"Magnificent accommodation on the sea shore"

Amazing two-storey suite (seaside maisonette) on the sea edge, with a private onsen both inside and another in a little outside garden. Breakfast was hosted in the sister hotel next door and very good. Beautiful views over Beppu bay from the room and could easily sleep 4 in two bedrooms.

If we were super critical, the restaurant stopped serving at 7.30pm which we aren’t aware of ( there are few alternatives nearby) and there’s a slightly exterior motel-like architecture that belies the high end accommodation. The interior areas, however, were stunning and beautifully crafted.
