The house was spatious and very well equipped. Beautiful views over Funchal and a 10 minute walk down to the city. The house was very clean and felt very luxurious with a nice Madeiran traditional touch. We really enjoyed our stay at the house and would love to come back!
The bed mattresses were too hard and thin. With more comfortable beds the house would have been absolutely perfect!

Location is very good 15-20 mins walk into centre, slight hill getting back to villa but taxis are cheap enough getting back there. the villa is absolutely beautiful, the balcony views are brilliant, nice pool area, lots of lounging areas, pool is cool so nice to get in when it is hot.
the neighbouring properties have dogs that bark a lot, and early in the morning. one shower wouldn't drain, it needed unblocking. sprinklers came on when we were around the pool area which we weren't aware of and soaked everything wet through. this happens around 11:30am so future people know.
