8.6Our stay at Refugio was very romantic and pleasant. The front office manager, Augustin, did a very good job personalizing our experience to the best of his ability. He helped me pick out the perfect surf shop and beach location for waves and was exceptional being available for questions throughout our stay. The coffee their was fantastic and me and my girlfriend loved his food recommendations.
Read more ↓Great property, they were very helpful and knowledgeable about surrounding places to see! Agustin helped us greatly when our shuttle out of Tamarindo canceled 5 hours before and managed to find an alternative for us! Overall, very easy to walk anywhere in town from Refugio. Expect some noise at night but they offer earplugs and truthfully it never was bad enough to need them
