring the garden and splashing around in the water. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind, far away from the crowds. Claudia and Martina were kind, attentive, and always reachable. The self check-in worked flawlessly, and communication was fast and friendly throughout. A highlight was the local market in Colico – a charming little town just a few minutes away. We would absolutely love to return, and we’re grateful to Claudia and Giuseppe for their warm hospitality. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking for a quiet escape with true Italian charm!

The villa was gorgeous and really well looked after. The gardens were super peaceful and the views of the mountains to die for. The pool was perfect for cooling off and lounging in the sun. There were loads of great trails nearby for running or walking, which was a big bonus. Claudia was also really helpful and made everything easy. Lots of great recommendations and help with reservations. Some great local restaurants but to be honest with such a lovely Villa to enjoy and well equipped kitchen we cooked and enjoyed the privacy of the Villa. Local lake beach a short walk away - kayaks can be hired for bobbing around the bay, lots of fun! Day trip to Milan by train was easy (trains cheap and efficient unlike the UK!). We had such a great time and would definitely come back!

Fantastic villa nestling in the hills around Como. Easy access by train and car. Kitchen had everything you could ever need and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless. The Host was friendly and helpful and responded to anything we asked about promptly. Will definitely be going again

The host, Claudia, was fantastic. So friendly and kind, she even went out of her way to pick us up from the local train station in the rain, and provided pizza on our arrival, which was really helpful as all the supermarkets were shut.

A beautiful view no matter where you stand at on the property. And Luda is amazing and so helpful. She helped us plan our travel to the winery, which was really worth the trip. I would recommend that to everyone. Also the bus stops right by the villa so if you choose to use it, the c120 bus is what you wanna take up or down depending on where you wanna go.

This is a very great location! It's very proper, the view is astonishing, the air is very clean, one of the most clean areas of Italy. The hosts are incredibly nice and helpful. We've travelled a lot, but never stayed anywhere with hosts like this. There's a great garden, nice and big swimmingpool, the rooms and bathrooms are fabulous. When you want to stay anywhere near the Como lake or Lugano lake, book this place, you won't regret!

Ludmila was a fantastic host, who went above and beyond. When we were on our way to the villa we got stranded half an hour away with 2 flat tires on our rental car and no taxi service available. She came with her neighbour and picked us up. During our short stay she was very helpful and always on hand The villa itself and the garden was charming and nicely located. Very comfortable beds, well furbished bathroom and good coffee machine

I can’t say enough about this amazing and beautiful Villa! The views are just breathtaking! The Villa itself is spacious, clean, open and airy. The outdoor space is perfect! There are restaurants within walking distance. Gloria was so pleasant, attentive and informative. She was so helpful with any questions we had.

We have no breakfast provided, we were not expected.

The house was perfect for our group of 15 people from several different families. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and a good size. The outside facilities (pool, sauna, steam room, table tennis, fussball, etc.) were great for relaxing and having fun, and the sound system kept the mood. The outside seating was excellent for group dinners. The donkeys, horses and cows were great company, too! The house was also a great starting point for lots of hiking and running opportunities in the mountains. There were several restaurants in short walking distance that were really nice - Rusall, La Fagurida, and Al Veluu in particular. The small paths made it easy to get down to Tremezzo - although the walk up again in the heat was a bit much for some! Guiseppe was a great host and very responsive to any needs or questions.

Lots of space in this beautiful house, swimming pool and hot tub were very nice. Grounds were beautiful, loved the donkeys. Host was friendly and attentive, facilities were all great. We had an amazing time and would love to come back.

Podere Brughee is peaceful and relaxing. We were a group of 8 family and friends and all were so comfortable. The internet was good! Giuseppe was so helpful.

Giuseppe was a great host and responded to questions quickly and helpfully. The accommodation was stunning and the gazebo with sound system just brilliant.

Perfectly clean, great equipment, very easy and clear communication with Guiseppe! Thanks!

Our stay at the villa was unforgettable. The panoramic view of the lake, sunsets and mountains took our breath away daily. The villa is spacious, very clean, and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay, whether you’re a family or a group of friends. Even though the weather was spring-like, the warm outdoor pool with jacuzzi features made it a joy to swim and relax throughout the day. The kitchen had everything we needed, and both sauna and hammam were great highlights. I can also mention outdoor sauna with a view over Como and mountains, from which you can go into relatively cold plunge/shower also outdoors - and then back to sauna to enjoy the view and relax. The villa is peacefully located right on the lakefront. There was a barbecue area, though we didn’t get a chance to use it. Special thanks to Alizée for being so attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The sweets for breakfast were delicious! The only downside? Time passed too quickly — we truly didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful villa with lovely gardens in a quieter part of the Lake Como area. The beach and Onnolulu bar (for drinks and kayak rental) are just across the road. Alizee and her team do a great job of making sure that the guests are looked after.

It is incredibly spacious, with several bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, providing great comfort and privacy for everyone. The kitchen is large and well-equipped with all the necessary cookware including pots and pans of every size. One of the highlights is the beautiful view of Lake Garda, which we enjoyed every day. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to all the attractions around the lake. Additionally, there is a supermarket nearby, which made shopping very convenient. We highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay near Lake Garda!

Mauro and Alessandra are great and kind hosts, and they make the stay very comfortable and welcoming. The house is spotless, and great for families with children. The location is close to all Garda attractions. Highly recommended!

The pool was perfect for keeping cool whilst also being able to enjoy the amazing views. Our hosts were very helpful and the local guide was invaluable. They were also very helpful in accommodating our very early morning departure. Loved it!

The house was a great fit for our family! Everything was new and clean, well equipped the host was super responsive and nice. The location is amazing and the pool was the cherry on top!

The Town of Lierna is a perfect spot to relax and renew energy in. A lot of great restaurants and activity on a decent price. The view is amazing and people are friendly. This hidden gem of Italy is perfect for friends how want to relax, enjoy good food and go around the area on easy activities. The House is big with newly renovated rooms and air conditioning in all rooms. We were five friends that came and stayed for a week, we would recommend this house to groups that want to relax and enjoy all the best Italy has to offer.

The poor is lovely. The property is spacious. It is a 2 min walk away from a restaurant (il Crotto) and 15 min walk away from a supermarket. We stayed here 5 nights and didn’t require a car as the public transport is quite good.

The location of the villa was super. There was plenty of rooms/privacy and everything was clean and cozy. The communication with the owners was also 10+

Cleanliness, quietness, beauty of the apartment, plus the host, Paola, made our stay easier and pleasant. The apartment is located in front of the lake in a quiet and beautiful area of the town very well communicated. Parking was not always easy to find but still it wasn't a big deal. There are some free parking spots close to the apartment, but even if they are all taken, there are other options. Just be aware of daily meter in some areas in front of the lake.

It was such a comfy stay at this villa & i wish i booked my whole stay here. The location is so perfect, with the nice view of Lake Lecco just around the corner. The place was so clean & has provided whatever little things you might have forgotten to bring.

spacious home, kitchen and dining areas were nice. Main bedrooms were all on different floors which our 3 couples liked.

The size of the villa was perfect for the 9 of us. The position of the bedrooms on different floors provided privacy. Also the location of the property is absolutely perfect, a private beach across the street, restaurants with in walking distance and if you’re hiring a boat excursion the walk to the dock is less then 10 minutes.

We had the most wonderful stay and can't wait to return. The villa is beautiful. It's all brand new, completely spotless, fantastic amenities and the view was incredible. I would also mention that we have a baby and the cot was the best one we've ever been supplied with! All rooms have separate air conditioning which was great given the temperature was in the high 30's when we were there! The pool and the gardens are stunning - the flowers were beautiful and clearly a lot of thought and work has gone into making it perfect. Yes you do have to drive down into Menaggio but we didn't see that as an issue - getting there early helps with the parking but we never had a problem. For those with kids - there is a good park right outside the gate opposite the property and you can walk along to the ice cream parlour at the end of the road. All in all a wonderful stay and thank you to Samuel for being so helpful on watsapp and making great recommendations for our stay.

The Villa was awesome, clean and almost every room had a spectacular view! The view of the lake and the mountains were breathtaking! The pool was fantastic! The owner was more than courteous to provide sparkling water, still water and coffee upon our arrival. They also treated us to a bottle of Champagne and Red wine. The property was a gem of Lake Como, we could not have asked for a better location or a more beautiful Villa. The grounds were immaculate, Perfect! This place was a dream come true! We hope to visit again someday!

We had such a relaxing 3 days here, everything was perfect. The villa is amazing, the view from terrace is breathtaking overlooking mountains and Lake Como. Our beds were very comfortable, toilet and bath clean and cozy. Lovely backyard and nice outdoor pool. Very easy to get around by car, 10 min to the city center and local restaurants with amazing food and drinks. This property truly makes you feel like you are home. Our family was greeted with a wonderful welcome basket filled with snacks. The rooms were very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped for making an evening meal with the whole family. The house has impeccable landscaping and a pool you'll love to relax in. You can easily access the beach from a peaceful 4 minute walk on a secluded trail with a waterfall. At the bottom of the trail there is a hotel restaurant that has the most delicious pizza. Our contact and host- Deborah and Greta- were absolutely amazing! They answered any questions we had and were very accommodating with all of our needs including check-in, check-out, crib availability, payments, and any other questions we had. Deborah was quick to respond to all of our emails and was very easy to contact during the whole process. Her professionalism made all of our travel worries disappear! All of our expectations were met and you won't be disappointed with choosing this villa!

The villa is beautiful and has everything what you might need. The view is incredible and the pool as well as bbq is great. The town is less touristy so you have more space for yourself. However, it is 10-20min drive to all the tourist activities. It is only 3min walk to town and lake. It was perfect for us.

The apartment was so clean and exactly how it looks on the pictures online. We were a group of girls in the upstairs apartment, sharing the pool with the downstairs apartment. There are plenty of sun beds and lots of areas for both sun and shade as required. We were unable to use the hot tub as advertised as it outside the bedroom window of the downstairs apartment so it’s only possible to use this if you rent the villa as a whole/or are in the downstairs apartment, which you don’t know until you arrive. The aircon unfortunately wasn’t working the first night we arrived but the host and owner were so helpful and did everything they could to solve the problem, including buying us fans to use in every room. They really went above and beyond to check on us to ensure the problem was fixed and sure enough it was the next day. The host, Abeba was so friendly and was so easy to contact through WhatsApp for anything we needed including taxi numbers/questions regarding waste disposal etc. Really modern apartment with a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds & sofa beds too. Bathroom was great with a strong shower too. Large shopping centre with supermarkets and eateries about 3 walk mins away which was so handy. No complaints at all.

Excellent villa comfort, facilities and pool. Great for a family holiday. Restaurants and shops nearby.

Very clean and modern. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The villa was very close to all of the amenities that we needed, including lake front, train station, shopping etc.

despite the driveway being difficult to navigate sue to its narrow entry and busy road, our family loved having our week long family reunion here. This historical villa has beautiful views and traditional furnishings which along with some modern conveniences was a perfect venue for us. Due to Europe’s heatwave, some of the smaller bedrooms were hot but we managed with fans and had the kids sleep on a sofa in the air conditioned master loft. The swimming pool was a lovely respite from the heat and after a long day of sightseeing! kids loved it!

This is a beautiful, clean, well-maintained villa and the views of Menaggio/Lake Como were truly stunning. There was plenty of room for our group and the photos on the website were very accurate. The house, especially the kitchen, were more than well-equipped with everything we could need to cook beautiful meals at home. Our contact at the property, George, went way above and beyond to help us when one of us needed medical attention (the hospital was a short walk from the villa), and George also helped us arrange transportation to the Milan train station at the end of our stay. He was available for any and every question we had, even in the evenings, and the attention and quick response time were amazing. We loved being steps away from the most amazing gelato! The ferries to Varenna and Bellagio were fairly easy to manage, though we spent a lot of time waiting (for the bus to take us to town, for the ferry to take us to Bellagio, etc).

Brilliant property would have to think hard of anything to fault. Slept 5 comfortably could have accommodated another two in the three double bedrooms and one single bedroom. Party all adults. Very centrally placed for SW corner of the Lake, Sirmione and Peschiera. 10 minute walk to Porto Torchio - best bar with spectacular view and friendly staff- and brilliant Mediterranean restaurant. Both as good as any around the Lake.

Lovely historic property in a lovely location. Great outdoor area with places to eat, swimming pool and ping pong table. Kitchen is small but very well equipped and overall a very comfortable, family style home.

Villa Maria is a beautiful old style villa with oodles of character and lovely views over Lake Garda. It's in a good location, being quite close to some shops, bars and restaurants. The villa has plenty of room inside and out and has a clean, well maintained salt-water pool which we thoroughly enjoyed. When we arrived, we were greeted by someone from the ownership team who showed us around the house - I felt this was a nice touch. Everything was very clean and the house was serviced and linen changed at the end of our first week (of two). There is air-con, but only in three bedrooms - the one on the top floor and two on the middle floor. We found we could cool the other bedroom on the middle floor by closing the doors to the stairwell - this worked very well. I would suggest the owners try to install air-con to the other two bedrooms. There are four bathrooms - a small sit-up bath on the top floor, a good sized bathroom and separate good sized shower room on the first floor, and a shower room (with washing machine) on the ground floor - the bottom one was the best for showering. Note that the villa is on a steep hill, so whilst shops/restaurants are within walking distance, it may be easier to drive. Nearby Gardone Riviera can be reached by going up the hill through Morgnaga which was very useful.

Villa Maria is a short walk from some lovely bars, restaurants and the lake front, but is also hidden away on a quiet road. It is a very comfortable rustic property set within beautiful grounds.

It was probably one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at in Volta so far. The rooms are gorgeous and there truly is enough room for 12. Not only is everything on the inside beautifully kept in shape, but the pool area is also well maintained and the pool itself super clean. Even though it is very close to the center and also very close to a lot of the restaurants, it is incredibly private and staying here made us feel like royalty! There was wi-fi, heating/AC if needed, a coffee-machine, little cleaning-packs and 3 sets of keys!

The house is big and has a fabulous pool and garden/outdoor area. It has plenty of rooms for leisure inside.

We spent four days at this villa on Lake Como, and overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay. The size and upkeep of the property deserve commendation, as does the enchanting view of Lake Como from the villa. The house itself has a certain charm and was very clean and well-equipped during our stay. Notably, the heated whirlpool and the two terraces overlooking the lake were among the highlights of the accommodation. The hospitality of the host was pleasant and helpful, which added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Overall, we are considering booking this villa again and can recommend it.

Modern and light villa with a magnificent sunrise view on Lake Garda and the Sirmione peninsula, and a charming sunset view on mountains, hills, vineyards and a neighboring village. Big plot of land means there is enough privacy and space for everybody to spend time around the villa. We used the swimming pool with pleasure on the warm days. It was a combined workation and vacation, Villa Alma has all facilities and space for that. Location in Soiano del Lago is within a short distance to some excellent restaurants, wineries, olive oil producers - but away from busy summer traffic in this area. We look back with lots of gratitude and appreciation to our time at Villa Alma, will be back and will recommend to friends and family.

The Villa has perfect location with lake view. The house has everything that is needed for shorter and longer vacation - dishwasher, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen with 2 coffee expresses. The house was clean and comfortable for a family of 6. It has 2 bathrooms (one outside) and a pool. The host was very kind and helpful - we get a lot of cool recommendations of local food and shops. We were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend Villa Alma to everyone 😉

We had an amazing stay in this Villa, in a beautiful and romantic room with a full view on Como Lake. The owner Chanel spoiled us since we were the only guests! Really grateful and I hope to go back sooner or later!

The accommodation was exceptionally cosy, extremely well designed with even furniture in the style of the year of build of the Villa!

This place is beyond extraordinary — it had everything we needed: high-quality coffee makers, a beautiful kitchen, a cozy fireplace. Truly lovely.

Breath taking views, attentive and accommodating host, great location and amazing amenities. Super cozy and comfortable and rooms.

We loved our stay , the wonderful view , the relaxing area . We felt as at home, all was comfortable and clean. Such a pity that we couldn't use the pool, beginning of March is too early. For sure we will come back in summer.

Lovely villa in a lovely location. Well appointed using top quality materials. The view was fantastic. Easy to walk into the village and all facilities you are likely to need are there. Tignale also offer a free shuttle service to the coast through their App. This was very good. We also used this as a base to visit other places, Boat to Limone and Malcesine, trains to Venice and Milan. (Although to get train requires a drive to the station an hour away. However trains very clean reliable and cheap compared to the UK!!).

Allerede første dag var personalet meget hjælpsomme og lavede en ekstra opredning da jeg havde feber. Jeg var efter 2 dage så uheldig at komme til skade med min ryg så jeg hverken kunne stå eller sidde. Da jeg var alene afsted med min søn på 18 år var det ikke nogen sjov situation. Personalet på Paradiso var helt fantastiske til at hjælpe os. De har gjort langt mere end man kunne forvente. De har snakket med læger, ambulancetjenesten og sågar politiet for at sikre, at vi kunne komme ud af Livignodalen inden tunnelen lukkede om lørdagen. Vi havde halvpension og de bragte maden op på værelset og lavede specialmad hvis vi ønskede det, samt sørgede for at min søn fik noget til frokost (selv om dette ikke var med halvpensionen) Jeg kan kun anbefale dette sted til alle som ønsker at holde ferie i Livigno. Stedet var rigtig godt, men det er hjælpsomheden vi aldrig vil glemme.

Ho alloggiato ad agosto nella nuova struttura distaccata di una decina di metri dall'hotel, ma collegata da un passaggio sotterraneo in caso di pioggia o freddo, ho prenotato una junior suite (stanza 106) devo dire che è stata una sistemazione fantastica con terrazzino a livello prato, esposta al sole. Arredo nuovissimo e ottima pulizia. Ia colazione come la cena sono ricchissime, varie e molto curate. Bellissima atmosfera per un ottimo Hotel che meriterebbe una stella in più. La gestione è famigliare e tutto il personale è competente e gentile. Lo raccomando agli amanti della bici, c'è tutto il necessario per parcheggiare al sicuro le biciclette e ci sono bici a dispisizione per gli ospiti. Altra nota positiva è che sono ben accetti i cani. Adatto per sportivi e famiglie con bambini. Ho scelto questo Hotel anche per la posizione tranquilla fuori dalla zona ZTL del centro, come dice il nome è un vero paradiso.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at this beautiful place. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional warmth and hospitality. Marie is a truly amazing host: she went above and beyond to make us feel completely at home. Everything we asked for, she did with genuine care and kindness (and a big smile!!). It felt like we were part of her family: a rare and heartfelt sense of connection that made our stay so special. The location was INCREDIBLE! From her home, we had quick access to several stunning hikes, and within just 15 minutes we were enjoying meals at amazing local restaurants. The facilities at the accommodation were also perfect: clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest detail. (Especially the beautiful place for breakfast and swimming pool we loved!) In short, this is a place we would return to without hesitation. This is the best place we have ever stayed. The location was great, with an amazing view, a lovely pool to swim in and extremely peaceful! We stayed for 4 nights and it just wasn’t enough time. There is so much to do here. The host Marie was just exceptional, so friendly, lovely and extremely helpful! She provided us with so many great recommendations, ones being the hike to the waterfall which we would never have known was there. She really made our time amazing! I couldn’t recommend this place enough!!!

Amazing stay! Marie was the best host, very kind and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with a stunning terrace view. We enjoyed the pool and peaceful Mandello atmosphere. Definitely would love to come back.

View from the bnb was amazing 👍 nice pool, beautiful room. Fantastic host- so helpful and kind. She provides so much information on taxis and restaurants etc in the area including phone numbers and links to websites. She helped us organise a boat tour. She left the key for us to check in early and even sent on videos explaining how to get in and where to find the key.

As we were traveling by train, thankfully Marie picked us up at the station as it is a long walk uphill to Villa Monte Blanco. The breakfast, with a few options was served on the patio with a view of the lake. A great way to start the day. Marie, the hostess, was always available to assist with all our questions and gave us excellent directions to do the waterfall hike. (Including recommending La Perla Restaurant for a beer and lunch on the way down.) She also suggested a day out on the ferry to Bellagio, where we had lunch, then a ferry to Vareena and a train back to Mandello del Lario. A really great day out. I am so glad that we found Villa Mont Bianco and booked it for our stay in Mondello del Lario.

Zu meiner Reisezeit nutzte keiner den Pool, sodass ich die große Terrasse ungestört nutzen konnte. Die Anfahrt ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig; enge, kurvige Straße bergauf. Erstmal angekommen wird man mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick belohnt. Die Inneneinrichtung hat mir sehr gut gefallen; reichlich Geschirr vorhanden; großer Kühlschrank, superbequemes Bett. Einzig die Terrassenmöblierung könnte etwas bequemer sein. Auf den Gartenstühlen lässt es sich nicht lange sitzen und die Sonnenliegen sind für ältere Menschen sehr unbequem. So etwas wie ein Relaxstuhl wäre prima....Die Betreuung durch die Vermieterin Mikka war ausgezeichnet. Schon nach Buchung erhielt ich eine sehr freundliche mail mit Anfahrtsbeschreibung und eine herzliche Begrüßung und Einweisung vor Ort...in deutsch.

Great location with spectacular views of Lake Como. The trek up the steep hills is interesting but part of the local charm. We hardly stayed in the rooms. The patio faces the lake and it was so serene enjoying a meal overlooking the view.

Absolutely beyond expectations…. The parking was very easy to access and the hotel takes care to send you the information before arriving. The transfer from parking to hotel and back was seamless and also very enjoyable for my child to ride a little golf cart through sirmione. The hotel was located right near the entrance and also a two minute walk to the great Terme of Sirmione (which was the main point of our visit). The hotel itself was STUNNING. So nicely renovated, new, modern, very spacious room with comfortable beds and lots of windows. The design itself is so modern but well thought - hooks in the right places, bath and wc separate from each other… lots of hangers and space to hang clothes. Even a little balcony in our room. The cleanliness was immaculate…. It was truly amazing. The breakfast was so abundant and so tasty, not sure if it’s always like this but during this time of low season we had breakfast cooked to order and unlimited portions (even though one portion is more than enough for a hearty appetite) with fresh breads, croissants, yogurt and cereals… fresh orange juice and espresso as you like. I couldn’t have dreamt up a better stay and the hospitality was exceptional. In a time like this, it’s hard to find these gems that really really care about customer service and client experience. We cannot wait to come back again

We had an excellent stay. We asked Tanina to send a driver to Verona to pick us up and drive us to the hotel--very much worth door to door service-- Worth it when you consider train costs along with taxis at each end. We also had her find a driver to take us to the nearby train station for our trip to Venice. We reserved the 3rd floor room with a balcony. With windows closed, we had no street noise but we could also enjoy closing the shutters and opening the windows to enjoy the birds in the square. We enjoyed the room but there is limited storage space, especially in the bathroom. Everything is spotlessly clean. There is an elevator to the 3rd floor with no additional stairs. Tanina arranged a massage at Aquaria, she recommended two dinners and one lunch--all very good. Breakfast is included at a restaurant across the street. She also arranged a private sunset cruise which was beautiful. We followed her advice for a good gelato place, among the many you encounter. She is a wealth of good information. We easily walked everywhere throughout the peninsula during our 3 day stay. Once you walk a few minutes away from the historic area, there are peaceful parks and farther up, hidden villas until you reach the Roman ruins and the small beach.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel Casa Scaligeri in Sirmione, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel is spotless, with a perfect location right next to the castle — you’re literally in the heart of the old town, surrounded by history and charm. One of the things we really appreciated was the thoughtful electric shuttle service to and from the parking area, which made arriving and departing completely stress-free. The rooms are cozy and impeccably clean. Breakfast is served in a lovely café just across from the hotel, with a varied menu. But what made our stay truly unforgettable were the owners. Their warmth and genuine hospitality made us feel more like welcome guests than hotel clients. Thanks to their personal recommendations, we experienced two highlights of our trip: a peaceful, intimate boat ride on Lake Garda, and a stunning dinner at La Rucola, a Michelin-starred restaurant that was an absolute culinary journey. The hotel is also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us, and there’s a nearby park that ’s perfect for walks with your four-legged companion. We will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly special stay in Sirmione.

This resort area is a bit inaccessible - that's where the SERVICE comes in. Tanina has the ability to make you feel like you are staying with your family. The communication is just right - every question is anticipated and answered almost before you know to ask! How do we visit other towns on Lake Garda? Where can we find the best gelato? What about a restaurant for a romantic dinner? We want to explore on foot - what path do you recommend. Tanina has you covered, like a mama but with the utmost respect. We ate great food, discovered Bardolino and did some shopping, saw the historical sights and even caught a local church choir practicing through a street-level open window! If you stay at this property, you will literally have no worries. A fabulous breakfast around the corner is included daily. Tanina will give you a map and the inside scoop on everything. Our only suggestion for improvement is to do the repairs for the damages caused by a previous guest in suite 202 and to dispense with the chemical "air fresheners" which are toxic. The air God has created is superior!

Location couldn´t be better: inside the walls, steps from the castle and the tour boats (don´t miss the water tour around the city) and the best restaurants in town. We stayed at the 3rd floor in a modern and spacious room with a nice balcony. Pretty clean bathroom with good amenities. Spotless! Breakfast is around the corner and do not compromise, but it is not par to the rest of the facilities and services. Having said that, it is still above average. Best for last. What really makes the difference here is Tanina. I do not remember anyone in any other place that I have been that is so responsive, focused on the customer (and not only in making the most of money with them) and nice as Tanina. No matter what your demand is, she will figure out how to address it. And she went the extra mile, suggesting ways to improve what we have planned. The hotel is definitely very good but with Tanina it becomes great!

My wife and I had a very comfortable 4-night stay in this lovely hotel perched above Bergamo, with fantastic views of the old town below. The hotel can be accessed by funicular from the old town (10 mins duration) with its central square, cathedral and other sights. Another funicular ride takes you below the city walls to the new town, railway station etc. With only nine rooms, the hotel is fully focused on the needs of its guests. Each room in this former lodging for the adjoining (now ruined) castle has been beautifully restored with exposed hand-made brick vaulted ceilings, wood beams and high ceilings etc. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - the manager even gave us a lift to the art gallery when it was raining one day. The breakfasts were also superb - lots of fresh fruit, cereal and a choice of hot food cooked to order. So much to see in Bergamo - great art, amazing architecture and churches, an old fort and ruined castle. You can also spend hours walking the city walls and the cobbled streets with amazing views at every turn. Airport only 15 mins away by car or bus. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable, beautifully presented hotel in a stunning location.

Extraordinary in every way! In itself a truly memorable experience. Historic yet beatifully refurbished building in a modern and inspiring design in every detail. Fabulous views from its position on a hill overlooking the rooftoops of Bergamos old town. The newly laid out garden has a stunning design with a renaissance feel to it, yet at the same time modern. It is a garden you want to sit in and relax, just move around between the different spots and levels of the large and terraced garden. The staff are relaxed, confident and attentive - making you feel as an unique guest. And the breakfeast, served in the garden is individualized to your taste and worth at least an hours sitting - the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. And last but not least there is also a restaurant, with lunch and dinner servings, were you sit in the lower terrace, magnificantly lit up when darkness fell. The food was excellent as well as the staff. We had one of the three different tasting menues including 5 dishes, all of which surprized us in presentation and taste. We felt so priviliged during our stay at Relais San Viligo - it is worth a detour in itself!

First time in Italy and picked this hotel from the internet. It is on the top of the hill overlooking Bergamo. It only has nine rooms, and as it was my wife's significant birthday, chose a room with a small seperate sitting area and a jaw dropping view of the old town and surrounding area. Bedroom and bathroom were large and well equipped.with huge shower. There is a lift from a private parking area to reception and the rooms. Staff were absolutely first class...nothing and I mean nothing was a problem. We had breakfast on the terrace every day and ate a beautiful meal in the hotel's Cucina Restaurant one evening. They also have a Pizzeria a short distance away...better to book if you want a spectacular window viewpoint, as it gets very busy. Access to the old town is via a funiculare railway (3 minute journey) and after walking through the old town a further funicular will take you down to the City itself. All in all, we both loved our stay and would highly reccommend it.

New kid on the now quite crowded San Vigilio restaurant scene, owned by the team behind the nearby pizzeria. The relais is housed in a former military barracks, very tastefully restored in cutting edge style. There is a garden upstairs and an enclosed part at lower level. We chose the enclosed part where we were alone but well looked after. The garden was where the action was on a warm evening, but we anticipated being on the mosquitos’ menu. We had the best meal we have had this year, accompanied by an elegant white Sauvignon from Friuli. The food is of international standard. Prices are normal, about €100 per head for a full meal with wine. The place also does breakfast and lunch. Our neighbour recommends the breakfast The relais also has rooms, and is in a well known beauty spot.

Truly boutique, calm, quiet and with a wonderful view At the top of the historical city of Bergamo, The hotel is 50 meters from the funicular to go down to the historical city between the castle walls. Around the hotel, you can safely walk or bike tour among the well-preserved county houses and incredibly beautiful forests. The employees are very friendly, helpful and professional. They even helped us pay the toll we had to pay via the website. Everything about this hotel was sensational. The facilities are unmatched in the region and the location, hospitality and focus on relaxation all combine to make Lefay the absolute number 1 resort in Veneto for a couple looking to escape the day-to-day and indulge in some luxury. A special mention must go to the staff who make you feel like a celebrity while you stay at the resort. Everyone remembered our names and greeted us warmly. They made arrangements for us with minimum fuss, always smiled, and maintained a constant level of attention that wasn't intrusive. They were perfect. The restaurants are excellent and the pool and spa facilities must be enjoyed every day. It'll take a good 3 days to make the most of everything on offer in this respect. Take it slow and really let yourself go.

The property is located on a small mountain and that gives us one of the most gorgeous views from the hotel. The staff is very polite and hospitable. The pools and sauna are amazing. The sauna has absolutely beautiful views. The most gorgeous wellness resort ever for me.

Views were stunning, food was overall of a high standard. Enjoyed the activities, yoga teacher was excellent! Beautiful main pool was very relaxing to swim in. Hotel was perfect for a milestone birthday celebration.

The family works every day to give you the best experience around lake Como. We have a lot of respect for them, also because they give you the feeling that you are at home. Their hospitality and kindness is truly out of this world. They will help you with anything you want. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the airconditioning worked very well. The breakfast was freshmade and it was delicious. Mattia, the owner, also provides you with an extensive information brochure containing the best things to do around lake Como. We used the brochure a lot for hiking trails and parking places. It helped us a lot to explore the beautiful nature of Sorico and Como. He also helped us book a horse-riding experience which was amazing. Because of this family, our trip was really special and perfect for us. It felt like home. We will definitely, without any doubt, come back soon to this hotel and mama's food.

We arrived at this very warm welcoming, family run hotel and were instantly impressed with the decor and friendly staff. Mattia the main man, was incredible - a great laugh, very enjoyable company, and put us in a great mood every time he greeted us in his own special way - 'Saluti!' His Mother was equally amazing as she suggested some interesting historical locations and cooks probably the best pasta I've ever tasted. All the food is amazing in fact - homemade local cuisine you just can't beat. There is the option to ride on the hotel bicycles for a free 2 hours then it is a small charge after that but as we managed to cycle all the way to Dongo, we had them for much longer - which Mattia kindly allowed us to have for free :) We then explored many other areas out of recommendations from the staff and they were all very helpful. All easily accessible too. Overall it was an amazing, awesome stay. Definitely worthy of a full 5 stars. We left happy, and feeling as though we were part of this incredible family. Highly recommend!

A very well run (third generation now) family business. The hotel is very clean and it’s location is just a few meters away from the promenade. Perfect, if you want to enjoy Lake Como's amazing views without having to „dive“ into the cowds of tourists that you will definitely find in the southern part of the lake . During our stay there they all made sure we always had everything we needed.The delicious food (tortellini, lasagna, valdostana…and most of all tiramisu) that we enjoyed there every night was prepaired by Mattia’s mother Angela, as she would for her own family. Mattia in particular,helped us by explaining which places were the best to visit, considering that our mother could not walk long distances without the help of a " rollator".He also has his very own, well put together Lake Como tips guide, were you could find among many others things ferry timetables, car park locations and bike trails. In the hopes of being one day again one of your guests, we thank you very much Mattia ( and the family) for your very warm welcome.

We are so thankful to Mattia and all of his family for hospitality and patience towards us. We were late and Mattia waited for us despite it being late. All throughout the visit we felt especially welcome. The small and cosy family hotel is worth much more than 3 stars - everything was perfect – quiet location with a perfect view, comfortable beds, eveything worked properly, friendly staff and ESPECIALLY clean. Tasty breakfast, good coffee. The ristorante with Mattias‘s mama's prepared dishes was exellent - home made pastas and deserts were especially dellicious! You could really feel the quality in all aspects. A detailed guide prepared by Mattia was really helpful and contained plenty of tips and suggestions about sightseeing and activities. I highly recommend this hotel if you‘re looking for place that feels like home. When our big family was leaving they even give us a parting present - a traditional italian Easter cake ❤️ Thank you again Mattia for kindness, helpfulness, effort and sense of humor - you are simply amazing!

They were really nice to us, and we understand each other very quick. The rooms are comfortable, and nice, we got new towel every day, the view was amazing, and they have shutter which was a plus point. The breakfast was also really good:) Mattia is really kind and funny guy, he is the best host ever. We celebrate my best friend's birthday there, and they make for us suprise cake to my request. The home made pasta was wery delicious, and the wine also. The lake is 2 min from the hotel, this part of the lake is very calm, you can drink an aperol. We always have parking place next to the hotel. If you are not a morning person, you should bring earplug for yourself, because there is a church that often rings the bell.

Stunning modern hotel with possibly the best view of the lake… secure valet car park. Amazing lounge bar with outside balconies and attentive waiter service. Excellent spa and sun loungers on various decks down to the lake itself. Infinity pool and gym overlooking the lake. Bar service and lunch at the pool deck. Grill at beach level. Rooms are all facing the view as the hotel clings to the hillside on 6 floors. Excellent breakfast, buffet and cooked options. 5 minute mini bus service into limone village… or 30 mins walk but it is a little steep in places but well worth it during the day… new Cyclo footpath currently being constructed around lake for 140 km will be amazing. Current stretch at limone goes past hotel for a further few kms only. But provides a safe off road walkway that is stunning to limone… Top class hotel with great location, staff and modern facilities. Spa was excellent.

EALA's wonderful location and well executed simple but stylish decor would be reason enough to visit, but what sets this outstanding hotel apart is the staff. They're all so good and friendly it seems wrong to single any one of the team out, they're simply the nicest hotel staff we've ever experienced in a life of travelling. We loved everything about our 4 day stay around New Year. The location with both easy and very challenging walks right outside the door (a dawn walk up to Punta Larici is rather strenuous but a wonderful experience), is stunning. The rooms are comfortable and large, and the spa and pools are superb. We also loved the fact that although it was very much a Masarati, Mercedes, Gucci and Prada set staying there at the time, the staff didn't turn their nose up at our little rented Fiat Panda in the least. We will most certainly return to discover more of beautiful Lake Garda.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Literally everything about our experience was perfect. The location is fantastic - you're right on the lake and the hotel is built in such a way that you get a beautiful scenic view from reception/restaurant area/pool/rooms and then you go down to the beach where you're right by the water. Food was good, rooms are big and bright and airy; I would really recommend the spa as the treatments are lovely and the spa area very calming. Limone is either a half an hour walk away (on the seaside promenade away from the cars) or there is a free hotel shuttle that can take you and pick you up from there any time you wish. Special mention to the staff who were super friendly, cheerful and helpful - they helped make our stay very special. We're already booking our next stay there....

We spent the last night of our north-Italy visit in this lovely hotel, and our only regret was that we had to leave it so soon. It is a truly intimate boutique hotel (12 rooms) with a lovely atmosphere, very clean and spacious rooms, and above all, outstanding service. We were greeted with a big smile by Joanna, who helped us with our luggage, arranged for our car to be parked in the hotel's private parking and led us to our two lovey rooms (one of which upgraded to match the other - a pleasant surprise). She also gave us maps of the town, showed us some points of interest and booked for us a table for dinner at a great steakhouse around the corner. The decor is the typically Italian, tasteful mix of traditional and modern. Our rooms were very spacious, with comfy beds, lots of storage, desk / table, chairs and armchairs - certainly suitable for a longer stay than ours. Breakfast is superb, not only in quality and presentation but also in variety, which is remarkable for such a small hotel, and again, served with big smiles. In checking out we were assisted by the equally informative and smiling Rebecca (the two young ladies' boss was no less nice and helpful - I apologize for forgetting his name). The hotel even has a small gym and sauna which we haven't had time to enjoy, but again, this is a very nice bonus for a small hotel. In short - a wonderful experience!

A small boutique hotel, well located in Bergamo City. First impressions mean a great deal, and the professional yet friendly and welcoming reception we received on arrival set a high bar which was maintained throughout our stay. Every member of staff operated at the highest level of customer service, and always went the extra mile to ensure that the experience was top class, whether that was providing recommendations, assisting with travel or just simply making the stay memorable. Our room was big and well presented, with a modern walk in shower, and really comfortable bed. breakfast was always a feast for the eyes with fruit, meats, cheeses, breads, yoghurt etc, and hot food on request. I opted for an omelette every morning and it was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was available in the main dining area or could be taken outside in the courtyard. We have stayed in many hotels, but have never been treated so well. Hotel Petronilla has set a very high bar for the rest to follow. A real credit to the City of Bergamo and the tourist industry of the region.

exquisite breakfasts with a generous time frame, 7-10 am. the room was very well appointed, with excellent storage for clothing and lots of mirrors, and a well-stocked bar. the street is quiet, but in a very good neighborhood, close to Bergamo's prime shopping area. The street begins at Via San Alessandro, which leads directly to the Giacomo Gate to the Citta Alta, about a 30-minute walk. Going down the street the other way Via San Bernardino leads to Bergamo's exceptionally handsome public library; the first-floor interior offers children's books on one side and travel books on the other, looking out onto a garden that can be entered from the library. the hotel's laundry service did a lovely job and took about two days. staff were very warm and helpful.--and they seemed to have a system whereby the maids were alerted when one came to breakfast so that on returning to the room after breakfast, one found that the room had been made up.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Street Milano Duomo | a Design Boutique Hotel, an exceptional experience The concierge (Amira) reached out to us the day before we travel to Milan and gave us amazing suggestions, from local restaurants to arranging a private driver to pick us up from Malpensa Airport. When we walked into the location we knew we where in the best area, a few feet away from The Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II; we took the elevator to the lobby and were greeted with a warm smile and efficient service that set the tone for a fantastic stay. The room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with modern furnishings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, such as high-quality toiletries, a well-stocked minibar, and a state-of-the-art coffee maker. My husband and I spent the last two nights of our vacation in France and Italy at The Street Milano Duomo Hotel, and it was a wonderful way to end our trip. This boutique hotel is beautifully decorated in a modern, contemporary style and offers outstanding service. The ladies at the reception were especially helpful — they gave us great directions and tips for exploring the historic center. The location truly couldn’t be better: just steps away from the Duomo, which is absolutely breathtaking and the perfect starting point for touring Milan. Most of the city’s main sights are within walking distance, which we really appreciated. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a king-size bed, a desk, and a cozy seating area. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was also a highlight — a pleasant and relaxing way to start the day. The only two small downsides we noticed were that the furniture and bathroom fittings are starting to show a bit of wear, and we unexpectedly ran out of hot water one morning after a longer shower. It wasn’t a major issue, but something to be aware of, as we were told that unlike most hotels, hot water is limited. One of our best hotel experiences ever. Staff was attentive & sweet at all times, and seemed to be staffed at all times, although there are only 11 rooms. Location is unbeatable - around the corner from La Scala, the Duomo &the Galleria. Hotel had a nice full breakfast which we used when we wanted to get out early in the am. (In fact they woke us when we slept through our alarm, saving our day, because they knew we had an early departure). There are also many local coffee shops as well for breakfast, and so many dinner/lunch places, as well as a little take-out place right at the entrance to the hotel for sweet or savory zeppoli (like a pocket sandwich, but SOo good for a quick snack). The minute we left the room it was cleaned. The other guests, like us, realized what an amazing, special place it was & we enjoyed casual encounters with a few of them. Do use the hotel to get your connection from the airport until you get situated. The driver will wait for you OUTSIDE the terminal, and if there are any issues anytime the staff is very responsive via text or calls. The rooms themselves are very modern, amazing American friendly bathroom & kingside bed which we really appreciated. Multi multi lingual staff, but English or Italian are particularly strong. Enjoy! I highly recommend The Street Milano Duomo hotel. This beautiful boutique hotel is located at the centrum of Milan in a paved pedestrian little street-alley literally a minute walk from the Duomo. Despite the ultra central location the building in which the hotel is located is cozy and tranquil and quite isolated from the hustle and bustle of city center. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, sparkling clean and quite comfy. Breakfast was delicious, generous and freshly prepared according to a detailed and personal order. Our breakfast wasn’t included in the room price but it was charged fairly by the hotel for the mornings we ordered it (some mornings we preferred taking our breakfast outside of the hotel). Above all the excellent virtues of this hotel their hospitality standards are outstanding. The staff is super attentive and helpful and the personal treatment starts way before the actual visit as they communicate via WhatsApp right after booking to inquire if you might need any assistance with booking tickets, reserving dinner tables etc. This excellent level of service has continued throughout the whole visit and even afterwards.

This small hotel in the heart of Milano is amazing. We have just stayed for a long weekend and we had a fabulous time. To start with …. the service you receive before you set foot in the hotel is second to none. Thank you so much for all the trips you arranged for us and the many changes we had all dealt with brilliantly.Thank you in particular for finding the vegan ice cream shop for me and the pub to watch the football ! Nothing is too much trouble for the hotel team. The hotel itself is really modern and is hidden in the heart of Milano. It is so ideally placed for seeing Milan you can walk everywhere. The rooms are very modern extremely clean and have everything you would need . Breakfast is excellent albeit you do have to order the night before but it is worth it. All in all cannot recommend this hotel enough and if we are back in Milano this is where we will be staying ! Thanks to all the staff for making our trip so good More

This is an absolute jewel of a hotel. Owned by four brothers (two manage this one, two manage Il Vapore across the tiny piazza), there is a small and incredibly dedicated and friendly staff who do everything from help with luggage to wait in the restaurant. The room we had was large and gorgeous, with an incredibly comfortable bed. Best of all was the large terrace we had with spectacular views of Lake Como, Como, and Cernobbio on the other side of the Lake. The restaurant is fantastic. We ate there 4 nights, the other night we ate at their sister restaurant Il Vapore. Torno is a tiny town — blink and you’ll miss it — you need to walk quite a ways from the only parking lot (and down many many steps) to reach the tiny, beautiful piazza on the lake. Il Belvedere was our home for 6 days. We have traveled extensively and this is by far our most favorite hotel. We will definitely be back.

Il Belvedere is located in small town called Torno on the shores of the Lago di Como. Location of the hotel is right on the shore and you have a look on the small marina with boats. Room had a lake view on the forementioned marina. Staff is exceptional: a) we were a bit late after the check-in time because of a crash on Milano highway but there were no problems, they even helped us with carrying luggage from the car to the hotel because parking lot is hundred meters from the entrance to the hotel, b) we were able to reserve a late dinner, c) on the short notice they helped us with printing tickets for Fiera Milano. Great service all together. Restaurant is cozy, dinner meals were delightful and wine was good. I would recommend it if you want to be away from the bigger cities like Milano or Como, right at the lake, with great view on the lake and surrounding mountains.

Breakfast was more than we needed. The one was like young woman who staffed a breakfast service was so friendly and always had a smile on her face. We had room the room concordia. Blew us away with the water view on three sides of the room. the room was amazing, the housekeeper, as we passed her, always had a smile on her face. Staff at the reception desk always had a smile on their face and were more than accommodating. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We ate dinner at bar Italia across the parking lot, as the restaurant was closed the day we arrived. We did eat dinner in the restaurant the rest of our stay. Staff in the restaurant were so friendly and accommodating. The food I would give a 10 out of 10. We cannot say enough good things about this hotel. We are looking to book next October to come back.

The Il Belvedere is a true oasis of peace and tranquility. You will be greeted warmly upon arrival and cared for with genuine sincerity throughout your entire stay. Located directly on the lake, you will experience a visually picturesque and auditory feast from all angles! The property is perfect for relaxing and point of return from exploring which is easy to do through various means of reliable transportation available. The Il Belvedere is an extension of its natural environment, both rustic and elegant. You feel connected with the vibe of the lake and its town, Torno. And the cuisine of both of their restaurants is amazing!!!

Everyone in the staff was exceptionally friendly and hospitable. From the minute I stepped inside, the lovely ladies at reception were expecting me and prepared for all the ‘wish list’ I had messaged them about prior to arrival. The dinners at the restaurant were exceptional- delicious, friendly staff and incredible views of the lake. During the day when you want to explore around the lake, the hotel is located in front of the ferry stop. And if you want anything outside the menu of the hotel, the cafe nearby has everything. Do not hesitate to book here, I will definitely be back again

The hotel is very nice with a heated pool at a comfortable 30+ degrees with a shallow area that is amazing to sunbath in. The garden in general is a lovely place to hang out and watch the sun sink in the lake. Free parking at the hotel property is also a major plus. The staff is very accommodating to our requests and just very kind. The cocktails are tasty and the breakfast is very well done with plenty of options. Loved almost everything about it! The only tiny detail I would note for the hotel is to offer some complementary cooled (citrus)-water in the lobby or something since there is also no complementary water offered in the room. (Eco reasons?) Some offering of refreshment after a walk from town should be standard at a hotel with this level of service since there is also no welcome drink offered at check in; your only go-to now is the mini-bar when you arrive thirsty from the heat outside…

We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Vinci which enhanced a fantastic trip to beautiful Sirmione. Hotel Vinci is an exceptional hotel situated by the Historic Centre of Sirmione. The hotel is modern and stylish and comes equipped with an outdoor pool and spa facilities. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and our room was both tasteful and clean and boasted a private balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed sipping Aperol Spritzes on the deck which overlooked Lake Garda and would highly recommend the spa facilities which we availed of during our stay. The hotel's proximity to Castello Scaligero allowed us to easily stroll to old city for both lunch and dinner and wander through the colourful, cobbled streets of old town Sirmione. We would highly recommend Hotel Vinci and look forward to returning again in the near future. Thank you for a fabulous trip!

The hotel manager/owner and all staff members were friendly, helpful, accommodating and made our stay wonderful! We were upgraded upon check in to our delight. The bar is a nice place to gather in the evening and chat with the owner and other hotel guests. The view from both sides of the hotel are lake view even though they don’t advertise that it’s beautiful. The pool nice and the in room/balcony private hot tub was a great thing as we had flown all night before arriving and it relaxed us. The downtown area/castle and restaurants an easy walk from the hotel.

This property is 11/10. It is wonderful and the pool area is stunning. The pool is exceptionally clean and it has bar service also. The rooms are clean, spacious, modern and welcoming. Beds are super comfortable. The location is perfect and in walking distance to all restaurants. This property is also accessible for people with disabilities and has rooms equipped with wheelchair access. The staff are AMAZING so friendly and helpful, it was a breath of fresh air, they truly can’t do enough and you never feel uncomfortable with them.

WOW,This hotel is just something special, Before arriving, they messaged me just to check what time i would be arriving,so that everything is ready,once i got there from milan was tired and not sure how to pay the congestion of band c in milan that i was in, but Leitzia at the reception said she can check for me and help me sort it out as i wasnt sure, She was very welcoming from the moment we arrived Gave us the room key and gave us a very warm welcome to the hotel, took us to the room and i just could not belivee the view we had from our room with the balcony, just breath taking. Overlooking the lake como just spectacular. Also, they have a private sauna, which you can book for private use. Infinity pool. Also the breakfast was just amazing,all the staff there were just amazing. After travelling through europe driving and then be able to get a hotel with such service is just rare. This hotel was absolutely fantastic possibly the best I've stayed in, staff where exceptional and really made us welcome and always had a smile on their faces. Rooms where clean and comfortable, the breakfast had plenty of choice with the offer of eggs cooked however you wanted with or without bacon. Private use of spa was a lovely treat when it rained and the pool was fabulous. Good transport connections with bus and ferry a short walk away and train availble from Calico to Milan.

We had dinner in the the hotel one evening and the standard and quality was excellent. Sitting on the bar terrace at the end of a busy sightseeing day watching the sun go down was breathtaking. There is a busy stop just outside of the hotel which was perfect and we used this every day to get where we needed to. This is one of the best hotels in Lake Como area. Amazing service , amazing hotel room with amenities , amazing restaurant. I travel a lot and have stayed at Aman hotels and Four Seasons. We were a family of 8. Booked 2 large family rooms. It is better than any hotel I have stayed at. Family that runs it is amazing. I interacted with owner Roberto and son Ricardo the most. The service they provided went above and beyond. Hotel room was very new and updated. View was stunning. Restaurant food was unbelievable. We are there twice infact. Better than Villa D’este across the lake. I would give it 10 stars if I could. The Singh - Bedi family would like to thank Hotel Lago for an overall excellent stay, kindness towards our kids and 10 star service and Michelin level food. Trust me. Stay here and you won’t regret it.

What sets this hotel apart from many others is that it is family run, and ran with love and every attention to detail. The father and son duo Roberto and Ricardo made our stay wonderful. The rest of the staff feed off their love for the hotel and region and added to our exceptional experience staying here. The rooms are spacious, the amenities are plenty, the bed is the most comfortable we stayed in Italy, and the views from the room are breathtaking. We felt like part of the family. Although a car is not needed nor for the faint of heart I suggest one to head out and explore the neighboring towns. Also recommend having the hotel arrange a lake como boat tour, go for the 4 hr tour and take in the views from the lake. This hotel is a gem cut into the Italian mountainside.

This was the nicest, cleanest and most luxurious hotel we’ve stayed in while traveling through Europe. It’s a boutique hotel so they get to know you personally. The staff is wonderful and helped us make our way around town. We met the owner and he was unbelievably kind and takes a lot of pride in the property. The rooms were so thoughtfully designed. The shower is huge like a 5-star hotel (not typical in Europe). The breakfast was wonderful and you can sit with a view of Lake Como. All the rooms have an amazing view of Lake Como also. We rented a car and the parking was super convenient. Just a short drive to center of Bellagio or Como. The town of Torno is cute and not as busy. We would absolutely stay here again!

Exceptional service and warm atmosphere – highly recommended! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and always ready to help. Their attentiveness made me feel truly cared for. The room was spotless — everything was exceptionally clean, neat, and very cozy. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was immaculate, and every detail showed care and professionalism. A special highlight was the restaurant. Dinner was an absolute delight. Everything was perfect. We had booked two standard rooms that were anything but standard. Huge rooms, comfortable beds, beautiful decor, and our room was upgraded to a partial lake view upon arrival which means we had a beautiful balcony where we could sit and have a coffee overlooking Lake Como. Breakfast had everything anyone could want and everything was fresh and delicious. The pool area was perfect - cool or warm water pools, lots of options for shade or sun, pool area or lawn. Pool bar had great food and drink and super friendly, fun and attentive staff. Location was absolute perfection - 5 min walk into town but tucked up on a hill to be away from the busyness of the main town area. When I saw some of the other hotels I had considered that were right in the middle of town, I was grateful I had decided on Hotel Belvedere - close enough to walk easily to restaurants and shops and the ferry - but an oasis away from the crowds.

Incredible facilities - the spa, pool and infinity pool are excellent. Lots of different spaces to spend time in, both inside and out. Fantastic views of Lake Como when sitting outside with a drink or at the pool. Staff were exceptional - friendly, warm Great food and drink offering - breakfast was wonderful, cocktails are fantastic Staff were incredibly helpful with great recommendations for local eateries and excursions - nothing was too much trouble. Cleanliness was impeccable, the hotel and its ground were immaculate and very well taken care of. Great location, a few minutes away from Bellagio centre.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Belvedere Bellagio for 3 nights expecting it to be a nice hotel on Lake Como. What we got instead was the most beautiful and perfect stay we could have imagined. We were lucky enough to have unseasonably warm weather which allowed us to sit by the pool and jacuzzi and on our garden patio facing the lake and just bask in the beauty of the lake and the mountains. The hotel, inside and out, is immaculate. It’s hard to top the views and the hotel itself, but the staff give those things a run for their money. The front desk and concierge staff (Annarita and Cinzia and others) were so helpful and patient with my changing plans. The restaurant staff was top notch as well whether at breakfast or our 3 times for dinner. Also, the pool bar staff (Oscar and others) were quick to provide towels and drinks. We also had a couples massage during our stay which probably was the best we have ever had. The spa area is very nice and we enjoyed the salt, ice, and steam rooms. We highly, highly recommend the Hotel Belvedere Bellagio and hope to come back to this perfect place in the future.

Staff and service were excellent. We stayed in the apartment side of the hotel which was nice to have a little kitchen and a bit more room whilst still being able to use hotel pool and amenities. We didn’t feel the need to brave the crowds and eat in bellagio too many times as the hotel restaurant was fantastic and the pool bar and view so relaxing and quiet.

A beautiful hotel where you really feel at ease, comfortable and very well looked after. We’ve stayed in 5* hotels that weren’t nearly as good. We had a fantastic room and our large, very private, terrace had fabulous views of Lake Como. We had a table and chairs and 4 sun beds, The suite had a bedroom and a seating area (sofa would convert into a bed for children) where we could relax. It was also very close to the pool so we could use our own sun beds and just pop over for a dip! The hotel felt very secure, as did the car parking. We were able to really relax and do things at our own pace. The staff were amazing. Very friendly, helpful and kind. They went over and beyond to ensure you had a wonderful time and we did, so much so that we stayed an extra night (in a much smaller room) and we are planning to return with friends later in the year! Very good breakfast and delicious light meals available in the evening. Thank you, La Perla, for a great stay!

Our stay at Hotel La Perla was truly exceptional. We were very pleased with the service – all the staff were smiling, helpful, and friendly. You could always count on them for support, whether it was ordering a taxi or assisting with small requests. We especially appreciated the room change from a terrace to a balcony on the day of our arrival – the staff really did their best to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious – every day there was a wide selection of both hot and cold dishes, as well as fresh fruit and cakes. It’s clear that the family running the hotel puts a lot of heart into the place and takes great care of both the facilities and the guests’ comfort. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and its location with a view of the lake creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It’s a place where quiet is respected and you can truly unwind. We had a really wonderful holiday in Tremezzo it was a great location for getting around Lake Como and staying at Hotel La Perla made it particularly special. The family running the hotel were superb. They were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to help us with travel tips, directions, restaurants, well, everything. Nothing was too much trouble. Always smiling and creating the loveliest atmosphere. The location of the hotel is perfect and it is true that the rooms have a superb lake and mountain view. So too did the dining area. Our room was delightful and we had not just a balcony but a patio with table, chairs and sun lounger! The room and in fact all of the hotel was spotlessly clean and very attractively decorated. The pool was very pleasant and again surrounded by the fantastic views. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty to choose from and made most enjoyable by our charming hosts. We would highly recommend this hotel and staff and will certainly visit again! Grazie mille!

We stayed for 2 nights and everything about the hotel was perfect. Firstly THE VIEW wow just wow… Our room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom and a terrace with lake views which we woke up to each morning. The pool was lovely and refreshing as not heated but after a hot day sightseeing it’s nice to take a dip. The staff were amazing and would help us with anything like booking reservations or recommendations for restaurants. The location is in a nice quiet spot up on the hill and because we had a car it was no problem or if you’re super fit walk up and down it’s up to you. The hotel is in good location to ferry port for Bellagio or Varenna with parking close by which the staff are happy to help with. We would recommend staying at Hotel La Perla for stunning views helpful staff clean comfortable rooms lovely food with free parking.

I cannot rate this hotel high enough in terms of the owners welcome and total focus on customers. Every day morning and night they were there to greet us with a smile and to make sure we were happy providing local info and help whenever required. Facilities offered are excellent, wonderful clean and bright rooms with comfortable beds. All the little things like embroidered linen and tea making facilities replenished every day are so nice to have. The housekeeping is fabulous and We had the best breakfast experiences with incredible views every day and the food choice was great. Pool area is clean and lovely and quiet with sun all day long. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and loved being there. Thankyou for a wonderful Holiday experience. If I have to give one suggestion it would be for a bigger shower. Also, you do need transport to get up and down the hill but parking facilities are fine.

The streets are very narrow and full of people. There is traffic light control as the streets are only a cars width wide. On arrival at the hotel, stop at the gates and use the intercom. Greeted by lovely staff and given a welcome drink. We had a lake facing room with a balcony which had breathtaking views of the lake. We had a problem with mosquitoes in the room the first evening. You need to keep all windows and doors shut, curtains drawn. We followed this for the remainder of our stay and didn't have further problems. Breakfast choice is amazing. Pool superb and pool attendants were very helpful and always on hand. The grounds are beautiful. Good location for doing anything in Sirmione.

No question the best hotel in Sirmione. The minute we approached the gate and came up the drive it was going to be special. The hotel were all great, happy, and pleased to offer any suggestions for dinner reservations, bookings anywhere. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The pool area is also great which easy refreshment orders, pool towels and such. Breakfast is great with just about everything between the buffet and the menu out on the terrace overlooking the lake. Short walk through the back gate into central sirmione which was great to wonder around the streets. We also did a private sunset boat tour with Garda tours which I also couldn’t recommend enough. Bottle of sparkling wine and a tour on a lovely new boat was awesome at sunset. Very extravagant few days! Hopefully we’ll be back again!

This is a beautiful property, the grounds were fabulous. Our room was great, had a nice view of the lake and overlooked the lovely pool. I had helpful interactions with the front desk staff. Overall, it was a nice stay at a lovely property. I think they could make some improvements to their service to make it more in line with a true five star hotel. Our super tiny shower stall had a clogged drain, AC didn’t reach the bathroom, no extra towels provided, no drinks service at the pool, etc. The breakfast buffet food choices were fine, but the mains were not. Over the course of two breakfasts, my husband or I tried eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, an omelet and pancakes and all were just not good. Sirmoine was cute but super crowded during our visit. Trying to find the hotel was a harrowing experience, driving through narrow streets barely wide enough for the car, all packed with people giving you dirty looks. GPS seemed to glitch in the area and we had a tough time finding the hotel. I wish the hotel had provided some guidance beforehand. Only guests of hotels on the peninsula can drive there, otherwise you have to leave your car in the Sirmone car parks. I only knew this from reading past reviews, otherwise would have never known.

A place that has to be seen to be believed. On the top of the hill, nearly towards the end of the Sermione peninsula, in a park of 20+ heactares, with beautiful gardens full of marvellous trees, flowers, statutes and magnificent grand fountain. We had a big suite, which was with refined furniture, splendid bathroom, mini bar and coffee machine. Cleanliness and order - exemplary. The reception staff is amongst the best we have come across. Concierge service - beyond the call of duty for both we had contact with, Alberto and Ferdinando. Resolved a problem for us, which otherwise would have taken a good part of our time and a lot of angst! Thank you again! In the best traditions of the best hotel - the class is seen through how problems are resolved. All staff - kind and attentive. At times at breakfast, somewhat fretting and coffees may be delayed but wuickly fixed up. Breakfast good and sufficient, offering also a menu of cooked dishes. restaurant elegant with good food. A lunch at the restaurant at the lake shore is not to be missed! Warning - arriving by car requires negotiating the narrow and often overcrowded streets of Sirmione. Once in the Villa though, find the back gate and in five minutes walk you are in the centre of the town's life. There is nice swimming pool but even without using it or even visiting the town you will enjoy most idyllic environment and charming experience. An experience one wants to repeat as soon as one has left!

It would not be exaggerating to call this THE most perfect hotel we have encountered yet. It is stunning. The grounds, its elevated position with great views, access to a private pier on the lake and a swimming pool that was actually civilised and quiet. The guests were all polite and the staff are fantastic. I had one minor grumble here and they made up for it tenfold. Food is sublime. From home made pizza in a small van near the front dining terrace, to the wonderful breakfast and the five star main dining, they got it faultless. The service in the pier was great too. Almost don’t want to say too much more as it has a feel of being a hidden secret to it. We met a guest who’d been going 30 years and we resolved we might start on our journey to beating their track record. Honestly, terrific - 6 stars.

A great find! Residence Nuove Terme is ideally located in Sirmione, near to great restaurants, well stocked supermarkets, a bakery and of course the lake. The owner is a delight and is happy to help in any way, with suggestions for days out and where to find local amenities as well as carrying our heavy bags after our travels. He is friendly and often asked how we were and if he could help in any way. The children loved the pool which is a good size and not busy at all and very clean. The whole residence is well kept with lovely planted areas and overall very clean and tidy and the apartment was well appointed with all necessities as well as little touches like a welcome pack with tea, coffee, water and biscuits. Clean linens with plenty of towels and pool towels along with lots of hot water for showers. The addition of a dishwasher was great for us as we self catered a few times and meant it was less of a chore! Everything is in walking distance and we had a few days of not using the car and borrowed bikes to go into the centre of Sirmione and explore. Having a car was ideal for us to get out and about further afield and having a car park was essential. The location is perfect for exploring further afield with the motorway just up the road and the main road around the corner. It is a quiet place and we slept well every night. The addition of the air-conditioning was a bonus. Overall I would highly recommend for service and excellent value for money. Thank you!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay in Sirmione with our friends and kids. Flavio went out of his way to make sure we had absolutely everything we needed. His knowledge on the area was fantastic and very useful. The apartment was perfect for our family of 4 with two young kids. We had a garden which over looked the pool. The mornings were spent site seeing and pool used in the afternoon. Shuttle bus to Sirmione was good but you can also drive down and park quite easily. We found the neighbouring towns much quieter and easier to navigate. We particularly enjoyed the cable car at Macestine. Worth a visit if you have time. Thanks Flavio for a great stay :)

The host Flavio was super helpful in communications and deeds both pre and during stay. The apartment was really clean, very well equipped for self catering. The air conditioning in the rooms was so effective , providing a cool haven in the heat( unlike other places we have stayed). We were a family of 2 teenagers and we really enjoyed making use of the pool, nearby lake and bikes to visit the locality. Some really good restaurants nearby, some catering really well for allergies and gluten free menu. Local shop 2 mins away, and mgross supermarket less than 5 min cycle has better gluten free selection. Would return in a heart beat.

A great apartment complex outside the busier area of Sirmione, with a supermarket right outside, a pool, a parking arrangment and free rental bikes. The room had 1 bedroom, a bathroom, a living room with a kitchen, and a small yard piece. Room was very well equipped and nothing was missing. Owner was gracious towards us and offered recommendations and directions in the town and the vicinity. Finally, while Sirmione is famous for the rich castle area, being just outside it was perfect, right outside the noise and rumble of tourists, but still close to the main street with reachable restaurants (and worst case? we took the bike!).

I highly recommend this place! The hotel has a great, Italian style and is spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of utensils and a dishwasher, though I missed having an oven. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly, and the large, clean pool with well kept gardens is a big bonus. There's also a grill available. The location is ideal close to two shops and just a half hour walk to the old town. A great bonus is the availability of bikes included in the price, which is a huge plus and allows for easy exploration of the area.

On arrival we were met by friendly hotel staff who helped us straight away. I was staying at the hotel while (bike) racing locally and had a lot of extra equipment with me. Hotel help me find a place to store it all while I was there. The whole hotel, including the rooms, is modern, clean and comfortable. I suspect it was all built recently! Gigantic bed, huge flat screen TVs, etc. Room has a balcony but the view isn't spectacular (can't blame hotel for this). Things like extra pillows were proved immediately upon request. Only gripe (for me) was the air conditioning which wasn't yet turned on for the time of year - so found it a little warm the first night. It was turned on for whole hotel after the first night though and slept much better after that. Throughout my entire stay, the staff were always friendly, helpful and (spoke English perfectly). There is a restaurant attached to the hotel that provides breakfast with the room. The breakfasts were average at best, but we ate int he restaurant for dinner each night as the food was superb and very well-priced. Their pizzas (average price of €7) were definitely a highlight. But also a good range of other dishes to keep everyone happy. The service is FAST and friendly. I'd recommend the food even if not staying at the hotel!

Wonderful newer stylish hotel with huge seafood restaurant. Hotel is on town outskirts with great walk in natural surrounds steps away. They were very accommodating when we left a coat behind. The breakfast room was very spacious and delicious. Hotel does good job with covid protections.

It was such a nice hotel. The room was clean, the receptionists were great and we also visited restaurant in the evening when we came there. I can only reccomend this accomodation. It's really great option for everybody - also for families because of playground.

The service at this hotel is outstanding. Everyone we interacted with was so professional and so welcoming and not obsequious. We felt like welcomed guests. Our first interaction when we checked in was to learn we had been upgraded to a superior room. When we learned that the restaurant was booked for the evening, they found us a table which was perfect for a romantic dinner. Our room was excellent, including a little walk out patio on the roofline where we enjoyed a glass of wine. Dinner at the restaurant was outstanding- also with excellent service. But the most memorable part of this restaurant was their breakfast. Unbelievable range of breakfast options- fresh fruit and meats, all kinds of breads and pastries, eggs, bacon, salmon, cereals, and so much more. Topped off with fruit juices, prosecco, and a cappuccino what more could you ask for? Presentation was memorable. It filled an entire beautiful room and was very artfully displayed. Location was excellent for visiting Milan for a day trip. Hotel gave us excellent tip to take bus and metro rather than the train. They also recommended a really fun local restaurant we could walk to from the hotel for our second night there. All in all, we could not have asked for a better experience for our first visit to Italy. Grazie mille to the entire staff and support team at this hotel. It deserves the designation "small luxury hotel of the world".

This is a very special type of hotel, where you feel like you are at home, and the family feeling is there. Since it is not a huge hotel, normally guests will be called by name at the reception And I never had any issues with any requests, to help with parking or find an umbrella, to make some food even a restaurant is already closed or to get something special, outside menu. Th restaurant is excellent, exceptionally nice, it deserves to get Michelin starts, but then it will be impossible to get there. This time I stayed in the room 214, and I believe this is one of the best if not the best, with the beautiful Italian balcony and great view in the castle and park of roses.

This is indeed an Italian, classically styled luxury hotel. While checking in, we were told we were upgraded to a better room; this is always a pleasant start. The hotel building is amazing, it is definitely worth a discovery tour; every corridor and corner has something exciting. Our room was spacious, clean, and classically decorated in a tasteful way. I think the walk-in closet would suit guests travelling with their entire wardrobe. The bed, the mattress, the pillows (down/feather and also a memory one for each person), and the duvet were all of very high quality and really comfortable. Both the decoration and the comfort of the bathroom is worth mentioning. The bar serves excellent Negronis. This hotel has an identity & atmosphere like few others.

The staff were accommodation as when we checked in late for.delays getting there the restraunt was closed for food but they rustled a pizza up for the both of us which was so good. The room and hotel ooozed such italian character. It isn't normally the style of the hotel we would go for, but we're glad we experienced it as this is where the F1 drivers stay when they visit Monza. Ideal location to the Monza track. They provide free bikes to be able to bike around the park if you wish and explore Monza. I recommend to go and check out the F1 store, well worth the visit. Thank you for a lovely stay. The hotel was simply superb, from the staff and accommodation to the exceptional breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and surrounding area right across from the Royal Palace of Savoy and its gardens. This was, by far, the most luxurious, opulent hotel we've ever stayed in, but with a very unpretentious, homey and welcoming feeling. As if you stepped back in time, but with all the modern amenities you could ask for. And Monza in August has just the right number of tourists to be interesting without being crowded. Only downside: we missed the Formula 1 race by a weekend. But all the more reason to return to this quaint Italian city and one-of-a-kind Hotel de la Ville Monza!

Everything about this hotel was fantastic and it is such a romantic and beautiful view of Lake Garda. The location is right in the middle of the town overlooking a beautiful little marina for local fishing boats with access to plenty of restaurants, shopping and access to ferries. The room was clean, modern and roomy and serviced daily with a fantastic little balcony overlooking the lake, perfect for an afternoon drink. The breakfast was delicious with a wide selection available to suite all tastes and very generous. There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel which had the best menu in the city and gave a 10% discount to hotel patrons. Apart from the lovely room, this was also excellent value for money with the breakfast included, and we had a car and the parking was also included and the transport from the carpark to the hotel for you and your luggage.

The staff were lovely and the breakfast in the morning was lovely, It was thunderstorms while we were there and we were still able to have breakfast on the balcony, from the car park we had a golf cart shuttle take us to the hotel so perfect if you have larger bags, The hotel is in the middle and right on the waterfront with plenty of restaurants and bars surrounding it, We had eaten at the restaurant one rainy evening as it is outside yet still covered were as other options to eat were in the open so it was to eat inside, the restaurant was amazing the food was beautiful and the value for food was hard to come by again truly a hidden gem, lovely food, pasta and staff, even if you don't stay you have to eat there,

The welcome at the hotel was warm and friendly. The check in process was seamless and Maria took very good care of us. The room was excellent, clean and offered great views of the lake. The bathroom was a good size and the usual toiletries were provided. The room was serviced daily. The upper floors are serviced by a lift. A parking arrangement is provided. The staff throughout the hotel were extremely customer focussed and always smiled and exchanged pleasantries when going by. The restaurants both upstairs and downstairs provided a varied menu and meals and drinks were reasonably priced. Must give a “shout out” to Paolo and the team in the downstairs restaurant, they provided excellent service and always with a smile. Overall this hotel is exceptional and we highly recommend it for an enjoyable and very comfortable stay.

We stayed in a self-contained studio called "La Corte". A cleaner came in every day to make bed and replenish tea/coffee pods. The apartment is beautifully fitted out to an extremely high standard, with a huge bed. There is a kettle/2 types of coffee makers/toaster/microwave and a 2 pan hob/fridge/freezer/table & chairs and sofa bed, if needed. The apartment had air conditioning and was right in centre of Limone with immediate access to all the restuarants and shops and Lake. Perfect location. Couldn't have asked for better. Breakfast is available at nearby at Albergo Ristorante if you don't feel like cooking your own!

The apartment is set overlooking the main small square in Limone. The location is superb, surrounded by small shops and bars overlooking the lake with some of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten in just a stone’s throw away. The ferry port is a very short walk from the apartment too. The whole property was pristine from the entrance downstairs all the way through the apartment. It was cleaned for us every day and fresh towels waited for us daily too. It was presented to a very high standard throughout. The staff were available to us 24/7 if we needed them.

I went to Como on a road trip. I could not book any of the famous hotels in the area. I also had a toddler so I needed to stay near supermarkets etc. I booked Como Hills on a whim, not sure what to expect but the room was very clean and the shower was very strong. Most of all the staff under the current manager (July, 2025) made everything super efficient. They were all attentive, alert and kind. Right now I am staying at a hotel at another city which cost 100x more than Como Hills per night but all the staff is so horrible that I told my husband maybe they need to replace all of them with the team from Como Hills (no joke)! Highlight : the swimming pool had a rubber mat underneath for soft landing, and several tiers of baby pool depth levels : the combo was so perfect for my toddler who is learning to swim with me this summer. I have been all over the world and in many hotels : both casual and lux but this pool, was designed so perfectly for kids (families) maybe other famous and super expensive hotels should come and study it.

From the first warm welcome at reception to the thoughtful check-out, the staff made the stay truly special. They were not only professional and courteous, but genuinely caring—always ready with a smile, quick to offer help. The rooms were a highlight in themselves: spacious, modern, and beautifully furnished with an eye for both comfort and style. I loved the clean, minimalist design paired with cozy touches—plus, everything felt fresh and well-maintained. What sets this hotel apart are its amenities. With 11 padel courts, both indoor and outdoor, it’s a dream for sports lovers. The pool was equally impressive—clean, quiet, and perfect for relaxation. The breakfast was excellent, offering beverages, fresh fruits, pastries, and made-to-order options. They offered us a free ride to the nearby train station, which was a thoughtful extra that made local travel effortless. In short, Como Hills Hotel goes above and beyond in every way, whether you're here for leisure, sports, or a mix of both. I couldn’t recommend it more and can’t wait to return.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Francesco, the manager, is exceptional with guests, Raj is a wealth of knowledge on Lake Como’s best dining and sightseeing spots, and Gaia at the front desk is simply lovely. The restaurant team was outstanding, especially the host, and every detail of our stay felt personalised. They even helped me plan my engagement proposal, arranging a private boat and photographer hire – a memory we’ll cherish forever. The padel courts were fantastic and became part of our morning routine, while the food was outstanding from breakfast through to lunch, dinner, and poolside snacks. I truly can’t recommend this hotel enough.

The hotel is centrally located in Como, close to the market, public transport, and the harbor. Our room was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the pool, and equipped with modern furniture and a coffee machine. The staff were very kind and welcoming. A special thanks to Gaia, who guided us personally from the main road to the hotel a wonderful gesture. We also appreciated the thoughtful gift card. Overall, a very comfortable stay with excellent hospitality.

Free transfer to the center of Como and paid transfer to/from the airport. Excellent area with sun loungers by the pool. There are additional beach towels in the room. Gorgeous location, right on the lake (by which you can have breakfast, or evening n drinks, if you wish), and incredibly convenient for all you'll need in Sirmione - the local thermal spa, charming and small grocery with local meats and cheese, shops, beach, Roman ruins, boat trips, and more. Bikes are available to borrow when you want to go further afield. The hotel and the owners themselves have great character and charm. Not stuffy or overly formal.Charming and very helpful owners. All the staff were really lovely. A fantastic, sumptuous breakfast spread with amazing choice - for every taste. Lovely, elegant, and spotless rooms with that essential AC (for the warm nights). They kindly upgraded our room to one with a better view (i.e. lake) at very late notice when one became available. A perfect place to go for a calming, peaceful, and rejuvenating holiday. I recommend you ask Fabio for a delicious vermouth with ice in the evening, and enjoy on the lakeshore with the setting sun, or moonlight.

It was in the heart of beautiful Sirmione making it quick and easy to get to the shops, restaurants, spa, beach or gardens. The service was the best part. All the staff was exceptional. They made us feel welcome from initial contact and helped us coordinate our arrival and departure from the nearest train station. The breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve seen at a hotel. The spread of food was huge and most importantly it was delicious! They had savory and sweet options. They had juice, milk, and made cafe to order. They had an absolutely gorgeous outdoor garden space. It also had a wonderful private outdoor seating area right on the lake. This made it a perfect place to enjoy the sunset over the Dolomites mountains. We would stay here again in this inviting, friendly hotel again for sure. We stayed here as a couple on our anniversary but it would be great for families or individuals as well.

Hotel Catullo is simply perfect - in the literal sense: everything has the exact right measure, with no unnecessary excess, everything is done with care and a great sense of style. The wonderful garden with access to the lake where to rest, sip a drink and relax. The care put in all details, from the Catullus quotes to the comfortable lounge, to the choice of local, delicious wines. Not to mention the splendid dinner on the lake at sunset and the room showing dedicated attention in all details (we particularly appreciated the AC, not too strong, just right to cope with the exceptional heat). The same care all the staff puts in the relation with guests, habitual ones and those like us who happened to be there by chance for only a few days. But we will come back.

The location was fantastic! Lakeside location with a wonderful private jetty from which you can swim in the lake, which we did! Breakfast was excellent, our room was spacious and with stunning views onto the lake. Customer service was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautiful and has a stunning rooftop garden, along with a varied outside area to sit in. This is truly one of the most memorable locations we have ever stayed in and would highly recommend it to anyone. We sincerely hope we shall be fortunate enough to come back and visit Sirmione again and would not hesitate to come back to the wonderful Hotel Catullo. Thank you so much for looking after us.

A charming hotel, set back from the main street of Bellagio however, a very easy stroll to everything, including the ferries. After a very long day of trains, planes and automobiles (and ferries) I was greeted by Michael with a smile, a cold drink and escorted straight to my room! My room, on the top floor was spacious, well appointed and the king bed, very comfortable. Furnished in the “Italian style”. Accessed by stairs or lift. Air conditioner worked very well! The ensuite was well appointed (shower only). I had a wonderful skylight that had a shading system, lovely to have open of a night time and a Juliet balcony, with terrific views of the lake and surrounding neighbourhood. The hotel is set around a courtyard with tables and chairs and a magnificent tall tree. You can breakfast here or inside the adjacent breakfast room. At breakfast you had plenty to choose from, continental or cooked, with some delicious pastries. Coffee freshly made for you. Either side of the lane way was a variety of restaurants that seemed to be popular with the locals and so, not far to travel for dinner after a busy day sightseeing. Everyone I had contact with at the hotel were friendly, welcoming and very obliging, in a “family type of way”. As a solo traveller I felt very much at home here and I would love to return. We found the hotel ‘Centrale’ online based on location, reviews, and the value for the money criterion. Now, after spending a week there, I am grateful of the people, who provided opinions, and want to add my ‘two cents’ by addressing the things that are a little less represented in the reviews, but make all the difference. Centrale has a perfect location, if you want to spend a few days at beautiful Bellagio, the hotel is a three-minute walk (literally) to the center and lake piers, a three-minute walk up to the main street, which crosses Bellagio all the way. The main thing, however, I wanted to highlight, is the hotel itself. It has the genuine charm and spirit of the lake Come area and Italy. Nice, lovely, not big, blossoming plants are everywhere. If you look closely, you will notice that every detail small and big was carefully thought through, beautifully designed, and functional. That is not surprising, because the hotel is family owned. You will be greeted with a genuine smile and a desire to make your stay here the most pleasant. You will feel it during breakfast or while asking for information and advice. There is an atmosphere of unobtrusive warmth and comfort around, which sets the stage for a perfect vacation. That is what we have experienced during our stay, and we wish you the same!

Love, love, love this charming hotel! Amazing breakfasts, wonderful staff, they were very helpful with email communication ahead of my arrival (they helped me with ferry and train information), and we lived the traditional style of decor - it is lovely! It is clean and quiet, the A/C works well, there are nice little areas outdoors to relax after a day of shopping or before bed after a nice shower. Grapevines cover a pergola on the second floor terrace. Lemon trees can be found potted nearby, vegetable plants and an olive tree. We love the gated entry and pretty glass doors throughout the building. They do have an elevator. My only suggestion if you don’t like hard beds and firm pillows this may not suit you but to be honest, everywhere we have stayed in Italy so far (Siena and Rome too) has very firm beds and pillows! Also, perhaps due to older plumbing, our shower did not drain well. We kept having to turn the water off while soaking up then turn the water back on. We did mention it to the front desk but it didn’t really improved but it never overflowed either. I would stay here again, nowhere is perfect … and the positive attributes of this hotel and staff far outweigh any small problems we had.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel Centrale Bellagio at the end of August 2024. The hotel is centrally located, just a five-minute walk from the ferry. Like many hotels in Bellagio, reaching it requires walking up a number of steps through town, which is part of the village’s charming and historic layout. While this may be something to keep in mind, it also adds to the authentic experience of staying in such a beautiful lakeside destination. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, exuding a charming rustic ambiance. It features two lovely courtyards—one at the front entrance and another on the upper levels—both available for guests to enjoy. The breakfast selection was excellent, offering a variety of options. My room was comfortable and clean, though the shower may feel a bit small for those with a larger frame. Each room appears to have a unique layout, which I appreciated, as it adds to the character of the hotel. Lastly, and most importantly, the owners of this family-run hotel were incredibly kind and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend Hotel Centrale Bellagio and look forward to returning!

Incredible stay with Mikaela and his family! Every time I emailed them, they would respond immediately. Giving me very specific instructions of how to get to Bellagio ( which saved a lot of time and money and agrivation.) Dave and I wanted to thank you all personally for a wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time with them at breakfast which was full and varied. Mikaela makes the best cappuccinos! The room and outside patio was perfect , really large with lovely views. We had friends next door who had the same great balcony and view. Mikaela is like a work horse and brings all our heavy cases up and down the many stairs with ease!😂 They even helped our friends with directions ( for getting to Rome and getting around!in Rome!😂) So ignore some unhappy people in these reviews . If you don’t enjoy this location, gardens, serenity , friendly smiles and attention, then maybe stay home! Much better price than larger hotels on front road which appeared noisier and less calming .( even though we walk at of hotels Centrale into the craziness of restaurants and bars etc.) Book early for best rooms!

The owners and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful…. we were greeted every time like we were friends rather than this being our first stay. The hotel is very traditional in its style and design, so if you’re after a boutique hotel, then this is not the place for you. However, it is the perfect location at the tip Sirmione peninsula, with bars and restaurants in strolling distance in one direction and Jamaica Beach in the other. The owners pride about their place clearly showed through and I would definitely stay again. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels if needed. Breakfast was a buffet style with fresh croissant each morning. The roof top terrace was perfect for sunbathing and the icing on the cake would be a plunge pool for when temps soar!

We had 5 nights here after staying in Verona - we’d never been to this part of Lake Garda. We had room 205 which had a balcony overlooking the rear of the hotel. Room was comfortable, clean and homely - the owners are lovely and fun and all the staff are friendly - the lady bakes cakes - do try them at breakfast - I’m diabetic so I cut a slither - recommend the pistachio one - but I did eat the whole meal (?) croissants … really lovely. We ate 3 times at the restaurant- the menu is great - my partner had the mixed fish on all 3 nights because he said it was so good, I had the braised beef in vegetable sauce, lasagne and chicken salad - the dressing on the salad was light and scrummy … caused a bit of a stir when asking how it was made as they thought I didn’t like it - but I really did and I’m fussy about dressings!!! They booked a taxi for us to get to the train station - really fun people and you can fine and take your dog so I met lots of people - the nicest part for me in all this comfort was coming back from a day travelling by ferry somewhere - sitting outside with a drink and sparrows sitting on my hand sharing peanuts - honestly they are so tame and so sweet and something inside of me de stressed whilst sitting quietly and not moving feeling at one with nature at such a beautiful place - I’d definitely go back - no pool but a sun terrace which was great … we both loved it

Just fantastic! I have returned from staying at this hotel with my partner, sister and her husband. We had two separate rooms, mine being exactly opposite the door leading out onto the roof terrace. This was the most relaxing space, with lovely views over the lake. There was a phone that you could use to ring down to the bar and order drinks, food, cakes, ice cream etc. which was then delivered to you in a very timely fashion. The hotel was in a superb location, out of the hustle and bustle of the main Sirmione area but literally minutes walk to get amongst it. We had a very good sized room and the bathroom was more than adequate. Breakfast was delicious every morning, I've never had cake for breakfast before but , being confronted with the most delicious home made cakes, I had to make an exception! You could have bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage, bread, toast, hams, cheeses, fruit, yoghurts and more besides. We certainly had no complaints at all. I also recommend the evening meals. We had one on our last night and my only regret is that we hadn't had one on the first night, so that we could have returned for another one. The staff at this hotel are truly amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They went above and beyond for us on a daily basis. I can't thank them enough for making our stay such a lovely one. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to return and stay there again in the future.

AMAZING stay in this charming hotel in Sirmione! The hotel is in a great location, just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Sirmione old town, the castle, the Lido, and Jamaica Beach. What sets this hotel apart from other hotels is the incredible service. We stay in hotels all over the world, and we travel a lot, and we have honestly never experienced such genuinely friendly service. From the wonderful welcome at reception, to the restaurant staff and of course the lovely owners, it felt very much like everyone really wanted all the guests to have the best experience, and it worked because we did! Our room was a double room on the front of the hotel with good air conditioning, a fridge in the room, and a spacious bathroom. If I was being critical, I would have liked an iron and ironing board in the room but not the end of the world. As we didn't have a room with a balcony (some of the other rooms do have them), we made use of the great sun terrace on the roof, which was a real sun trap! Breakfast was hot and cold, although the hot items were limited, it was all delicious and a good selection. A great start to the day. As we had an early flight home, the hotel made a takeaway breakfast up for everyone leaving early, which I thought was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and hope to visit again in the near future.

We parked at the autosilo which was only a four minute walk. If you have a van it can be kind of tight in the parking lot. Area of hotel was safe, easy walk to water. Contact hotel before you arrive and they will arrange boat tours and experiences for you. Room was really nice and a great shower. Can’t speak for the A/C since it was only 70 degrees outside and early April (so heat hasn’t been turned off). We turned off the heat, opened the room balcony to cool it down (and it did.) and relaxed. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast normal euro fare and good, with a special cake/pastry each day. I would recommend and return.

A gem of a boutique hotel.. Stayed 3 nights in June and from the moment of arrival to departure it was a fantastic experience.. The staff were great and made us feel welcome on every occasion..Special thank you to Nicoletta whose warm, friendly and genuine manner made our stay truly a home from home.. The hotel was spotless and comfortable and in a brilliant location to restaurants, Lake Como ferry, shops and more. The rooms where well appointed and beds very comfortable and linen spotless.. Great sleep each night and although hotel is central there was zero noise( a rarity in most places).. The breakfast was delicious and of high quality ingredients and the waiting staff polite, helpful and courteous.. Overall truly a 5 star experience and would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat..Really enjoyed Como, the food, the area and the hospitality from the Italians.. Grazie Mille

Cute boutique hotel in the heart of Como. Our stay included free breakfast which included amazing restaurant quality options. Stayed in Blue Room on ground floor. The room was a good size and it had an outdoor private patio seating area. Might not be the best room for light sleepers as the room is near the restaurant kitchen and storage areas and the noise from staff accessing those areas travels into the room. However if you’re a light sleeper just choose a room on a higher floor and you won’t have a problem. Overall great stay with warm staff and an unbeatable breakfast. Will stay again next time in Lake Como.

We traveled with a group of 16 and just about filled the hotel. Diana was just amazing, and professionally and kindly took care of our every need. She paid attention to every detail and offered very helpful information along with great local suggestions. We looked forward to speaking to her each morning at breakfast (which was also good). The hotel was very charming and beautifully decorated. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was in an excellent location to many shops and restaurants and was very close to the water’s edge. The outdoor seating area was also very nice. Highly recommend!

Just returned from a 4 night stay in this fabulous hotel. Tucked away but right in the old walled town of Como close to the lake, Cathedral and lots of incredible restaurants. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and a great breakfast included. But the real highlight is the staff. All were lovely, kind and nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Dianna and Nicoletta whose welcome and recommendations for where to go and restaurants were just fab. We had a lovely surprise from the staff on our wedding anniversary too. This location combines everything and is a charming paradise — a true discovery! The property is situated in a really lovely village (Solferino - with history of Napoleon battle) and where you can go on nice walks, explore the various vineyards, and eat at the trattoria (Locanda all’avanguardia) which serves delicious homemade food and a variety of locally produced goods. We had a wonderful experience, and the staff was very kind and eager to show you about the area. In addition, there is a little grocery store where you can get goods created locally and by the trattoria, such as olive oil, buffalo stew, cakes, and a delicious corner of local spirits/wines like gin, vermouth, grappa. We cherished it! Thanks a lot to the whole team ! We will come back for sure 😜

This is an absolutely underrated gem. The establishment is located ca. 13 km from lake Garda, and secluded among the many hills, in a romantic small hill, and located on a town square reminiscent of what we saw in Malena and Cinema Paradiso. But if there is one thing which alone makes it worth to come here, that would be the restaurant. It is telling that during our stay the restaurant was packed for lunch and dinner - and not only with hotel guests. Even hotel guests needed a reservation. I won't go into details, but during our three nights' stay, we tried different meats, pasta and sides, and the food experience alone makes it worthwile coming back.

The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We arrived late and they were able to squeeze us into their very popular Trattoria. Our kids were exhausted and they made them dinner and brought it up to our room. They did the same thing for breakfast the next day. The family room was large and clean. We were only there for the night, but wished we could have stayed longer.

For those who after busy day look for calm evening or waking up without typical big city morning noise, it is perfect place to rest. The hotel has also restaurant and food was delicious there. And you always find a table to sit. Rooms big, modern and confortable. Owner and his team very friendly. Secured parking.. It was only 20 min from Gardaland, very confortable distance.

The room was spotless, and we enjoyed the terrace overlooking the town square. The bed, sheets, and pillows were comfortable—we slept great. The restaurant is fabulous and offers creative dishes for carnivores and vegans alike. The staff is friendly, responsive, and professional. We liked the combination lock, so we didn't have to worry about a key. Truly a wonderful stay.

Yes, it doesn't have a pool, but very few hotels around Menaggio do, unless of course, you're willing to pay over £2000 a night. The rooms are adequately comfortable, are a decent size, and the bathrooms have clearly recently been modernized. We had a lake view room albeit with a small balcony, but big enough to sit and take in the breathtaking views of the lake, with Bellagio and Varena in view on the other side of the lake. By far the hotels greatest asset is it's location, opposite the lake. To the side of the hotel is Piazza Garibaldi which is not only incredibly beautiful, but also has an array of restaurants and gelato shops. Within a short walk is a large supermarket selling literally everything, and bus stops are literally a stones throw away, taking you to other towns, should you chose to do so. The views from our balcony, and our walks along the lake will live with me forever. I was incredibly impressed with this property and the service provided by the staff, particularly the team in the breakfast room who were incredibly friendly.

This was our first stop in Italy and our favourite stay. Menaggio is a MUST if visiting Italy and this accomodation is the place to be. Although the hotel is not very new and modern, I would definitely stay again due to the most incredible location. You are staying in the main piazza, facing the main lake. Beneath the hotel are two incredibly restaraunts where we spent our entire day just staring at the water. Would be nice for the hotel to renovation and upgrade their rooms however the location makes this so worth while. There is also a public swimming pool 5 minutes down the road which we found out about on our last day that we wished we knew about sooner.

The room and bathroom and bed was awesome and the towels. Great location. My brother and his wife stayed at more expensive hotel with a pool. But the rooms have never been updated

We loved this hotel in Menaggio! It was one of the lower priced hotels of our trip so far but it did not feel like it at all. The room & bathroom were very very spacious and the location was great. I wish we could’ve got a lake view room - but I booked over 6 months in advance and they were already sold out and I definitely see why. I am normally a Marriott property person and am very picky with hotels and we kept saying how much we loved this hotel. We also didn’t know if Menaggio was the best town to stay in and it turns out it was. The others were way too crowded and it was nice coming back here for a relaxing couple of days of our trip before we went off to the next city. Staff were all super nice as well. If we ever come back to lake como - we will stay here again.

Highly recommend. From the moment we arrived we could not fault this hotel, Michela went out of her way to get us into our room early after our long flight from Australia. Michela and Marco were a fantastic help with ferry times and restaurant recommendations, the ladies in the breakfast room (good Italian breakfast) were happy and keen to provide plenty of coffee, even the cleaners had a smile on their face 😀. The rooms were well designed, we had a little balcony and a view of Lake Como (room 207, recommend). Hotel has a lift. Easy 5 minute walk from Ferry. Recommend Cera restaurant which is in the same building, a bit more expensive but great food and service Cafe Del Pess. Cheaper but OK Can’t recommend La Gralla restaurant, over rated. Can’t recommend Hotel Garni Corona more highly, seemed to be well priced too, for the waterfront location, staff and amenities.

The steam room had a bit of a smell of mould though.

Great discovery, the hotel itself and Bormio as well! Even though we arrived quite late, the reception was still open and the receptionist was kind enough to give us helpful information. He also suggested a bar that could still serve us a meal at those late hours, which was also a good experience. We went to Bormio off season, but could still find the location amazing. I am sure during the winter it's even more spectacular. The hotel has also an underground parking, which you have to reserve beforehand and pay for, but it was important for us to know that the car and our belongings are safe. We happened to find the lobby and the breakfast areas under construction, but we were informed about it beforehand and it didn't cause us any disruption. The breakfast was one of the best ones we've had in a while at a hotel, and the staff were impeccable. The room was spacious and cozy, and we loved the fact that our room had it's own private terrace. Too bad we only had one night to enjoy it. Very happy to have had the chance to stay in this hotel, and would definitely love to return!

We chose this hotel as a stopover on our way to Tuscany in Italy and it was a great choice and they also welcomed to our two small dogs. The room was spacious and the bathroom was nice too. The car park is also situated under the hotel which made it easy to move the baggage about. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff were excellent, and I cannot rate them highly enough. This place would be grateful for any time of the year to explore the area And it was very close to the centre of town. Thanks

As a cyclist the location is perfect, close to centre of town & to the local climbs. It has a bike lock up room in the garage with a stand to to do bike repairs, some tools, & hang the bike from hooks. The breakfast is awesome, as are the staff that work throughout the hotel. They are always happy to help. I would not hesitate to book here again if i came back.

We loved the style and feel of the property. The timber lined walls throughout have a calming and clean feel. The stone floors are lovely. The location was just right for us, a quick walk to the Main Street, yet on the quiet side of the river with access to other restaurants and cafes. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff throughout the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

We recently stayed at this lovely family run hotel in July 2024 for a family wedding. Overall ,we had a wonderful experience. Rooms were clean and modern with excellent air conditioning. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff or management. Every effort was made to accommodate requests. Spa and pool area well maintained and clean. Panoramic views from may vantage points. Transfer services to Bergamo airport arranged by the hotel were efficient and on time. As mentioned ,we stayed for a wedding and most if not all the guests at the hotel were there for the same event. This created a lovely ambience and relaxed atmosphere creating a " home away form home" . The wedding reception ,food and service was top class. We particularly enjoyed the lovely wedding cake ,made "in house ". A truly family affair! We would be very happy to stay here again .

My partner & I spent a weekend here and had the most incredible time relaxing at the spa and pool, enjoying the amenities, experiencing breathtaking views and quality dining options at breakfast and dinner. The staff were all very kind and accommodating and treated us very well. They sorted our round trip airport transportation, helped us extend our stay when needed and any other questions we had were answered promptly and kindly. This is the perfect way to spend a relaxed, tranquil weekend of luxury!

Staff are very attentive and always happy to help, the team work really good together and this adds to the lovely environment in the hotel. The food is excellent and the music entertainment was a great addition. The room and pool facilities were great and very clean. We felt very relaxed and did not leave the hotel from when we arrived as all our needs could be met there.

Beautiful resort with indoor outdoor pool and plenty of loungers for everyone to enjoy bathe sun and the view. Our room was handsomely decorated. The entire staff was exceptional. The breakfast offering were exceptional and with a lovely view. We ate in the restaurant three nights and one lunch; all of the meals were delicious, varied and at a very good price. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had a super relaxing couple of nights at Hotel Ristorante Sogno. The lake view room was great, clean and modern. Breakfast was a great sit down selection of fruit, pastries, bread, pancakes & eggs to order. Loved swimming or relaxing by the pool with the view of the lake, or wandering down the steps straight onto the lake, where there’s another cafe / bar on an adjacent jetty to the hotel restaurant. You can also rent kayaks and paddle boards just here which is great fun. The hotel restaurant has some great food if you fancy something a little more fine dining or the cafe has some good snack type food, and there’s another pizzeria a 2-3 minute walk up the street which was nice.

everything is just perfect, as the name Sogno, it's a dream. Every single detail is studied with utmost accuracy. Personnel is helpful and kind. Breakfast is absolutely stunning, you have everything for everyone and with quality, furthermore it's served. The rooms and the hotel is really clean. We have been here several times and it's always perfect. The atmosphere is cosy and very tranquil and also the pool area is relaxing and quiet. When you go back home you feel completely serene.

Spectacular location, beautiful building, gardens and pool

Although everyone’s experience is personal, this hotel had absolutely everything I was looking for. It’s a boutique, stylish, four-star hotel — quiet, high-quality, and simply perfect in every way. One of the most important features (which we only fully appreciated after exploring the area) is that you don’t have to drive through the tunnels along Lake Garda to reach the hotel. Everything was excellent: the food, the room quality, the beautiful garden, and the breathtaking view. It’s a wonderful family-run hotel. After dinner, while I was walking with my parents through the lounge, the owner came over and warmly shared old photographs and stories with us, which was a very touching and friendly gesture. We were extremely satisfied with everything and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone! P.S. The two little Raffaellos placed on our beds at night were proof of their attention to the smallest details — they truly stole my heart with this gesture.

The staff was wonderful!! Lara at check in was so helpful with our bags and parking and what to expect…lake Garda was a last minute decision for us…and it was a good one!! The restaurant was right on the water, the food was terrific..the beach was steps from the hotel…chairs included and lots of access to toys. John Luca, one of the family owners, very handsome, set us up with a private sunset cruise - that part of the Lake is stunning and calm.. The breakfast buffet was on point, sweet Maria served up delicious coffees and special eggs and bacon for my husband..I had way to many of the sweeties We added an extra night and upgraded too.. the view from our suite was amazing!!!

My husband and I loved our stay at Hotel Cristal in Sirmione! One of the highlights of our visit was the incredibly kind and helpful staff, especially Simone at the reception, he was courteous, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but very modern and well-equipped. The hotel is conveniently located near a Migros supermarket, and there are plenty of great restaurants just a short walk away. One special memory was being able to enjoy dinner on the rooftop with our friends, the view was amazing, and of course, everything was made even better thanks to the ever-accommodating Simone. It was a lovely evening! Parking was easy to find, which was a huge plus. I’m not sure if it gets busier during peak season, but during our visit, Lake Garda and the surrounding area were comfortably lively. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back!

This is a very new hotel and it's obvious that it is really well maintained. The room was very clean at all times and overall the hotel felt really clean. A big terrace for the room gave us a beautiful vibe and a small view towards the lake. Smart TV is at disposal, offering direct access to streaming services, a really good feat. Breakfast was very tasty although choices could be bigger. For some other supplies, a supermarket is very close. Parking is free but there is no guarantee that there are available spots in front of the hotel. However, there is a public parking in next street which makes no hassle to come by car.

The Hotel was beautiful, very modern, our room was clean and spacious ( exactly like the photos). The rooms were cleaned everyday which was amazing. All of the staff were lovely, special mention to Alex and Simon who were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect, it had a bit of everything. The bar was a nice area to relax very cozy. The location of the hotel was convenient, close to the bus stations which took us around the towns. The bike rental was helpful for us as we werent driving. Overall we absolutely loved our stay, would definitely recommend and if we are in the area again we will be coming back!

We loved it! Comfortable bed, great pillows, a lot of towels, superb hairdryer in the bathroom. Very modern and clean. Nice smelling toiletries. Slippers in the bathroom were such a great addition to everything else in the bathroom. Huge balcony with armchairs and a table. Coffee and tea in the room. This was the fifth hotel we stayed during our 7 days trip and it was far the best one and the least expensive one! Free parking in front of the hotel. Breakfast was great. This is so much more than a 3*star hotel.

With a mix of 5 different sauna/ steam room, showers, “ice” bath, ice scrubs, plenty of relaxation areas and of course the two pools it really was hard to beat. The staff where incredible! We used the concierge regularly during our day for ease of planning, including for taxis for further away, and they did amazing, so slick and precessional. I would highly recommend this hotel. We got engaged during our trip to garda and a-rosa really has made the trip unforgettable. Thank you for making our special trip even more special

Location with a beautiful view of Salò and Lake Garda. Spacious room with a very comfy bed. Nice pool area with plenty of lounge chairs on the property. Large SPA area with a separate indoor and outdoor pool. The whole property is arranged beautifully with plants and plenty of green space. Nice sitting areas around the bar and the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is generous with plenty of options for everyone's taste.

Beautiful hotel with incredible decor and a real luxury feeling. The staff were all very accommodating, friendly and welcoming! Having multiple pools was super useful, especially the indoor spa pool as we had a full day of rain when visiting. The location is perfect - short 45minute drive from Verona airport, right beside the beautiful town of Saló, and only 30-40minutes from popular towns such as Limone, Riva etc. We had a lovely breakfast each morning included in the price with lots of variety! The spa facilities were great. My husband used the sauna and gym daily and I had a lovely massage on our final day. We felt that the price was extremely reasonable for a 5 star hotel and for all that there was on offer! We would definitely stay again!

This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. The room was incredibly spacious and clean and the bed was so comfortable. We loved the facilities available at the accommodation - four lovely saunas/steam rooms, three pools, a great gym and plenty of areas to sit and relax around the property. The breakfast was incredible and we loved eating at the restaurant each night of our stay. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

I stayed at Urban Hive with my mum for 5 days a couple of weeks ago and without a doubt, this stay really made our trip. The hotel itself is situated very close to a Metro stop, and it was extremely easy to get to from Linate Airport via Metro. We were too early for check-in but the hotel let us keep our bags there and go and explore for the day. The hotel itself is around 10-15 mins walk from sights such as the Duomo, in a quieter area which had some small shops and restaurants, which is more what we prefer rather than being in the centre of it all. We regularly walked into the centre but also used the Metro for a couple of further away trips, which was very straightforward. Our room was beautifully decorated and very well kept, and cleaned well every day. We had a 'La Cosy Twin' room and it was more than spacious enough for us. We loved the body lotion and body wash and hair products provided in the bathroom. The TV was great as it had English channels as well as Italian and we enjoyed watching some films on Sky cinema! We paid for breakfast and it was amazing, so much to choose from and even gluten free packaged products for me which I was not expecting to get and really made me happy! Last but not least, I cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone who works here is so friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our stay here and would love to return. We wish there were more hotels like this across the world.

Hotel is modern, with lots of funky little touches that makes it a unique experience for travellers. On arrival the reception staff were pleasant and helpful, the fact we were awarded with 'Guest of the Day' free drink at the bar really won us over! Our room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, plenty of electrical sockets for chargers etcetera, and an excellent coffee machine with a variety of coffee capsules, and tea bags. No milk capsules though, us Brits tend to take their coffee with milk, but that's a minor complaint. The bathroom is roomy, shower is fabulous, shampoo, conditioner, shower cream all provided. Two hairdriers, one is a Dyson. The added touch of a chocolate on the bed was thoughtful too. My adult daughter and I stayed two nights and loved the breakfast, so much choice! All fresh and the staff were super helpful and kind. To our disappointment the Metro station a few feet away from the hotel was closed in August when we visited as were several other stations around the city centre which did cause some difficulties during our stay but obviously that wasn't any fault of the hotel which is ideally placed for many attractions. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel, it has everything.

We arrived at 2am and that was no issue for check-in. In-room facilities were excellent, coffee machine, bathroom and slippers are a personal favourite. The toiletries were also of a high quality, there was a fridge which kept drinks super cold and everything was so nicely laid out, we even had a gym mat and weighs in the room! Great location for duomo and castle, plus so many restaurants and places to eat near by, plus a metro stop and main line train station within minutes of the hotel. A brilliant selection for a buffet breakfast, and an extra touch was on our last day in the morning the staff presented me with a birthday pancake with a candle and a song! On check-in the staff obviously noted the date of birth and realised I was there for a birthday trip! they truly made the trip special!

This delightful, modern small hotel is situated conveniently to almost everything in Milan. Within a mile walk, one can find the Duomo, Central Station, the location of Leonardo’s Last Supper and many other attractions. There is a Metro stop within yards of the hotel. The decor is Milano chic and clever. Located in the fun Brera neighborhood, with restaurants and activities running up to midnight, but without a lot of commotion. The staff, especially at Julia and Magred could not have possibly been more welcoming and attentive. there is a lovely small bistro (portico 84) available in the lobby up to 9:45 for light suppers, and there are multitude of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. We have traveled a fair amount to many cities around the world and have found this hotel to be one of the more delightful.

Stayed for 4 nights in the La Cosy Twin room. The rooms are modern, very comfortable and very clean. Even though a bit small they made use of the space available with all the amenities provided. The room even had a pair of dumbbells and a yoga mat which we didn’t have time to use. Hotel is in a great location away from the hustle bustle of Milan city centre. It is located in the Brera district - an artistic and bohemian neighborhood known for its charming cobblestone streets, elegant architecture, and lively atmosphere. It is within easy walking distance to Duomo which takes approximately 20 mins. Metro subway station only 50m away from the hotel. Hotel staff are very helpful and also recommended us a few restaurants to dine which was close by to the hotel. Would definitely stay again!

From the moment we booked Paolo and Priya (owners) were so helpful. We arrived late In the evening to a warm welcome with a refreshing cold beverage and were shown to a beautiful room. Very clean and modern, overlooking the pool on the top floor. Breakfast was more than you could ever wish or need and the teams availability to help with any local knowledge was unbeatable. Great location for travel to and around Lake Garda, Verona and Venice. So pleased we didn't choose to stay closer to the Old Town as traffic there was a nightmare. This location is perfect for strolls, restaurants (although the in house restaurant was super), local shops and beaches. Couldn't fault anything and we travel a lot. Great pool, great room, super great hosts.

Everything was incredible! The room, the pool, the roof terrace, it was just fantastic! The location was convenient for the bus, and sirmione was the perfect base for exploring lake Garda. The hosts are absolutely amazing, so kind and friendly and welcoming! The food at the hotel is also fantastic. If you are thinking about booking, do it! Location couldn't have been better! Step outside and everything is at your doorstep, the Duomo is around the corner, shopping is a stone's throw away, restaurants galore to choice from what more could you ask for??? The hotel is top notch! The front desk people are helpful in every way, from a seamless check in to check out. They arranged our transfer to Milan airport and since our pick up was before breakfast was served they gave each of us a breakfast bag loaded to the brim, you won't go hungry that is for sure!!!! Free water is always available, in your room or by the front desk, even including sparkling water. Not to mention the treats that are complimentary in room and by the front desk. WOW when do you see that in a hotel of late???? The complimentary cocktail hour is for sparkling wine, just make sure that is what you order, my husband and friend ordered red wine which we didn't realize was not included, our bad! The breakfast buffet was awesome as well. The room was fabulous, so much room to spread out. Sparkling clean! Everything was well thought out, including the stool for the shower, the abundance of Q tips, shower caps, etc. replenished every single day never a need to request more. I could go on and on but you get the drift, we absolutely loved this hotel. Yes not cheap but so well worth the cost! Best place to stay in Milan in our opinion. Keep up the fantastic work!!!!

From the time we arrived and all throughout our stay, we were made to feel so welcome. We arrived early and before check in time. Letizia asked us how our trip went, offered us some food and cappuccino. We left the hotel since our room wasn’t ready and then shortly after we received a text saying our room was ready for us. Our luggage was brought up to our room even before we got there. The room was very well appointed with all the amenities you would need for your stay. The beds were very comfortable. Prior to arriving, I asked them to provide extra pillows for us and they did it. Breakfast was great (plenty of choices & freshly cooked eggs which you order), and the service was superb. Mary/Marites & the rest of the staff were all courteous and warm. You also have an option for breakfast to be served in your room by hanging a note by your door before you go to sleep. What I really liked most about this hotel aside from the location and service was the attention to detail and all the little “extras” you get - free bottled water, snacks, chocolates, little muffins & cookies and daily free aperitivo. It felt like staying in a 5 star boutique hotel. The price is a bit high but you do feel what you are paying for.

Hotel perfection in Milano! Sadat Il Duomo has it all…. The location is absolutely outstanding. A very short walk to the Duomo and Galleria, but far enough away from it to be out of the commotion. The hotel reception is friendly and efficient with every need taken care of promptly and pleasantly. The room was extremely well appointed with little gifts everywhere—chocolates :). A fresh flower in the room, a welcome note from reception, free, soft drinks and water in the mini bar, exquisite quality sheets, and towels, and beautifully decorated room with every detail perfect. The breakfast provided in the hotel was absolutely the most decadent and delicious breakfast of our lives. Service outstanding in every respect. Do not miss the fresh squeezed blood orange juice, the handcrafted pastry, and the delicious Bresola and mozzarella. Although we were not able to find time to enjoy it, the hotel also has an evening Prosecco reception. Complementary water and sparkling water, candies, and muffins are provided in the lobby. There are umbrellas by the door if needed, and the porter happily whisks your luggage directly to your room. The decoration of the hotel is so tasteful and beautiful- it adds to the comfort and welcoming atmosphere. We cannot say enough good things about this fine hotel!

First, the location. It's so central and incredibly convenient to see all the major tourist spots from this location very easily. You walk out and first thing to the left of the hotel is a fantastic gelato place to taste. Right across the street is a place to purchase wonderful balsamic vinegar. Just 3 stores down is a great place for delicious tiramisu! The Duomo Milan is literally 1.5 blocks away and 3 mins of walk. 3-5 minutes more you are in prime shopping region. We used the hotel as central base and literally walked to all the places that we wish to visit with a short visit! We would still use this location to venture out further if we had more time since the public transportation is so easy right outside of the hotel. Second, the staff. Everyone we met(bellman, front desk, housekeeping, food staff) were warm, welcoming and very helpful. It's a small boutique hotel but very charming in its own way and makes the stay more memorable than some of the larger branded hotels. Third, the breakfast was great! It sets us up for a great day of sightseeing and touring!

This is the perfect location for anyone focused on seeing the top sights in Milan. And that's just the beginning. Our room was comfortable, immaculate, and beautiful. In fact every corner of this hotel was beautifully appointed. Beyond this, we very much appreciated the service here. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and welcoming. We especially appreciated the wonderful women at the front desk. who took the time to answer all our questions and truly went out of their way to "show us the way." Our luggage was handled with care. An unexpected bonus: bottles of water (still and sparkling) and wonderful snacks in the reception area that we could help ourselves to whether on our way up to our rooms, or out to explore. Breakfast service was impeccable, and the breakfast buffet included simply everything we could possibly want (plus, eggs to order were also offered). Of all the excellent hotels we stayed in during three weeks in Italy, Hotel Spadari Al Duomo was our favorite!

Hotel Villa Aurora was almost too good to be true. We drove up to Lake Como from Milan and from our first glimpse of the lake and mountains we were smitten. The hotel is on a narrow and winding hillside road. They have direct lakefront buildings, a lakefront terrace with lounge chairs and steps downs into the sparkling lake. We checked in at the main building which is across the street from the lake. We were provided keys and given information regarding everything that was included- kayaks, paddle boards, a floating water trampoline and a buffet breakfast. Our rooms were direct lakefront with floor to ceiling doors that opened onto a small balcony with a glass railing. The rooms were immaculate and modern even with the charming setting. We had a queen sized bed and a twin day bed in addition to two comfy armchairs and a table facing the lake. The room had a small fridge with complimentary bottled water, and an electric pot to make coffee or tea. They provided beach towels to use at the lake and a nice brochure with everything we needed to know. The bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean. No tub, which was fine for us, but something to keep in mind if you have small kids. It had a very large tiled shower. The balcony had an automated screen and also electric black out blinds operated by a switch next to the door. After a day of sunning, swimming and boating we slept well and enjoyed a generous and varied breakfast. They have a lakefront restaurant for lunch and dinner.

A last minute change to our travel plans meant we arrived later than expected, around the time the kitchen was closing - the staff pre-ordered us a delicious lasagna to ensure we had something for dinner, and helped us get set up in our room for the night. We woke up the next morning to an INCREDIBLE view of the lake, and a wonderful breakfast spread. A local bike race meant that the main road and ferries were unaccessible to us during our stay, but staff advised us of a lakeside walk and cozy stone beach area just up the road. A bit dangerous to walk on the road with the winding turns and traffic, but once we were down by the lake it was a peaceful walk with more great views to take in. Food at the restaurant was delicious, and the terrace was beautiful. Only criticism would be that we shared the space with a wakeboarding competition which took up most of the private deck and lounge chairs during our stay, but it did not take away from an overall excellent experience. When we had trouble getting to our next destination the next day due to more road closures, staff went above and beyond to help get us where we needed to go. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay on the Lake!

Let me start by saying these reviews (like many things in life) are relative to the person providing the review and the person reading the review. One person's idea of an excellent hotel is different than someone else's. To give you a better idea of my experience with hotels... I've stayed in MANY hotels all over North America and Europe. (I used to travel for my job.) I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but I have seen quite a bit. Here's the good and bad... Good: - AC in the room! There was a heat-wave running through all of Europe when we visited. AC was important. - Nice dock out front by the lake. It is not a "beach", as they called it. (I know; I'm from Florida.) - Hotel staff was nice and very helpful, particularly Christina. Bad: - Hot everywhere but room. However, as mentioned, there was a heatwave in Europe, so perhaps the temperature is normally OK without AC. - Not close to anything That's it. Happy hotel hunting!

Villa Aurora is hands down the best location on Lake Como. Nestled right on the water’s edge in the charming village of Lezzeno (10 minutes from Bellagio) . It offers an authentic and peaceful escape from the busier tourist towns. The on-site restaurant was excellent! Each morning began with a generous breakfast selection, included with the room, which we enjoyed before stepping out onto our small patio to take in the breathtaking view of Lake Como. Waking up to that view was simply unforgettable. Keep in mind, this is a small boutique hotel with plenty of character. If you're staying in the main villa, you'll likely hear creaky floors and the sounds of staff preparing for the day as the inn comes to life. For us, this added to the charm and authenticity of the experience. Highly recommend Villa Aurora for anyone looking for a serene and scenic stay on Lake Como, with warm hospitality and a true local feel.

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel! The location was perfect (directly next to the bus stop, close to the ferry, 20 minutes from Bellagio…), the restaurant was INCREDIBLE (the food and drinks were delicious and the staff friendly), the breakfast was possibly the best hotel breakfast we’ve had, the amenities were so fun for the kids (we swam, kayaking, jumped on the trampoline, played in the floating inflatable island, lounged by the water, the room was. CLEAN and perfect for the 4 of us (large bed and 2 single), the washroom was extremely well stocked with everything from shampoo and conditioners to intimate wash for the bidet, the view was outstanding, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The receptionist has to be one of the friendliest and most helpful receptionists I’ve dealt with in all my travels (and that is saying a LOT)!! We will definitely be back!

Where do I start? From the moment we booked, until the minute we checked out, David, the owner and our host was nothing short of spectacular. He was warm, welcoming and a huge source of knowledge. David made us feel like family, guiding our days for us. We felt so comfortable and relaxed. Don't let the 2 stars worry you, the hotel was immaculately clean, bathroom was modern, despite being compact, it felt so much bigger. The bath sheets felt luxurious. And the tasty but simple breakfast was perfect 👌 If hotels were rated on their vibe alone, the Hotel Olimpia would be 5 stars. Our room had blackout shutters on the window, a radiator for winter and air-conditioned for summer. Perfect!!! The room was bright and sunny during the day when needed. The hotel has a laundromat just 30m across the road, the best gelato next door and if needed a short walk to the shuttle bus to the Old Town, but we walked this comfortably. We had free on-site parking for our vehicle too. The list of positives is ongoing. Book your stay here, there is no possibility you would regret the warm welcome from the owners and staff.

The location of the hotel is certainly advantageous. It's located in a very serviced area: within walking distance you will find a bank, a small supermarket, a pharmacy, a tobacconist where you can buy tickets for the Sirmione Shuttle Bus, numerous restaurants, etc. It is also within walking distance of the historic centre and the beaches, with a little bit of time, even if you want to reach Jamaica Beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful, you will be warmly welcomed and given lots of useful information for your stay in the area. Parking was included, and that's very helpful considering the difficulties to find a spot along the town and the prices. The room (the superior, in our case) met our expectations: as there were two of us, it was sufficiently spacious and well-equipped, excellent value for money!

The owners are incredibly kind and very generous with their time. They provided us with terrific recommendations for the area and went out of their way to book vespas for us to tour around the Lake and recommended some fantastic places to visit. Nothing is too difficult for them! Very clean rooms with daily housekeeping. Located close to a supermarket, and a great selection of bars and restaurants and gelaterias. It’s a bit of a walk into the old town but for us that was a positive as we like to walk as our way of exploring the area and we found the food options to be better in the area of the hotel than in old town. It’s only a short walk to the beach for a swim!

We can highly recommend this hotel. For us, it had the perfect location: cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets were either directly at the hotel or just around the corner and easily reachable by walking. The historic center of Sirmione and the beach are just a short bus ride away - you have a parking spot at the hotel, which is a big plus - however, we preferred using the bus. We had a clean room with a balcony, and overall, everything was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel had a very warm and family-like atmosphere, making us feel very comfortable during our stay. David gave us a very warm welcome and always had helpful tips. We would definitely stay here again next time. Thank you, David!

The owner was very accommodating and honoured our request for a quiet room. He (Davide) was an absolute mine of information, all helpful and useful. Although we consider ourselves to be independent travellers his quick grasp of what we were looking for and his tailored suggestions were excellent. We took his advice on a tourist shuttle bus, on restaurants and on activities. The breakfast was plentiful and good quality, including the best cappuccine we had in Italy!! The hospitality was warm and generous and the serving staff attentive and kind. The on site parking was a bonus - safe and roomy. The room was totally adequate - everything we needed and nothing we didn't. It was clean, comfortable and had mosquito protection.
