VILLA CAMPETS

Location is unbeatable, 5min drive from Ciutadella where you have all sorts of restaurants, shops etc., 30min to the famous beaches yet 5min to calas/beaches offering great alternative to the famous ones. Water pressure on both bathrooms was great, which isn't always the case. We were told there was no beach parasol available at the villa but we actually found 2 at the washing machine room. Plenty of wardrobe space, hangers, modern windows and doors felt quite safe. AC worked really well, plenty of kitchen utensils. A very friendly gentleman came over to replace the pool parasol base and set everything up. Check-in/out process was a breeze.

We stayed 2 weeks at the Villa (last 2 weeks of Sept) and cleaning what somewhat lacking, only once after week 1 because we asked for it and only got towels and sheets changed on that day, floor what kind of cleaned but not great we walked barefoot in the house and could feel our feet accumulating crumbs, dirt etc. Stairs were not touched for instance. Toilet paper were only offered at the beginning of our stay, were not replenished on the service day. Bathroom toilets were changed on the cleaning day and more brought in after on the 2nd week which was nice but not the pool/beach towers so we had to keep the same ones for 2 weeks. Outdoor table/seats were dirty when we arrived and never cleaned whilst we were there. The palm trees were constantly dropping (rather hard) seeds due to the wind covering the pool deck and pool, making it hard to walk/swim, a rather put off. Once we were awaken by someone with a leaf blower at 08:00 without notice - I'd expect to be notified at least the day before if they planned to come that early (it's holidays, I don't want to wake up at 08:00, leave alone with a leaf blower!!!) or to come at more reasonable time i.e 10:00. Travel cot mattress was quite bad, way too thin for a toddler to sleep in for 2 weeks.
