8.4For a 1* pension hotel the room I had as a solo traveller was superb ! Good sized room, sink, fridge, and balcony was just perfect. Also the property has clearly been renovated as everything appeared new and the common WC/ shower rooms are very modern with a very hot power shower. Raphael and Carlos keep the property spotlessly clean and do a great job. I highly recommend Pension Alcala, but its best to try and book a room with a balcony

A basic but very clean room. The fridge was useful. A small balcony with views up and down the street. The bed was comfortable. A single small drawer for clothes and hanging space. Table and chair for balcony. Spare blanket. Excellent location for local beaches and good fish restaurants. The room was great.
