8.4This is located in the hills, about 20 minutes from Ocho Rios the drive is a little bit of an adventure but the view is amazing. Perched on a hillside overlooking a beautiful valley it feels completely different from the seaside resorts. I stayed in a room named "Morning Light" and found out why when the sun rose. The staff was charming the local rooster less so, we got even with some free range eggs for breakfast. I highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants to really experience Jamaica while feeling safe and comfortable.

Lovely place in the country on a scenic route not far from town. Great vibe, kind and attentive owners, simple, clean and comfortable rooms, with excellent coffee and I hear that the chef is terrific, though I was not present for meals. A taste of real Jamaica, not the typical tourist spot.
