9.2"Incredible 17th century castle on the Mediterranean coast in Sicily"
I have travelled to many places in Europe and the world over the past 15 years. The Castello di San Marco is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at. The hospitality was excellent, and the hotel itself is one-of-a-kind. The environment is peaceful, restful, natural, and it's just a short 5-minute walk to a quiet pebble beach. Rooms are authentic, comfortable, well-air-conditioned, lovely, and clean.

A beautiful and very spacious historical property with a special atmosphere and extensive gardens. The large pool area is particularly attractive, although the pool is unfortunately not heated. The staff throughout the hotel was generally very helpful and friendly. The main disappointment was the breakfast experience: despite a lovely outdoor patio, breakfast was served inside, and the service felt rather unprofessional and inattentive compared to the standard of the property. Overall, however, an enjoyable stay in a unique historical setting.
