10.0My husband and I had a lovely stay at Physis Villas, which is equipped with a dreamy private pool and backyard with a vegetable garden. The house itself is spacious and has lots of thoughtful touches, like homemade honey. It’s a great place to stay if you want to be near Chania but away from the tourist hustle and bustle! We had a little trouble finding it upon arrival, so we’d recommend sorting out clear directions with the host in advance of arriving.

We had a great stay here - house was beautiful and well equipped and the remoteness and private pool were great for a relaxing stay in Crete. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring. On top of that Erato was super hospitable and responsive to our needs - highly recommended!
