9.0The property is located outside the city center so you will always need a taxi or a rental vehicle. The street that leads from the main road to the hotel is unpaved. Otherwise, the property is lush and pretty, quiet and secure. The staff is friendly although a bit slow. The food is pretty good. I would highly advise against going in July. The mosquitos are a nightmare and so is the sargassum problem. This is out of the control of the hotel, so not using it for my rating. Only to advise future travelers.

Wish I could give this place 6 stars! The bed and room in general were the comfiest we have ever stayed in! The staff were so kind and welcoming even giving us plenty of recommendations on places to see!
