Ambong Rainforest Retreat

The setting, the staff, the comfort and a number of little special gestures that makes you smile, observing forest life from the comfort of our balcony - what we’d hoped for by choosing this place, it didn’t disappoint! The Rimba Restaurant served up good breakfasts (great nasi lemak) and meals. Nearby club resort does pump out the music in the late afternoon and evenings, though not every night and always thankfully ends by 1am, as far as we’re aware. I would still recommend staying at Ambong - this one annoyance didn’t take away from our stay over all (take earplugs if a light sleeper).

Um pequeno oásis no meio de Langkawi! Próximo do centro, mas instalado numa colina muito sossegada, o que nos dá a total sensação de ficar imerso na floresta. A companhia dos animais nativos na floresta à nossa volta (macacos, pequenos lagartos, pássaros) torna a experiência ainda mais imersiva. Os alojamentos são excelentes, elegantes sem serem luxuosos, muito confortáveis e limpos. A simpatia e disponibilidade do staff tornou a nossa estadia ainda mais agradável.

Os serviços extras não são muito abundantes, mas tal não era um critério fundamental para a nossa estadia
