8.6The Sands was a lovely resort. Grace Bay is our favorite place in the world and The Sands is also conveniently located to the shopping area as well. We loved the pool facing the ocean and the restaurant on site was cute. However, I would not reserve a first floor Garden Suite again. We were disappointed in ours as the patio area was enclosed and there was no airflow. It was very hot and surrounded by foliage so felt a little claustrophobic. We asked to be moved to the second floor and the staff was very lovely and accommodating. Our second floor suite was very nice!
Read more ↓The proper grounds are beautiful with numerous quiet places to relax or read. The room had a spectacular view of a pool and beach! It isn’t peak season so it wasn’t crowded at all. We had breakfast and dinner at Hemmingways which is one of our favorite restaurants on the island. I love it here and can’t wait to go back!
