9.4"Absolute olde world gem, in a now full on modern city"
It's a 123 year old (1903) historical hotel, which we love, and it has been well upgraded in areas that matter for todays expectations (bathroom, shower and aircon.) Superbly maintained, but still retains its 123 year old character, charm and ambience. Extremely well located, in a quiet location, but minutes only to everything we wanted, and a Michelin star Italian restaurant co-located on ground floor adjoining

A lot of great things about this hotel. First, the building is so historic and cool, it's worth staying there just for that. The location is perfect for walking everywhere. The staff is amazing, super helpful and cheerful. The attached restaurant is great! I would definitely stay again.
The only downside for me is something the hotel cannot help. Noise. The streets of Georgetown are very busy all night and the constant sound of loud traffic is annoying. If you're a light sleeper, it'll be a problem.
