9.8"A Romantic retreat on the shore of the Indian Ocean"
We stayed in a private villa with huge, vaulted ceilings filled with colonial antique furniture. There was an inside and outside shower as well as a huge tub. A private patio crossed our own Koi pond. Ten steps to a restaurant. huge pool, and access to the beach. Relaxing while wandering in the tropically landscaped grounds, gazing at the sunset, we felt transported to a different era. Only about 1.5 hrs to Colombo airport by the toll highway-this would be a great stop to unwind after arrival or before departure

I am so glad we booked Reef to finish off our Sri Lankan holiday - it was absolutely perfect from the huge, luxurious suites to the exceptional service and food. Dino and team could not do enough for us, but it was never over the top - we just felt well hosted by the entire team. Worth every penny to stay in such a secluded space on a beautiful coastline - we saw more cows on the unspoilt beach than people and you get a beautiful western sunset from Reef.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for US$35 per person per night when using an available cot. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. Children from 3 years old to 13 years old stay for US$95 per person per night when using an existing bed. Children from 14 years old to 17 years old stay for US$165 per person per night when using an existing bed. Children from 3 years old to 17 years old stay for US$125 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
