9.2L’Antico Pozzo never disappoints. This is our second time staying here, and the only way to see San Gimignano. While the tourist hordes overrun the town, sit in their quiet courtyard and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a bottle of wine, then walk to all of the towns attractions in the evening when the buses have all gone. Matteo was a great host, rooms are clean, comfortable and roomy. Location is tough to beat, just a short walk from the parking outside the city walls.

This is a great hotel! Location is excellent and the rooms are lovely. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of options. Staff were most accommodation. The hotel has a beautiful interior patio with table and chairs, potted plants and lots of sun. I used it nearly every day we were there. Highly recommend.
