8.0"Hidden gem"
Beautiful old building with a stunning courtyard and swimming pool right in the heart of Galle. This property is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous heritage features. There is a beautiful open courtyard with gardens a pond and gazebo right in the heart of the old town. We could step out and be right in the middle of all the action and a 1 min walk to the fort to explore.

Lovely quiet property in excellent location in Galle - everything we needed was in easy walking distance. Beautifully restored old house, lush garden and pool (with a great kingfisher who popped by for a dip!). Breakfasts were some of the best we had during our month in Sri Lanka, and the outdoor dining area was really pleasant.
Rooms were a tad on the small side, and the manager/front office staff weren't very proactive with information or advice on what to do in Galle. The cleaning/food service staff were excellent :)
