9.7Casa Sol is a meticulously renovated 18th-century courtyard-style building that once served as a a compound for an extended family. The location is ideal, just a few minutes' walk from Plaza Colon and one block from the north coast of Old San Juan. Eddie and Trish, the hosts, are people-loving people who enjoy chatting with guests. The intimate setting at breakfast means guests can easily interact with one another, and you'll probably meet interesting people. This is a wonderful alternative to the large hotels.

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Sol, mostly because of the “home” vibe you can’t but feel during the stay. Breakfast was so good and freshly prepared by the family! And the location is also perfect in Old San Juan!
