8.6Lovely Hotel, slightly "rundown" decor (very worn carpets etc) but it was all part of the charm. I had a huge double room with the tiniest of the bathrooms but water pressure in the shower was excellent. (Bathroom could do with a lick of paint though). Fabulous breakfast and obviously the rows and rows of books were the highlight of this place. I would definitely stay again.
Read more ↓Excellent location right outside the old town. We attended the medieval festival and this was the perfect accomodation to stay in. The staff were lovely, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was sensational.
