A truly wonderful and unexpected surprise off the beaten path. The owners and their architects developed a real gem. Every little detail is well designed and thought through. The staff is extremely friendly, the infinity pool is awesome and also has a cool section with jets in the floor. The beds are huge and the mattresses are very comfortable. Hard to improve much, but would be nice to have a few international channels on the TV. Everything else was top notch.

Nicely landscaped resort. We had a semi-detached bungalow with privat pool.

Very unique style for Thailand, a great idea actually to attract not only foreign, but also Thai tourists. The little houses are pretty, kept in good condition and clean. Rooms are very spacious and beds were comfy. The staff was very nice and helpful, they also had a little souvenir corner at the reception. The pool has a jacuzzi feature, which was also nice. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices and the food was tasty.

The cleanliness of the swimming pool and the room are excellent. The landscape and style is extraordinary lovely.

We have a nice breakfast in the hotel. The environment is chilly with lots of trees around. The resort is at the beachfront. My son likes the swimming pool just outside the room.

The hotel was very quiet, I think three of the four nights we were the only guests. The staff were friendly and helpful but english is non-existent. The room has a large balcony overlooking the pool and the garden leading to the beach. The pool and garden are lovely but one downside is there is no shade in the pool area. Overall a nice relaxing stay.

Breakfast was like a western style and very filling... probably too much coffee though... room itself pretty simple with views to the pool... but the infinity salt water pool was gorgeous... plus short walk 40 metres maybe to the beach where the swimming is fantastic... amazing beach... good experience...

Nice hotel in the middle of Chao Lao Beach, has Mini BigC and 7Eleven opposite. Direct access to the beach, nice swimming pool and big garden. Room with balcony is spacious and has two big beds. It has enouth plugs for electricity. It is very quiet. Staff is very friendly.

Quiet. Have a walkway down to the beach. The pool is big and sparkling blue clean.

A quiet and peaceful place to stay. We enjoyed the out of the way location and the wonderful room. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple American style with cereal, hot drinks, toast etc. The dinner menu was also great - fantastic Chicken & cashew!

En ægte ‘Hidden Gem’. Stranden er meget privat og smuk - lækkert sand og klart vand. Fantastisk pool - ren og velholdt! Kolde drikkevarer og god mad fra The Shore. Hotel manageren var meget venlig og hjælpsom, og vi manglede intet under opholdet. Rigtig god morgenmad med frisklavede æg, søde sager, thailandske retter og alt hvad man havde brug for. Et lille tog man kunne tage ned til stranden var et sjovt påfund og meget fint, især til børn! En perle i Thailand! Vil klart anbefale.

Bott här många ggr och det är lika bra varje gång. Fantastisk strand, utmärkt pool och bra standard på rummen. Utmärkt frukost. Dom utbildar personal från skolor så personalen kan vara lite oerfaren ffa i restaurangen.

This is a lovely hotel - very convenient location, EXTREMELY kind and helpful staff - several of whom speak quite good English. The hotel is immaculately maintained and kept - very clean, very good quality, nothing broken. The hotel layout is very unique and clever, 24 rooms located around a lovely pool. We took the dinner package which was very good value and excellent quality food served in a top notch restaurant. The included breakfast was also very nice - several choices and cooked fresh. The notice on Expedia is in error - there is a very good 24/7 front desk. There is no need to call ahead, though they will quickly get a colleague who speaks English if you do have questions.

i was kinda hurry to book a hotel as it was unplanned journey. when I passed through chantaburi, it was 5 oclock in the morning and I was too tired to drive further. therefore i booked it at the time, went straight to the hotel cuz i thought it might be neccesary having early check in if possible. i correct my sat nav and drove several miles from the city and wow. the resort was in the middle of nowhere. so, the location if you dont have a car it might be really hard to reach there. as i recogne there was shuttle bus alike if you can speak thai. the closest convenience store is located about 1 mile away from the resort. the room and service. i satisfied enough as the room was quiet and cozy, toilet and shower room was enourmous plus you get your own terrace that you can smoke. the resort is surrounded by nothing but green, simply beautiful. just 14 pounds for a night, this is really not bad. there were few disappointments though, wifi signal inside of the room was very weak indeed(i was staying in poolside room2) and not a single tv channel has english supportive or other languages. The biggest problem for me, was lack of english spoken staff(i realised that only local people were staying while i was in there) eventhough they did the best to support me :) early check in with no extra charge even!! if you are not huge fan of big breakfast. toast, coffee and tea is served for free on 2nd floor of restaurant. Ahh, you better go after 8am.

Helt fantastisk sted. Utrolig hyggelig betjening. God frokost som kan vestilles ekstra. Oppholdet var utrolig mye for pengene.

Nice little getaway in a good location, the beach is fabulous and water super warm and clear. Nice pool area and lounge chairs and cushions between pool and Beach, very nice relaxing place.

I have stayed here several times over the last 4 years. I like the resort. I wish they would renovate things like the pool furniture and villa patio furniture.

English language is critical with hotel staff, but all are very friendly.

We loved everything about the Am2tree. It was ultra clean, modern and exceptionally comfortable. So comfortable that we spent far too much time in our room! The room was spacious with plenty of storage space. The bed linen and towels were crisp and white. The room was cleaned everyday to a high standard. Really loved that there was lots of natural light in the room. The bathroom was well designed and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. There is a great coffee machine near reception for free coffees but we also asked for a kettle in our room. Location was fine, close to supermarkets and about 10-15 minutes walk from Cathedral and Riverside. It was very quiet and we slept really well. The ladies on reception were friendly and helpful. A great place to stay if you visit this lovely city.

A super hotel! The staff were so welcoming and helpful, the room was a great size, so clean and new, I really appreciated having 2 types of pillow on the bed!! Lovely simple breakfast available in the morning, you can choose from 3 types at check in which will be made for you in the morning, along with self service juice/water/hot drinks, toast & watermelon. There is a good parking lot with plenty of spaces and shade. The rooftop is so lovely too, especially at night with the decking and lights. I will definitely stay again on my next visit.

On our way to Koh Chang we had booked an overnight stay in the "Am2tree" in order to visit the hotels on Koh Chang in peace the next day. Goggle took us easily to the hotel located on a small side street. The beautiful new hotel has a spacious private car park and ensures a pleasant overnight stay. We give 5 stars for excellent cleanliness, functionality and reception. There is a breakfast buffet for 100THB with a choice of Western or Thai dishes. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. We'd love to come back anytime.

The staff is friendly and helpful, also helped us rent a scooter. Location is really good, nice and quiet area. There are restaurants and coffee shops nearby and also laundry place. Breakfast only 100baht - you can choose 1 main dish and fruits/toast and coffee/tea are buffet style. Shower really good.

The hotel was so clean, which was good and omg the comfiest bed I've stayed in in the whole time I've visited Thailand!!! (4th time!!), the reception staff were amazing so shout out to them 👌, it's also walking distance from the waterfront and the cathedral 👍

My first impression is economical price, supper clean accommodation, in Lobby floor have any food, snacks and small items personal care product are available for sale suitable for who don’t need to walk outside. Free hot drinks self service start at 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The hotel have many branches in Thailand also.

Hop Inn keep their high standards wherever you find one. I've stayed in this chain before and you know you will get the same. Clean, super comfortable bed. Good quality furnishings. Fridge. TV. On suite in every room. You have the option of a lift to your floor as well as stairs. Highly recommended.

The location is close to markets but so peaceful. The room is very clean. Beds are comfortable. What I like the most is friendly supportive front office staff.

Clean and simple fit to the basic needs for a business trip. One of my favorite city hotel that meets standard of stay.

Great hotel located in a beautiful garden private beach, nice swimming pool, we had a bedroom at the main building, very confortable and spacious, nice bathroom as well. The breakfast was excellent. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful I recommended

The resort is beautiful with lots of wonderful plants. There is a nice pool (we swam In the ocean). The rooms were large and the beds we’re comfortable. Very clean and the staff cared. There were a few English speaking staff which helped.

Sehr schönes neues Hotel. Allerdings ist es noch nicht ganz fertig. (April 18) Da es abseits liegt ist es von Vorteil wenn man ein Auto hat. Es ist in der Nähe vom Shipyard und dieser Ort ist gut ausgeschildert. Der Jacuzzi ist etwas klein geraten. Schade für eine Honeymoon Suite. Eine Tour mit dem Kajak ist der Hammer. Am besten früh morgens oder abends raus wenn die tide und das Wetter mitspielen. Es gibt auch Fahrräder zum mieten. The property sits on a panoramic view of big lotus pond and a swimming pool and a lake. It is a beautiful surrounds of nature. The staff are friendly, helpful and accomodating as we were travelling with 14 people in our group with many requests. Our trip was cut short because of other matters, I will definitely come back to this place.

This was a peaceful location and everything was almost perfect. The food in the restaurant at night was exceptional and the staff helpful and friendly. It was wonderful having swims in the large pool. The sea view from our room was stunning.

This is a well planned, well made and very well kept hotel. I called it pretty. Great attention to detail. The gardens are lovely as is the pool area and the restaurant area.

Mua, the owner, speaks English and was extremely helpful and friendly, anticipating my needs. It is about a 300 meter walk straight down to the beach. The beach is good for walking and has minimal surf, so is good for lap swimming. I stumbled on to a night market my first night there and found several items to take home for dinner. There is a fridge, electric kettle, and plenty of utensils if you want to do your own cooking.

Very nice place, friendly staff. The beach is great, so clean water! Just 2 minutes to the beach. We arrived at midnight and could check-in without any trouble.

Amazing set of bungalows ideal for groups and families. Quiet but close to the beach and restaurants (5 minutes walk). Clean and basic, but a great deal. BBQ tools provided and special are free of charge, a big kettle for ramen is provided, instant coffee, water and cookies everyday. The area is very very affordable with Thai restaurants, laundromats and shops. Moa, our host, was just incredibly kind and thoughtful. We came for one night and stayed for three.
