Been coming to Sai Kaew Resort for 16 years. It’s a great location with a very competent and friendly staff. There is major construction going on which we were unaware of. They also moved the breakfast buffet from the location next to the beach to another building which has no view. Finally the food inflation in Thailand is unbelievable and this applies to all tourist locations. It varies between 300 and 800 percent. Yes the numbers are correct. It is a sad development to what I consider the best vacation destination in the world.

Staying 2 nights at Saikaew beach resort was great. The room was very good and amenities. The staff was excellent and the restaurant and cafe were very good. This is a good location, right on the beach. Plenty of free loungers that were more comfortable than most places have. Pepe was a very helpful staff member and gave us tips where to go on the island.
