9.6Terrific, inventive, fun place, great roof terrace with DJ, very nice room, absolutely delightful staff and a great breakfast. Had been staying at an upmarket boutique hotel. Our flight home was cancelled after three hours on the tarmac and we scrambled to find a hotel for the night. Thrilled that we stumbled on the Modernist. Would definitely stay again. A great experience and a great value.

What a wonderful stay I had at The Modernist Hotel, it’s super stylish, really well located and easy to get to all the major sights, an amazing and very friendly young staff, from reception, the cafe and the bar, the cleaning staff, and crowning it all a fantastic roof top bar where you can drink looking at wonderful views of Athens. I’m definitely coming back there again next year.
